Sue Singh the general manager is the best in the business. Shes looks out for all of the customers everyway possible..She handles her business and I truly miss her here at 5th and Fairhill. Shes the best and they need her back at that site. Shes hands on and runs a tight ship which you need in a business...If I could petition for Sue to come back Id be the first to sign the petition and im sure many more follow Sue you are the best....

Had selected this location because I had to move immediately, I walked in and it was pleasant I was helped and there wasn’t a long wait, the girl there showed me how to do everything since this was my first time doing everything alone, I definitely will select this location again for my moving needs. Was a smooth process for me.

This place is poorly managed and poorly ran. I have been waiting since 7:30 am, its now 8:41 am.. despite making my reservation days in advance. There is one person working.People without reservations are leaving before me and the person working also gave away trucks that are reserved for people to others without reservations.

Do not rent from this location . Warning ⚠️ all there tires are dry rod and treads are bald and unsafe. My husband and I went to this location cause we rented from them years ago. And when we went to inspect the truck notice passenger door don’t close all the way, windshield rubber coming off and tires are bald and dry rod. So we let the guy know he satates all of the trucks look like that. So we change trucks so as my husband drove he noticed that the axle is slipping while driving they need someone from corporate at this location. They also don’t put the right mileage and gas on paperwork. They try to get over on you if not paying attention

My experience with Uhaul has been a great one I have a storage...Susan Singh who is the owner and manager who I have dealt with since day one she is the best in my personal opinion. She is very attentive to all her customer needs included myself. If i have a problem shes right on top of it she determines integrity dedication honor and leadership and most of all shes on top of her game......I own 2 businesses Harsati Valet Services and Harris Cleaning Company and i would definitely like to have her as a partner running both businesses....Shes the best..The staff is good there as well I have no complaints

I reserved a 20 truck and car trailer 6 days ago for my 600 mile move across the country. I received a call last night at 8pm, less than 48 hours before I was scheduled to pick up the truck, informing me that there were no trucks available anymore. I was told that there were in fact zero trucks of any size available within a 50 mile radius. I was offered zero alternative options, zero consolation, and zero compensation for the inordinate inconvenience caused on U-hauls incompetent behalf. Moving is stressful enough as it is, no one should be told hours before their move that they have to find another way to drag all their belongings to a new state. I highly suggest that anyone considering renting any moving equipment seek out an alternative to U-hauls irresponsible and extremely inconvenient business practices.

Spend a couple extra dollars and rent a truck from Budget or Penske. U-Haul is only marginally cheaper and they make you do all the work these days by pushing you towards using the app which involves you taking pictures of existing damage on the truck as well as the gas level and mileage. Constantly issues with the app that make this even more difficult and the folks working there dont know how to use it either so good luck getting any assistance.

The manger is very rude. From the time I pulled onto the property the manger was an donkey and when I tried to pick up the vehicle that I rented she was being rude, and just a B.

Horrible experience, customer service was very unprofessional when i went to pick up the pickup truck i made reservations for... I was charged $150.00 for accident fee for something that was already wrong on the truck when i received it, I called Uhaul when i seen that i was charged extra and whom ever answering the phone was very nasty which made me lose it. I will never go there again....

Overall the experience was good. chill and helpful staff. However the associate that completed my truck return didnt do the odometer math correctly and I had to overpay for mileage. It was only an extra $6 but still...

I made a reservation with this branch for 10am, got there at 10:03am and was very swiftly and kindly helped by their employee, Shima. She was super nice and energetic and helped us out very fast.The uhaul battery ended up dying but they were very helpful in sending a mechanic over to me and he helped me start the uhaul back up in 5 minutes total which was awesome!I called the manager and told her what happened and she was very understanding about it all and gave me a full refund.Although it didn’t all go according to plan, she apologized and helped out to the fullest extent and i really appreciated it. They are great people to work with and i will definitely be returning to them for my next move.

THE STORE MANAGER IS INCOMPETENT

I have used this location a few times in my four years living in Philadelphia, and they have always provided a great service. They are fast, professional, and knowledgeable in their operations. I highly recommend using them for your moving needs.

Completley unprofessional owner/manger told me she wasnt going to rent me a truck based on her own estimation of when she felt as though Id return the truck even though Id stated it would be back before the next time it was do to be rented. Go to the location on hunting park cleaner and professionalism is superb.

Bait and switch on the fees. They told me one fee over the phone then charge twice the amount in person. Then they DOUBLE CHARGED my card. causing multiple bank charges. They took the amount from my account that they were supposed to then the next day there was another charge for about the same amount, causing bank fees. Unscrupulous practices which caused major problems for me.

I returned my truck after my long distance move. Got in and out fast. Quick service on a Sunday.

If I could give 0 STARS I would, the front counter girl Dakiesha Simon was very rude and unprofessional from when I walked in the door. Awful customer service .. She acted as if she dont want to work. No eye contact, doesnt speak clear and pointed me in the wrong direction in the parking lot .. I had a feeling from the beginning not to rent there and when Im returning car, they try to charge for back door that I never even got to open cuz I used the side door .. so they charge me a back door fix when it wasnt even touched .. they need to make sure every employee doing what they have to do regarding inspecting cars before renting them out when it wasnt the customers fault .. It was on their end . Their unprofessionalism ., their need to get over on people. I went to several locations looking for a pick up truck and didnt want to keep doing circles, so I ended up renting there even thought I had a strong feeling in my gut not to . And this is what happens.smh.

This place was horrible. The girl had an attitude, she was on her phone the whole time. And after I got my propane tanks filled and went back to pay. She came out walked to do whatever without saying anything and I had to wait there until she came back. I will never come to this uhaul place again!!

The sales assoicate was very unprofessional ( darkskin female with glasses) she was rude and on her cell phone trying to set up things for her personal life rather then attend to customers all the while she gave us a van with a broken mirror i had to tell her about it or other wise she wouldnt of said anything

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Doors all propped open with mops so the security is suspect. Id look elsewhere for storage.

Wrong mileage when received might cost me up to $250 extra for miles I did not use. Be sure to check the mileage when you receive the vehicle to make sure you dont get over charged like me.

I have used this location for moving and storage. My only issue is rats/mice got into my things and destroyed alot of my property. And i was still expected to pay to get my things out of the storage because my bill was a week overdue. The insurance company they directed me to says they not covering the demage. There is no replacing half the things destroyed so now i am about to lose all my things because i really dont have the money to pay the bill or do i wanna put out more of my money for things mice/rats got to. But i would recommend they moving rans

I was completely unsatisified with the service I received after returning the truck I rented for moving. This has been a company I frequently use for work and personal business and this last time it actually left a bad taste in my mouth. Theres been discrepancies in the past when it comes down to my final bill but this time it was completely obsurd. I was first charge to fuel the vehicle all the way up past what my contract showed, 2nd they charged me taxes on the fuel and 3rd I was charged a late fee for my bill not being paid. It took almost two weeks to get things straightened out and when all was said an done I was told I shouldve came into the store earlier and things couldve been taken care of sooner verses me calling customer service and going through the proper channels as I was told when I did call the location that I rented the vehicle from. Uhaul has seen the last of my business and Money They just lost a long time customer of over 10 years...

Recently I helped in a move and the truck worked quite well, just a little detail in the back door, it was stagnant and could not be unloaded the same day, but they fixed it and gave them extra time to use it and without charging extra.

Not very good because only 2 employees and to pay for a gas tank it took me an hour that was absurd
