The warehouse is good. The rate is pretty fair. I minus a star because the loading and unloading area is too narrow.

Called ahead, asked the clerk about rentals - got disconnected and called back and was given a reservation on a 5x5 unit, arrived by Uber only to be be yelled at about how the storage facility only had 10x5s. After voicing my initial complaint was answered with a no problem. Problem - I wasted money on ride share and time taken away from other tasks. This man needs customer service rehab.

Rented a Uhaul and when returning it had an issue where my dollies were marked as missing, even though I had returned them the evening before. Went to speak to the manager, Javier Maldonado, in person who was absolutely fantastic and immediately refunded me the charge. Fantastic customer service overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Parking to return U-Haul is insanely difficult. They park the cars so close its almost impossible get the mirrors past each other.

Angel was incredibly helpful when our UHaul had a flat! Not sure about any other services, but customer service was great!!

I tried to rent from them. The website said they had to call me to finalize the reservation because they had to make sure it was there and available for my date. The first person hung up on me because they didn’t feel like answering my questions. I tried calling back and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I called from another number and then they decided to answer. The woman was very rude the whole time and didn’t want to help with anything. They said they didn’t know if they would have my truck there on my moving date. What kind of business is this? If you want rentals you should make them available. I said i would check to see if any other companies had guaranteed rentals and the women hung up and then i received email confirmation that my rental was cancelled WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Don’t bother with these scammers. Use a different company.

Id like to thank Precious for her excellent assistance when I went to pick up moving boxes. She not only gave me quality advice, she also pointed me to the handy moving checklist, and she took everything I bought and put it right next to the door to allow for easy pickup. Do not rent from this location. I had a nightmare of an experience on 4/30/21 & 5/1/21. Angel and Javier, the store managers are extremely unprofessional and rude. Their only concerns are making sales not the customer. Very unknowledgeable and unwelcoming. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Rented a truck from here to move my things out of my apartment. The location is convenient and the people are nice enough but I found chicken bones strewn all over the cabin. The truck obviously wasnt cleaned or it was left unlocked.

I have a storage unit with them that Im trying to empty remotely. I have been trying to call them for FOUR days and have not gotten anyone to pick up the phone. I also got on the phone with a Uhaul representative who wasnt able to get in touch with this branch either. Ive spent easily a couple of hours on hold at this point. This is completely unacceptable.

It wasnt to bad at all..you just go to there web site put in what u want regarding the vehicle and anything else..put in the time went youre be picking everything up....and go pick it up..one thing though... they need to take better care of their vehicles..the one I had..had graffiti written on the sides and back..it made the truck look ghetto.

Recent rental of 15ft truck. tried to scam me with fuel surcharge for delivering it back with less gas than i started. i returned the truck with the same amount of fuel i started with. luckily i ALWAYS take photos of my rentals and dashboard before i leave. BEWARE. other than that, they were very polite to work with.

Dont bother even trying with this company, the lady just answers and puts you on hold listening to a nearly inaudible pre-recorded message that says nothing relevant or helpful. You will NOT be helped, find another place for your Uhaul/storage needs

Very good service and experience! This was my very first time renting a van from Uhaul and it went very smoothly! The service was very nice and the prices are great. I have no complaints, everything went well and they made me feel at ease.

Stay away. Billed $106, on top of my payment for vehicle, because I parked in the U-Haul parking lot provided across the street which you can’t park in. You will not be able to get through to customer service (or will need to wait 2+ hours on the phone to reach someone).Plenty of other options to use nearby that won’t 1.) nickel and dime you and 2.) hold you responsible for their lack of facilities.

Liars! I asked, just to make sure. They said everything would be out of the way, so the moving truck could get really close to the unit to get everything out, and that wasnt the case. Corporate was aware and said they would look into it. I dont know what they really did, other than express sympathy. Luckily, I had good movers who made their harder job look easy.

Very clean storage units and reasonably priced. They dont charge any extra administrative fees like most storage places. Online payment processing is easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The 24/7 access is great.

Ive used Uhaul many times in the past but never experienced such rude behavior on Sunday afternoon Feb 16th. Upon entering the store I walk up to the counter only to have the gentleman sitting at the desk never utter a word but instead put on his sunglasses and stare straight ahead. He proceeded to text on his cell until a women who indicated she was the assistant manager Shavena came from the back to check my truck in . I explained to her that I had called earlier and told someone at this location that I would be dropping the truck back off to this location. This was the same location I originally picked the truck up from. Shavena then went on to say the rate would double as I would be charged differently and not as my contact indicated. Even when I told her again I had called before to confirm my rate would stay the same. At her suggestion I called customer service, the woman too confirmed that yes I was correct and my rate would stay the same. This seem to anger Shevena and she quickly got into a heated discussion with the customer service rep saying my rate would need to increase. I interjected into the conversation that she had told me to call customer service but now doesnt want to honor what the are telling her. The customer service rep then advised me that it would be easier to simply drop off the truck at another location close by. Which I did and the people at that Oregon location couldnt have been more pleasant. Some people really shouldnt work in a service industry if they really arent good with the public.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! I sincerely hope that I can help others avoid my mistake. Note: I can only speak to the storage/moving in and out aspect of the company, but truck rental reviews dont look great either.1. Location: Despite its proximity to downtown, this location is not ideal. It is in a sketchy neighborhood and space is tight (see loading dock issues below). I recommend using a location farther out and traveling a little farther to get into the city.2. Units: The storage units just have a caged top, no actual ceiling. If someone wanted to steal your stuff they could easily cut the caged top and grab whatever they want.3. Climate Controlled: I paid extra money for a climate controlled unit. When I moved out it was 95 degrees in the facility. I confronted the owner about this issue, and he told me that it is street climate. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds a lot like outside in the elements to me. Complete waste of money. I had movers who said that facility was the worst experience theyve had in 10 years. They were going back to recommend not moving to or from this facility again.4. Loading dock: The loading dock is just a narrow alley that can barely fit moving trucks. When I moved in, I had to wait for two other trucks to move before I could back into the tiny designated space. When moving out, the truck couldnt maneuver in the alley at all, so the driver had to park on the opposite curb and move all my stuff farther. Even when you can back your truck to the dock, it is far too high and still incredibly inconvenient to use.5. Elevator: There is only one elevator for the entire facility, so you spend most of your time (and money if you hire movers) waiting on the elevators. You load up your dolly, wait for 10 minutes then wait again. It took 3 hours to move out furniture for a 1 bedroom apartment.6. Staff: Lastly, the owner of this store is incredibly rude and defensive. He obviously gets a lot of complaints, because as soon as I brought an issue to his attention, he responded sharply and derogatorily.

Helped my son move his stuff out of his storage box, the man in the garage was very helpful, got us into a tight parking space with my pickup truck, other staff all friendly as well.

Less than 30 days and they send me an email saying they are raising the price. Do not recommend.

Uhaul put a dark cloud on our wedding. We accidentally reserved a van for a few days instead of making 2 separate reservations. Manager wouldnt split the reservation. Also, I asked to at least have the van parked on their lot to avoid $100 in parking fees. Manager wouldnt allow it. We will consider Penske or Budget (or anyone else) for any truck rental in the future!

Rented a 17 Truck at 5pm on a Wednesday and things went smoothly. The staff were professional and attentive, and seemed to care about my needs as a customer. My truck was returned late by another customer, so I had to wait about ten minutes. The staff were hustling to get it to me and it was no problem at all. Dropped the truck off late at night after closing, parked it in a metered spot on 13th and slipped the key in the dropbox in the window around the corner. Didnt have to pay for the meter. Convenient location and easy rental- Id come back.

Dumpy truck, kept making noises and screeching.Staff memebrr didnt tell us prior to buying a padlock for the back of the truck that they supplied them for us. He offered to open it for us before we knew there was one on the back of the truck .. So we couldnt return it.Also we reserved for 10 hours but on day of service they cut it back 4 hours which was a real damper and made it a rush of a day trying to finish moving 4 hours earlier than what was planned.All in all, expensive and just not worth the money for the experience.

We reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance; 2 days before we were scheduled to pick up the truck, they called to say they did not have that truck, and that wed have to drive out of Philly (over an hour) to get a truck (though not the size we wanted.)In other words, our reservation was meaningless. Be aware that youre taking a huge gamble if you decide to go with UHaul; theyre the cheapest cost around for a reason.

Ok to far for my experience kinda sketchy area

I made my reservation a month in advance. I arrived 1 hour early and there was not a van available which I understand because I was early. Instead of ensuring that a van was available when I came back they gave their only available van away to a customer who walked up and made a reservation. I ended up having my reservation moved to the location in South Philly which was miles out of my way (that I had to pay for in milage and in gas). If they knew they probably wouldnt have a van or truck to give me when I returned at 4 why didnt they just transfer my reservation when I initially arrived at 3? I ended up getting the van an hour after my reservation time from the location in South Philly and I had to drive from South to North Philly in the middle of rush hour (more gas for me to pay for). I dont blame the associates I blame management. Management was aware of the situation at 3 and did nothing. I never even saw management, the associate had to call a manager on their cell phone.

Horrible service. Scheduled pickup for 7am and was not available for over 2 hours. We weren’t told of this until after we had already arrived early in the morning. The manager, Javier, was unable to contacted. Very frustrating experience and will not use again.

I rented a truck from uhaul and the manager at this location charged me X amount when I picked up the keys. Two days later when I dropped off the truck, the manager at this location charged me the corrected amount after the miles were calculated.He then proceeded to charge me for extra pads that were never used. It has been 10 days and I still have not received my refund. I was charged twice for one order. An associate there was unable to refund my money when I went in for assistance. He advised that the manager would call me the following day, and he has not.When I called to speak with manager he was not at the location according to another associate.

They will rip you off! If you do use them, cover your butt and take pics of the gas gauge BEFORE getting the truck and AFTER you bring it back!! Take pics of the milage too, and anything else you can think of. The gauge, at least on the 15 truck, is not detailed enough to truly estimate how much gas youve actually put in, and even when you think youve put enough gas in to bring it back to where it was, they will mark it down as being less and charge you, and if you dont have physical proof that its wrong, then youre S.O.L! I was only charged $6.38, but thats after I already spent over $7 on gas when it was about $1.30 something/gallon. They would only give me a $10 house credit for this issue instead of putting money back to my credit card, but I wont need that since Im never going to use them again... Bad business and a lost customer over something small. Straight up greedy.

There are two major issues with this store:1- employees are not knowledgeable enough.2- They are mean!Very long story of our frustrating experience there! My suggestion is if you are renting anything else beside the truck or van, make sure you put them on separate contract otherwise you gonna have problems with employees here.
