I went to this place because my car was stalling during drive and I couldnt for the life of me figure out what was wrong.They took the vehicle and did some diagnostics and found my vapor lock issue I was having.For the diagnostics and the issue at hand, they were able to discover and solve in what I considered an appropriate amount of time. This was not a standard common issue on the surface. But they were able to troubleshoot, fix, and return it to me fixed in a timely manner.I would not only recommend, but I personally would be going back. And I am a hard person to please with mechanics. I have tried 6 different mechanics around Maryland and this is the first one I am like I will return

I had a weird tinny rattle coming from underneath my Lexus RX 350. I was pretty sure it was a loose heat shield - but it wasn’t. They did some really excellent sleuthing to discover the problem - collapsed honeycomb in a catalytic converter ahead of the final exhaust. They got me a third party part in two days and installed it in no time flat. I had my car back at something like 1/3 of the price of the dealership, AND they are really pleasant to boot! They’ve got themselves a loyal customer. They are my go to mechanics for everything not covered by the warranty!

Well it was my first time there. I bought my Mercedes in for a front axle and brake work. I was greeted nicely by Seth who was very professional. The place had a good feel felt very comfortable and Gavin was up front and honest. I was very satisfied with the work on my truck. Ill probably get all my repairs done here from now on and price was very reasonable. Great job guys keep it up.

Milford Automotive is a great place to go for car care, and I recommend them highly. I have been going to them for over 20 years. Not only are they professional and reliable, but they do good work and are honest. They will only do work that you ask them to do or they find necessary for car safety. In all the years I have used them, they have never “invented” a problem just to make extra money (unlike experiences I have had in the past at car dealerships). It makes me feel good to be able have a place to go where I trust them at all times. On my recent visit during the Coronavirus pandemic, I appreciated the extra safety steps they took. I hope they stay in business during my lifetime, because without them, do not know where I would go for my car service and feel at ease and not worry about getting “ripped off”.

Had my son’s truck dropped off there late on a Tuesday afternoon. The following morning I received the call from Seth that they had resolved the problem. The truck was not going into gear after my son and I had played backyard mechanic. Seth and his crew diagnosed and fixed the problem in a timely, affordable manner. He made me aware off the other issues that needed to be taken care of (without trying to sell me on getting it done right away). These guys are honest, affordable mechanics. And, they are right down the street! So nice to have a reliable neighborhood mechanic!!

Everything was fine with the repair...I opted to pay ahead of time and pick up my car after closing time. The spare key was to be left in my car since I had the main set of keys with me. I was able to pick up the car before closing, however, the spare key was not in my car. Good thing the office was open so I could get my spare key because I would have had to make another trip to get my spare key back.

Probably the most professional response from a car shop that Ive ever had.Its a thorny matter of excess oil consumption with a Subaru, and the shop (particularly Gavin) is well acquainted with this problem with certain Subies (as well as Beamers) which is known in the industry but not so much by the general public. As usual Milford Automotive does not disappoint. I have been going there for about 30 years. Everyone there is friendly and goes above and beyond.After all the years I spent comparing prices, I dont even do that anymore because theirs are always the best. They are trustworthy and thats so important. They tell me when I need something done and when I dont .With 207,000 miles on my honda I see them more often now, but theyve kept my car running since I bought it in 2004.

My very first visit to Milford Automotive and I was treated like a long term valued customer. My check engine light came on, and being as I was still looking for a new mechanic after my long term mechanic passed away I decided this time I would give Milford a try. I have found my permanent mechanic. Why? Because it turns out the company Id used for an oil change with a Groupon left the oil cap off! I was lucky. It was only an oily mess in the engine compartment and half a quart low, and the cap was even still sitting there on the ledge near the window! Gavin cleaned it up, topped off the oil, and didnt charge me a dime. Theyve got me as a customer for life.
