This was our first time here and it was great!Staff was friendly and the variety of doughnuts made me feel like a kid in a candy store!I got the chocolate donut with bacon and oh my gosh it was great! Not too sweet absolutely perfect.My husband got the coffee and loved it!.We will be coming here again.

We were the first customer of the day today. The young lady behind the counter was so sweet. We only got 4 donuts and a cup of hot coffee. My husband and I shared each donut. They were all amazing. We drink our coffee black with no creamer or sugar. This coffee was fresh and really good. Thank you goes out to the cook and the owners daughter for a great experiance while we are at the beach.

Had a Boston cream donut (amazing) and a cappuccino! The donut was soft, the filling not too sweet and amazing quality chocolate on top! With COVID they were limiting the amount of people in the store at a time so there was a line outside but it moved quickly! No seating but it is just a quick 5 minute walk to the pier where they had tables and benches to sit and enjoy your donuts and coffee!

Best donuts in the region. They have a very creative menu and incredible flavors. The only problem is that their donuts run out really fast. They open 6 in the morning, so if you arrive after 10 you may not find any. During the pandemic be ready to wait in line and bring your face cover.

I wanted to love this place. But I think I went at the wrong time. I travel the world to try donuts. Its a hobby. I have been to over 100 donuts shops in the country. Lets start with pros. Great selection of donuts. Great look to the donuts. The staff was 5 stars. Extremely friendly and helpful. I walked in and wanted to get one of each, but ended up with about 8 to try. The prices of their donuts is also very good. Cons. The staff missed a donut I ordered and paid for in the box, but I can let that slide. The biggest issue was that the donuts were not fresh. They were easily a day old or baked the evening before and put out first thing in the morning. Now I understand that most people would not be able to tell, or think that the donuts tasted great... well they were tasty. They had good flavor, but the cake and dough was dense which made the tasty donuts not enjoyable to me. I prefer fresh, same day donuts, that will melt in your mouth. I suspect that if you go later in the day you might get a fresh batch, but I may also suspect that they make their donuts in the evening, let them sit, refrigerate, then present in the morning and close when they sell out. Then Repeat. If you dont mind this in your donuts, then yes, visit them, they deserve the business for their efforts, but for me, Ill try some of the alternatives in the area next time.

Sweet tap dancing cripes. Best long john ever had. Choc ganache silky smooth, not grainy, not hardened, super pillowy donut all the way through. Wow.

Excellent donuts! I think many of the donuts they make are slightly lower in sugar than other donut shops in the area (I could be wrong about this, but to me they taste a bit less sweet). I like that they dont taste too sugary. That being said, their salted caramel donut is very sweet and top notch.

Loved the donuts here. My kids got the donut holes and chocolate bar donut. The holes were solid. I got the gluten free donut which was amazing for a cake donut. And they serve Stumptown Coffee!The lady who served us was also super friendly and sweet.

I enjoy coming to this Donut place for almost a year now. Donuts are bomb but when it comes to their coffee, its pretty inconsistent. I have always ordered the hazelnut lattes which was really good and creamy when its made by the owner. Hands down its better than any chained coffee shop.Today, for the fifth times my coffee was sour and bitter with no hazelnut flavor. The owner suggested to request for extra flavor when ordering lattes with light ice.From the beginning I have always requested light ice on my hazelnut lattes without asking for extra flavor yet it tasted good. I wonder what made it so different today and the other four occasions. Sadly, I dont think I will be buying coffee from this place anymore.

A most decadent find in a super awesome place to visit! We have lived on the Central Coast for 18 years, and had no idea this creative AM nom nom palace, existed. Delicious! Friendly! They even have Vegan and Gluten Free donuts.

The only donut shop in pismo so you have no other choice. We got there right as donuts were running out, so if you want donut variety, i think you need to get there before 9. Donuts were cakey, thick, so good if you like that. Knocking off a star for customer service.

My favorite donuts! Much better than any other donut shop in the area, especially San Luis Obispo. I just wish they would make more, their hours are until 11am every day or until they run out but they consistently run out before 11am. Seems like they should be making more donuts to last through the day. I know its a pandemic and all but it was like this before all this happened. Either way theyre still the best I just wish they wouldnt run out so often!

Get there REALLY early & you can order the Gluten Free doughnuts 😎. The rest are good with a few or normal flavors. Coffee is above average !!

Wow!!! Hands down best vegan donut Ive ever had. Almost every vegan donut Ive had before has been dense and cakey, these ones are light, fluffy, raised donuts that are indistinguishable from the real thing. I had a chocolate sprinkled and a salted caramel. Plenty of non vegan options too. Highly recommend!!

Must get the Chocolate Ganache doughnut! These doughnuts are soft and very delicious. Sure to win over the whole family before hitting the beach!

Surfside is a great little place to get unique and gluten-free donuts. Their buttermilk donuts are the best Ive had in the whole county and they always have different flavored fritter bites. You should definitely give them a try.

We visit about once a week and we would come in everyday if we could! Our favorites are the dirt surf, old fashioned, fritter bites, and salted caramel. Everything from the coffee to the açaí bowls are delicious! Come in EARLY for the best selection!

I come here often and its normally good. Today it wasnt. They didnt have one of the toppings for the bowl but they didnt say anything (I could have picked something else if I had known). They didnt compensate with other toppings either, the bowl looked really sad for the price. Also, it wasnt even well blended, the frozen strawberries were full in the mix. I also paid extra for peanut butter but it was nowhere to be tasted. Quite disappointing today.

Im not a huge donut fan but my wife is. My wife really liked her donuts and I tried their strawberry fritter. It was something different and it was good. What you would expect from a good donut shop.

I wasnt too impressed. Pismo tends to up the price, so I would go to a local place to get a better donut. Expect a line on Sunday.

Doughnuts were decent. However as soon as I walked in with my 5 year old and 7 year old daughters, who were so excited to pick out their own doughnut, the store owner kicked them out for not having a mask. She told me it is very important to “keep their customers safe”. This is quite ironic considering this lady is selling doughnuts. If I’m not mistaken doughnuts are not in the “safe” food zone. As a matter of fact I’m pretty sure eating doughnuts increases your risk of type 2 diabetes, obesity, and heart disease which will kill far more people this year than the coronavirus. Thanks for keeping people safe with your sugary, fatty, oil cooked doughnuts.

This is the best donut shop on the central coast the 🍩 was fresh and had no oily taste at all . I have not had a raspberry cream filled like this one most of the time theres just a squirt of jelly this one loaded to the hilt with the lobby jelly try some and you will agree if a 🍩 is your thing

Hands down the best donuts on the central coast! They have a varied menu, every day is something new. The seasonal offerings are amazing not matter what time of year. Dont forget to add some fritter bites that have a new filling each day. On top of the amazing donuts the coffee choices are fantastic. Also, the staff is friendly and welcoming which really brightens even the most morose mornings. A definite must try all around.

I visited a couple months ago and had to come here. They are SOOOO Good. BEST EVER. We are moving to Pismo (just down the street) right before New Years and cant wait to come here a lot! I work from home, so Im always on the lookout for a place to work from to get out of the house. I was about to go on Keto but reminded myself of all the great food Im about to eat. So, I will be walking everywhere to help with that. ;)

We came first thing in the morning to get their vegan donuts (not sure which day they offer these) and I am so glad we did. When we first got there it wasnt to busy so we were able to take our time and decide what donuts we wanted. We ended up getting one of each because we couldnt decide and they were all so good!! The staff was so nice and made really good suggestions as well. If I am ever in the area again I will be coming back here!
