We are a commerical general contractor and we use Houston Starr for most of our doors. They have a great PM, Jason Morgan, who goes the extra mile to make sure the order is correct and on time. He has done numerous site visits and his efforts have saved us a lot of money in install time. I highly recommend!

Amy measured and ordered our cabinets and countertops for our kitchen remodel and they are perfect. Pricing was great. She also set us up with great prices for our appliances. Unfortunately, our fridge is on backorder because of covid. But, thats obviously not her fault or Houston Starrs. In fact, she set us up with a loaner fridge until ours arrives, which was an awesome gesture and much appreciated. 5/5 for sure.

Great products and customer srv.

I stopped here making a commercial delivery in a tractor trailer. I had appliances, and hardware for doors Etc. I had to back into two different locations at the facility in two different buildings. That was not the problem, as I was unloaded fairly quickly, but it would seem that the attitude of the employees that work there was not quite up to par, it didnt make for a very pleasant experience. As a matter of fact, in seeing the interactions with some of their customers, I think I might want to steer clear this place and possibly because it one of the big box stores or maybe another vendor out there that can help the consumer! Mediocre at best!

I have worked with and purchased products from them for a number of years. I am pretty sure that Im not their biggest customer but they treat me as if I am. The sales staff and customer service is courteous and prompt. Deliveries are on time and easy to deal with. From top to bottom, this is a class organization and a pleasure to do business with

Houston Starr Company, as our door supplier has provided excellent service and supply of commercial and residential steel doors and frames. We can fax an order large or small any day and are able to pick it up at 7:30 am the next day. They have a massive inventory of standard and odd sizes of doors.
