Felt I had to leave a review because I had such a good experience. Had my windshield shattered on my civic with Honda sensing. I wanted the factory glass replacement, and this was the only place that made it really easy to order it. I also was worried about there being an issue with the calibration afterwards, but no issues so far and the repair was really well done. The guys at the front were really nice as well. Thanks!

So I made an appointment to have my front window replaced on my work van. As a business owner myself, I dont appreciate setting up an appointment, receiving an arrival time between 12 and 5pm, then get a call at 230pm only to be told that theyre pretty booked up and not able to make it out today. I rearranged my schedule to get this done, and even had to reschedule 2 of my own customers to make it happen, only to have my appointment cancelled, when I set this up 2 days ago. THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL.

Filed claim for a windshield on a 2020 Honda on the 28th. Appointment at a WVa branch the 2nd. Show up, they have the wrong part. OK. They reschedule it for the 11th in Pittsburgh at Frankstown Rd. Get a call day before to remind me. I ask specifically if they have they right part. I am told that they do. Show up, dont have the part. They tell me theyll make a special case of it for the 19th.Get a call the 15th. Cant find the part, date for install now up in the air, soonest will be maybe 26th, almost a full month after claim was filed. At this point, I lost faith in their service, booked with Ryans Autoglass, who immediately called me and got my VIN number (which safelite did not do at two separatestores), so they can actually get the right part. It might take Ryans as long to source it, but Safelite handled my claim terribly for a national chain with supposedly a large inventory and stock.

When my repair was completed, it still didn’t look right. I asked then to do it again, which they did and it didn’t look much better . This was a small spider chip . If you watch the commercials it appears that the repair will be undetectable. I was disappointed

Beware the Lou Costello looking one tried to rip me off!, i had a chip in my windshield i went online to get a quote, the price quoted online was $379 so I made an appointment for the next day when I showed up the windshield was checked and the technician claimed he did not have the windshield I needed, he insisted that I had a rain sensor (which I am positive that I do not have) then Lou said he would have to call around and would call me at home which he did, during the call he quoted me a windshield for $1200 plus install fee ???????. I told him I would look around and he hung up on me as I was still speaking. I then called the dealer service center and i was able to purchase an aftermarket windshield and have it installed for $575 i also asked if i needed a specific windshield for the rain sensor and would it cost $1200 and was told by the dealership that i did not have a rain sensor and it didnt matter they all (windshields) fit and cost around the same way less than $1200.

Definite five-star review! I had to have my windshield replaced after a run-in with a rogue rock. Because of the lane departure and other features in the front camera, I had to take it in to the shop for the windshield to be replaced and for recalibration. The waiting area was set up nicely, with an area for customers to watch TV, but I was really glad to see they also had a couple tables where you could sit and work. The staff was courteous and professional and had the install completed and looking great in less time than I anticipated. Just a really good experience from start to finish!

Got the winshield replaced a couple weeks ago. Called in with an issue, scheduled an appointment to resolve an issue with the winshield fogging up and all they could tell me is I was operating my car incorrectly. Poor service. Should have used the dealer.

Covid19 or not, forcing people to do things on line is not for everyone. It certainly is not for me. I was told that the company was trying to make people do things on line, from appointments to quotes, etc..Also, it was going to be less money if I walked back outside and placed my work order on line to repair my windshield than when I was already standing in the front office.I left and went across town to go to a place that was not only more friendly and more informative, but was 40% less money.Not a pleasant experience at all.This was at the Brentwood Route 51 location last week.

The tech was very nice and super helpful. He was right on time and waiting at my car before I even got out of the office.

This business exemplifies what vehicle service SHOULD be. I got there about 5 minutes early, checked in, and they took my car promptly into the shop within 2 minutes of my appointment time and began working on it immediately. I was quote 90 minutes, and it took 89. When it was done, the technician who replaced my windshield explained that I would need to get my stickers re-issued, and told me how much it should cost. He asked if I had any questions, answered the ones I asked, and was personable, yet professional. All this, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, to which they were well prepared to encourage social distancing, and the facility was as clean as my home. I could not have asked for a better place to replace my windshield!!

Went to the Brentwood location on Saw Mill Run. Had a 4:00pm appointment. Got a call before 5:00 that my car was done! The windshield they installed was better than original! The blue tint was better. The entire process took one minute when I dropped it off and one minute when I picked it up. Good Job!

I came here to get a crack in my windshield repaired after it got damaged by a rock. The waiting area was nice and the couch was super comfy. Staff were super friendly. The repair did not take long.

Service was impeccable. From The automatic system emailing me a photo of the technician in advance, to the text message/phone calls announcing an ETA to my house, to the service work, everything was professional. My tech, Brett, was affable and a total pro. Impressed by his demeanor and service. If I need any other type of this work done again, I want Brett doing the work.

After two chip repairs, my windshield got hit with another stone and just cracked and spread overnight. These guys had me back on the road with a great new windshield real quick. They even reattached my toll tags, cut out my old stickers and taped around them so they were safe. Nice waiting room, too.

CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!! I had safelite replace a windshield in my wrangler a couple years ago. When a crack developed starting at the edge it spread quickly towards the center (CLEARLY a stress crack) they refused to honor their lifetime warranty and wanted to charge me $600 to replace it again. Not likely. Ill go somewhere local this time where they actually do it right and stand by their work. EDIT: I love this response! Apparently the lifetime warranty only covers old damage...? I guess they mean my life to date, up to the day I bought the windshield. Anything after that is not their problem.

The employees I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. They did a great job replacing my windshield. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. I would use them again.

Found a small chip that cracked a little bit at 7:30 am this morning. I called at Safelite 9 am(after talking to my insurance agent) and they were at my place of business at 11:30 am an they were out the door before noon! The tech was quick, friendly and professional. The repair is perfect! I have no issues. Highly recommend.

Calling to schedule an appointment was great. They worked hard to get me in the next day and were very proactive about estimating cash out of pocket vs letting insurance handle, etc. Experience at the shop was great and the technician was extremely nice and took additional time to explain his thoughts and what all was needed to perform the work. My entire experience was extremely pleasant and I felt that every Safelite employee I spoke to was there to take care of me as well as feasible.

I came in with a chipped window and while the guy at the front desk wasn’t that knowledgeable about discounts, Brett was. They were able to save me money with my discount with my insurance and squeeze me in with no appointment. He told me 40 minutes and it was done in 38. I also had the tv and a comfy couch all to myself. I am very happy with my experience.

Newer Audi Owners stay away. I took my vehicle in to have the windshield replaced and recieve the necessary recalibration. The recalibration of my windshield was not completed. I still had to pay my deductible for a half completed job. From my understanding they didnt have the knowledge or the means to complete the job. Additional time and money will now need to be given in order to have this completed. I will never be back or recommend this location to anyone.

So elderly gentleman had a broken wind shield like he was in a car wreck. What had happened was he was driving and the hood at 60 mph. Had blew up and smashed into his windshield and it was really bad. So I called Safelite Auto Glass to get it fixed but they couldnt do it that day so he had to drive home like it was. I was kinda disappointed that they couldnt get to him till the next day when it was only 3:15 pm under an emergency situation. So I dont know what happened to him. But a week later I saw him dropping and person at were I had let him used my phone to talk to Safelite. So I guess they did the job right.

A few days ago, one of their mobile technicians replaced my window following a break-in. He was very conscientious about vacuuming up all of the broken glass and left the car in great shape.This morning, I put the window down for the first time since the repair. My god, the noise it made was terrible! I thought the window was going to break again. I grabbed my receipt and drove out to this shop, which the tech mentioned was his home location.The man at the counter took one listen to my window and immediately pulled my car into the shop. Some part of the mechanism was twisted around the wrong way. He spent over an hour, unscheduled, fixing it, even running next door to get a part from Advance at one point, because he didnt think it was fair to ask me to schedule an appointment. Then he apologized for keeping me waiting for so long. Then he asked me to wait a minute while he cleaned the glass until it sparkled.Cant recommend them enough.

It took just over an hour to replace my front windshield. The staff are very professional, and helpful. A good reminder that one can add glass breakage to ones policy for a few extra dollars.

Fast windshield replacement with Subaru Eyesight recalibration. My crosstrek windshield was special ordered, but they managed to get it in much faster than expected. They even managed to salvage my inspection stickers so I did not have to get new ones.

I had a crack fixed a few years ago. Recently the whole windshield cracked. Safelite honored the warrantee, and replaced the windshield. I was impressed with their ability to find the original work order.

Worst customer experience ever. Technician refused to come to my home to install the windshield due to it raining, even though the car was in a garage with more than enough space to replace windshield. Spoke w/manager who sent another technician to my home to replace the windshield the next day. Lost 2 days of work for this replacement. Almost forgot, manager said he would call me after the install was replaced, still waiting for this call 2 weeks later. Next time I will use another company to replace a window for me.

When I first saw my shattered window, my heart broke in more pieces than the glass now trapped in the crevice of my door. Somebody broke my right quarter panel window on my truck. I made an appointment with Safelite And they fixed it in no time. My sunroof was leaking at the time which had nothing to do with the window that was being fixed but they unclogged the sunroof and vacuumed my truck out to with no extra charge.I definitely will use Safelite again and I highly recommend them.

Nice work. But dont tell me over the phone before my appointment that you will replace the inspection stickers and calibrate the camera, when in fact you wont and cant do either. Referred by GEICO, and trust me, I called GEICO to tell them about this. They werent happy. Now I have to take the car to the dealer to finish the job.

I Needed a windshield for my F150 so I called around. Most places were more expensive, a couple even said Yea, we cant beat their prices... Made my appointment, picked my time, got a call 2 days before as a reminder, got there at 8am on the day of my appointment and they were waiting for me. Waiting area was comfortable, couch, couple chairs, big screen tv with remote next to it and 2 work stations. Their WiFi wasnt very good so I had to use my phone as a hotspot- not ideal but thats more controlled by corporate than local. They finished in about an hour & 10 mins, then came trying to pay for it. Yep- credit card machine works thru WiFi and it took forever for it to connect- again- a corporate issue. The guys in the shop were nice & friendly, very clean, & professional. I hope I never have to come back but if I do- Ill get my first estimate from Safelite...

I had my windshield done here Nov 2015 and the technician damaged my car during the installation. It took several calls, no shows, and no calls to get them to even respond to me. Of course when they looked at my car they denied all claims of the damages and all around refused to admit their mistake...Dont take your car here if you expect a quality service or a cheap price..the sad part is, Im sure the technician doesnt want to be written up or lose his job!! working for these crooks!!

The tech who repaired my windshield was a real nice guy. Although I dont think the repair was done correctly. There is still quite a bit of air left in the chip, I just hope my windshield doesnt completely crack, I guess Ill find out. What disappointed me was, that he never polished the resin after scraping the excess off, so the area where the chip was filled is foggy and looks pretty bad in my opinion. It only would have taken another three or four minutes to polish the area, not sure why he didnt.

They did an excellent job replacing my windshield. I felt confident in their ability; I was consistently updated throughout the repair. However, there was an issue with my insurance.I booked the appointment online and added my insurance info. But when it was time to pay I was almost billed the entire amount.They told me I didnt contact my insurance agent to process the claim. Im not familiar with insurance, because this was the first time I went through this process. I apologized for my error and they helped me with the claim (contacting the main company, my agent, etc.).Yet I later learned through my agent its Safelites duty to contact the insurance company. Their websites FAQ states, Do I need to contact my agent or insurance company before I contact Safelite? No, we can do that for you. Were experts at verifying coverage, filing the claim and handling all the paperwork.Their sincere kindness is the reason I gave 5 stars. I was grateful for their help, but a little upset the blame fell on me.

I had a horrible experience with the Safelight Auto on Frankstown Road, so I changed locations and went to Saw Mill Run Road where I received impeccable service. The tech was great, the scheduling was easy, the parts were all there and ready. He finished in less than the expected time and I got myself a great cup of coffee while I waited with the free wifi to use on my phone.

Got the OEM Windshield I wanted, and did a great job installing it. The guys in the shop were super chill and were more than willing to answer all the questions I had.

Safelite replaced the windshield on our 2013 Lincoln MKX in May. Less than 2 weeks later we noticed a significant water leak from the mid shield in the middle and too near the rear ore mirror. After taking pictures and videos of the water leaking into the car, we contacted Safelite who asked us to bring the vehicle by. They had a tech and their quality control manager Jake look at the vehicle. They identified the damage to the media hub and replaced the windshield. Afterwards we were asked to get two estimates to repair the damage. Both dealerships we went to suggested having the front seat pads replaced as there was a chance there was mold in the pad from the water falling onto the seat. Safelite refused to replace the seats without evidence that there is damage to the pads, understandable. However, safelite would not pay to have the leather removed from the seats so that the pad could be evaluated. They insisted that I pay for the leather to be removed from the seats, despite the fact that this never would have needed to happen if their windshield was installed properly and did not leak. I spoke to the district manager for Pittsburgh, Ken Callaway, who advised he is the final decision maker and they will not pay to investigate if they caused any further damage. I again explained that the only reason anyone needed to look at the seat pad to determine if there was water damage, was because they failed to do their job properly. When I asked to speak to Kens boss he told me he was the boss. After then questioning if Ken runs Safelite nationwide, he admitted no and said he could have his boss call me.All we want is for Safelite to own up to their error and determine all of the damage they caused to a vehicle that we had owner for 3 months at the time the windshield was replaced. Now they want the customer to pay $600-900 to determine if their failure to properly install a windshield, caused any additional damage to the vehicle.

Came in as a walk in for a chip in my windshield. They advised me to call my insurance for a claim, and itll be free. Ten minutes later I had a claim number and they fixed the windshield in an hour.
