Battery died in my 2008 Acura, and they are right around the corner from my house. The had a tester that tested the life of the battery, and it was bad. Purchased a new one, they installed it, and I was on my way. The employees were authentic and helpful.
Battery light came on while we were out of town for a baseball tournament, Not familiar with the area. Pulled in to this Auto Zone in Wilkensbug and Thomas waited on me. He came out checked my Battery, after Checking with The Manager Brian, they determined it to be the Alternator. Thomas has a friend Devon who came right over and installed the Alternator for a small fee. Very Thankful to have stopped here. Terrible customer service. Everyone I come here there is an issue. I purchased a rear turn signal light and they refused to put it in because it was drizzling a little rain, but it is 85 degrees outside. The employee stated they would get sick from it, meanwhile every customer is entering the store without a face mask and they arent saying anything to them. Isnt it more likely to get sick from one of them during a pandemic? Lol. 5 minutes later it is super sunny and hot. Before that I purchased windshield wipers and the employee tried to charge me to install them. I said isnt it free? And he replied, not anymore. Im done with the Wilkinsburg store. When I went to monroeville and told them what happened, they laughed and said the Wilkinsburg store is a joke. They really are.

I had gotten a flat tire up the road and pulled in here. They where extremely helpful. I wouldnt of made it home that night if it wasnt for Amanda. She had such a great attitude and customer service. Literally had my cashier have a conversation with another employee about getting him some chicken nuggets while he was going out during the transaction. He had my cash in his hand. The other guy didnt know where he was going, so this turned into a few minutes of conversation. My $20 bill is in his hand the whole time. Im like, dude, can you please focus? Can I get my change? Instead, nuggets. Not even looking at me. There are no effs to be given, ever, in this joint. And this was not my first bad experience, either.

This place needs to do a little bit better checking on the resumes of the people that are hiring my buddy stopped in a couple weeks ago to have a battery check and test the alternator he run the load test on the battery said it was fine well it still wasnt charging somebody ended up paying it to Midas it cost him $200 to get it fixed it was a battery who works in an auto place and doesnt know how to read load test on the meter I mean come on guys thats a really important part of your job

Customer service is lacking, maybe two people out of the entire staff were actively working.The majority of the staff seemed annoyed that customers were in the store.You ran sales but were out of stock on a lot of the items that qualified for the deals.Also, if I come down with Covid in the next week or two this was probably the place I was exposed.Some employees werent even trying to wear their masks anywhere near their nose or mouth.I live walking distance from this store, but will usually go to the auto parts store off of Ardmore BLVD over this one.This was my first visit to this location in years and it was as awful as I remembered.

Nice clean store friendly and extremely helpful attendants. They answer to the best of there ability. The lady is kick butt . The place could use more lighting in the back. The checkout had no room really kinda if there is people starts as you come thru the door.

Put my battery in for free. The woman who did it was great. Helped me choose the batteries re y, put it in, and was actually nice. Give her a job. They use temps. Ive been here before and they always have what I need and at a fair price.

A friend of mine went to get their battery replaced and was shocked with the terrible service she received. One of the female employees (more on the masculine side), refused her service because she said it would “take too long”. IN THOSE WORDS EXACTLY. Then, after being fed up with the disgusting way she was being talked to, my friend left and found her car dead in the parking lot. That same employee came out, recognized the issue, and then never returned to help after saying she would. Thankfully, my friend got help from a stranger in the parking lot, but who knows how long she would’ve been there had he not come along? She is new to the city and was greeted just terribly. This location should be ashamed of themselves!

Bought a new starter for my jeep and I took the starter with me for a core charge so I wouldnt have to come back later. I used my debit card and they put the whole amount on it then take the core charge off the return the cost of the starter and the tax.

I bought a battery from here, and they replaced my old battery for free. On top of that, the replacement was particularly difficult do to a previous shoddy mechanic -- Nigel took some extra time to undo the mistakes made by the previous mechanic and got my battery in securely despite the fact that it was more difficult than usual.Helpful staff and a clean store, Ill gladly be coming back to this Autozone for my future car needs.

I also feel that he helped me to get the best deal, as I was able to use my Triple AAA discount, and he was a nice guy to chat with while he was replacing the battery. I recommend this place. They are much more polite than Pep Boys.

The customer service is okay. Every time I go theres this one employee that doesnt know anything about anything. Luckily for him his co-workers always save him and come to the rescue. They also have voluntarily put things on my truck that I was going to do myself, just to help out. The store is big, clean and has what I need in stock 98% of the time, the other times they have no problem ordering exactly what you need.

They need more help. Bought a brake light bulb and waited forever after they identified the part and told me where to find it, but when I returned the guy waited on someone else, so just waited until he was freed up again. The other salesperson had to leave to install a battery that was purchased.

Why is this place always out of stock of EVERYTHING? I swear half the items on the the shelf are just an empty space. Anytime I go in there, for a common item, theres an empty space and I have to figure out an alternative. I get that the location seems busy anytime I go in there, but they would sure have higher sales if they had actually had items people wanted when they came. Its beyond annoying to make the trip, and nothing left. With that said, the employees here always seem patient and helpful even when juggling multiple customers.

Quit going to these hood shops or youre going to keep having hood problems with the hood mechanics. Every single one of them looks like they do not feel like working. And none of them know how to do anything. Go somewhere where they like to do their job

The staff there are very kind and pleasant. However, their job skill is not as good as their attitude. They kept me waiting for 2 hours for a simple light bulb change and finally failed. They dont even know whats wrong with it. I feel really disappointed and angry for having waited 2 hours for nothing. 2 stars only for their being nice.

Its always a mixed bag when I go there. Sometimes I gat a very nice and helpful person, other times I get an arrogant know-it-all who talks to me like I dont know anything about automobiles because Im a woman, and yet other times, like today, I get totally disinterested employees who dont offer to help, dont smile, dont really engage a customer even during checkout. Its just crazy.

Let me just start by commending Tay for all of the help she gave me. I came to the shop in need of a wiper and a headlight. She installed both for me without me asking, and was so courteous and kind the whole time. My headlight can be tricky due to its positions, I appreciate her sticking with it even when it gave her trouble....... especially in the 30 degree weather.The only negative part of my experience was the condescending (in my opinion) coworker of hers who came out and asked her if she “knew what she was doing”Thank you tay! You’re the reason I’ll be returning to this location

I couldnt imagine that this place gets a good rating. TERRIBLE customer service. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was there for at least 20 minutes to get a core charge credit. The person at the register didnt know how to handle the credit, so rather than kindly ask me to wait, he yells across the store for someone else to help him. And, of course no one shows. Waiting, waiting, waiting...and another guy shows at the register, who tells me to go to another register because thats where the credits are handled. I follow him there, and waiting while he 1) answers a store phone call while Ive been already waiting, and 2) TAKES A CALL ON HIS CELL PHONE FROM HIS MOTHER! Finally, another guy come over to help, and TAKES ANOTHER STORE PHONE CALL WHILE IVE BEEN WAITING. This guy didnt help either. He was wearing a different shirt from the other guys, and I HOPE that he wasnt the manager. He was terrible too! Everyone whom I encountered seemed that anyone coming into that store seemed like they were being burdened. Not one had any idea of what it means for good (at the least) customer service. Oh, and theres nothing fast about this place either. The employees here need to get OUT of the ZONE that theyre in. The owner should seriously consider taking a look at the employees at this store. Who reads reviews for an auto parts store? Probably no-one! My reason is to reach out to the management staff in order to make a change for THEIR business. These are the guys you have on your front line. Good luck!
