The staff at Mattress Firm are definitely the sleep experts! They were very knowledgeable & attentive. This was my 1st time shopping at a mattress store & I was nervous tbh.But they asked me what I needed & showed me products that tailored to my comfort. It was pleasant, white glove service from the moment I walked in til I left. Zero pressure. They were very transparent about pricing & not trying to get me to spend outside my budget.I didnt tell them my brother was a manager at Mattress Firm til the end & there were even more smiles.Great quality products & excellent service. Inappropriate behavior from the manager at this store. I didn’t want his personal cell and didn’t want to be asked out on date, I just wanted to buy a mattress. He insisted on telling me about his life, commenting on toe nails, and when I told him no I didn’t want to buy that day, he told me I was essentially crazy. When in reality I just wanted to get the heck away from him and purchase elsewhere. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate and the BBB. When a woman comes to buy anything, she does not want to be hit on and does not want your personal number secretly written on your “card”.

We ordered a mattress online that was set to be delivered in six weeks. The day it was supposed to be delivered they sent an email saying it would be delivered the next day. Then on that day they sent an email saying it wouldn’t be delivered for six more weeks. It was nearly impossible to get a human on the phone for customer service — they kept referring us to online service bots and it took many hours to get a refund.

I came in with my daughter to look at mattresses. The sales guy was so kind got us a really good deal on something that was available today! We had been to two other places and we where ignored at both came in and not only was he attentive he was so respectful of our needs. The warehouse guys had our bed ready for us as soon as we arrived! We will be back!

Other than the size of mattress, I had no idea what I needed, and I was even less certain after doing online research and reading reviews. I typically buy everything online, and figured I’d do the same with my mattress purchase. On impulse, I stopped into the Mattress Firm in Shadyside, where I was immediately greeted by Gwendolyn. I explained what I thought I needed and my budget. Gwendolyn knew exactly what to show me, and explained what the benefits were of two different sets. Under her guidance, it was a much easier decision to make. She crunched all the numbers to help me stick to the budget, and made everything, including mattress, box spring, mattress cover and delivery, fit my needs. Gwendolyn was super friendly, knowledgeable of her inventory and exceptionally customer-focused. Thank you, Gwendolyn—you’re a star! :)

I went to the store with a friend of mine‘s only to look for a mattress topper they only had them online but to find out from the sales person there they had a wonderful mattress on sale that was a equivalent to the top for but better and in a mattress and the sales person it was very pleasant friendly and patient with me the whole time which made it very easy for me so I would send anyone to the store for a mattress

Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our experience. We had been shopping online for a mattress and ended up buying our mattress here because of their help and service.

Quentin was SO helpful and very friendly to me and to my mom as I shopped for a new mattress. I gave him my budget, and he made sure he stayed within it. He was very patient, and he answered all of our questions. My plan was to look at other places after I went to Mattress Firm, but Quentin was so great, I didn’t go anywhere else. I’m so excited about my new bed!

Came in on 2/23/21 around 3:40pm. We had the best lady helping us out. Her customers service skills were excellent and we felt so welcomed. She was helpful and helped us find a mattress within our budget. Would recommend this place.

Ira was helpful in my exploration of mattress options that match what I want. As most sales people, he started with the most expensive mattresses but willing moved to others when I rejected those (too thick, too expensive). He took time without high pressure sales which I greatly appreciated. I was disappointed that the mattress in a box was not available and wouldnt be for a month. Still, we found another option that I am happy with. He then encouraged me to buy a mattress cover, sheets, 2 pillows set. (Again, the good salesman, but again no pressure.) While I wanted a mattress today, I am happy that one will be dropped off at my house in 2 days and I have gotten what I wanted/needed. I would go back to this store.

I tried out almost every firm mattress in the store, giving my feedback to Marie about how I felt laying on the mattress and having her watch my body alignment for any pressure points that might cause sleep problems. Maries analytical method made me confident that I ended up with the absolute best mattress for the way I sleep. And the results speak for themselves — for the first time in my entire life, Ive been sleeping straight through the night! Had an absolutely wonderful experience with everyone at the East Side Mattress Firm! I came into the store after having originally ordered a mattress from Wayfair and going through a terrible experience with their delivery service not delivering my mattress for two weeks, having just moved from Texas to Pittsburgh.I had the pleasure of being helped by Elizabeth M. at the East Side store, and she helped make sure I got my mattress as soon as possible (only had to wait 2 days!), and helped me get the best deal possible on my mattress and delivery.The two gentlemen that came to deliver my mattress, I believe were Julius and Austin (hope I got your names right!) were super friendly, and quickly got my mattress up to my third floor apartment, going through three flights of stairs through my outdoor entrance.Cant recommend them enough! Very helpful employees, and I am beyond grateful to finally have a mattress! :)

Went to Mattress Firm today and met John when we walked in. He was super kind and knowledgeable. Made us feel very comfortable with the whole process and helped us chose the best mattress for us. Gave us space when we needed to discuss and helped us decide what payment plan was best for us. Good experience all around!

The worker was extremely helpful and she let me stay in the store for about 3 hours. I wanted to give any honest review so I decided to wait to post a review..... here it goes. I stopped in mattress firm and worked with Kayla. She was very attentive, but not pushy. I spent a few hours in the store trying out options. Once I narrowed down my mattress Kayla then went over my foundation options. I decided to purchase an adjustable base and Im very happy i did! I wouldnt of considered it, but Ive been sleeping much better and it has reduced the discomfort of just laying flat. I highly recommend mattress firm in East Liberty and will be back for all my bedding needs! That Kayla really deserves a raise!! 5 star service all the way.

Purchased two beds from a wonderful sales girl Ashley. One for my mother and one for my daughter, they can deliver out of state so it was very easy to set up, and she gave fantastic service. Really helped to find a deal that didnt break the bank. When I need a new one for myself Ill be going back to her.

Kayla greeted me when I came in, explained the types of mattresses that were available and patiently explained what made each mattress unique. Her assistance when we came back to make a final decision was exemplary. the bed was delivered the next day with great efficiency and professionalism.

Came in with a rough idea of what I needed for a bed. Less than an hour later, Im walking out with a high quality, inexpensive bed with delivery set up for later in the week. The staff worked well within my financial constraints and sought to find a way to make the experience as beneficial and helpful as me as possible!

We were expressly informed by the sales representative at the store that if we did not like the mattress, it could be returned for a flat $79 removal and sanitation fee. I slept on the mattress for one day and decided to get a different sized bed, but was informed by MattressFirm customer service that the mattress could not be returned for 30 days, and after that only for a $149 fee. The dishonest representative misled us into a horrible customer service experience, and Im now trying to sell the mattress since it cannot be returned.

Sales person made it sound like we were in the wrong for preferring spring mattresses to foam. The mattresses all seemed more expensive than the nearby Levin mattress store which also has more helpful sales staff.

The bed I bought was good, but dont buy a pillow here. The model you can try out doesnt match the actual pillow you buy and if you complain they tell you the pillow will break in. One year later and its exactly as it was when I bought it.

Chose this location because its just two blocks from my job. I was able to get in and out quickly thanks to the knowledgeable and curtious sales team, in this case Marie, who helped me determine how firm of a matress Id like, as well as if Id want to go with the traditional spring, or foam route.
