We ordered a granite countertop for our kitchen a few months ago and had it scheduled for install. The salesman had a serious attitude and I wish I had followed my instincts and cancelled the install. The entire office staff is very rude and inconsiderate. The installers were very nice although they broke a ceiling light and offered no apologies. They offered us $50 off our balance so that we could replace it ourselves. Then I realized that the sink did not have any drains. We were never told about it and had to rush out and buy them. Very poor communication throughout the entire process. I will not be purchasing anything else from this company and I suggest the same to anyone reading this. There are better companies out there.

I just had granite installed. I have to say this was the easiest thing remodeling our kitchen. Lisa was terrific and took the time to answer my questions. I picked the slab I wanted 2 days later they were here measuring. The week after installation was done by Jerimiah and Eric I believe was his name. They were fantastic and answered all my questions. The job was very good, cleaned up and moved something for me that needed 2 men. They went out of thier way to assist. If you want granite countertops go to Troy they may not be the cheapest but they might be in your situation but I am telling you they are great!!! I recommend going to Troy atleast give them a shot u wont be disappointed.

We have bought counter tops twice at Troy Granite. There is a beautiful showroom to let you see just how beautiful their granite is installed. We had visited another place the first time and it was on the side of a road and very primitive! The gorgeous room settings Troy has shows just how gorgeous your kitchen or bath will look with their stone. There are so many to choose from also! We renovated our 1978 kitchen and everyone was amazing from the salesman in the showroom to the guy that measured and the installers were amazing also! So when we decided to build we said Troy Granite had to be where we purchase the granite again! Levent was the salesman and he made sure we got exactly what we needed. Then Marcello came out to measure...he was so detail oriented! What a wonderful representative of the company! Because it was new construction we were not certain of a good installation date and had to change the date several times. Troy Granite was super nice to us and worked with us to get it installed. Both of the installers were very knowledgeable and so nice to us! They are the experts in large islands. We have a 9’ one piece granite top on ours!We are repeat customers and we always recommend Troy Granite!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff with a large selection on stone for our kitchen that also came in reasonably priced.

We used their online tool to help select the granite that would highlight our kitchen. We called the next morning to ask if they had the one we wanted to see. Spoke to Lisa, told her which one we wanted, let her know we needed 70sf (2 slabs) and sent her a picture of our kitchen. She said they had 3 slabs, sent us a picture of the slab and even a quote. She even commented that she also thought it was a great choice. We went in that day to see it in person and yes, it was perfect however there was a big sold sticker on the corner of the slab stating 2 of the 3 were not available. We found out it was sold prior to our call. When we questioned this, Lisa and her manager proceeded to insult us by sketching our kitchen on paper as if there was any chance we could also buy the granite. We would have respected being told the granite was sold and left it up to us to come see what else they had but instead was lured in there thinking the granite we wanted was available and ours if we loved it. We are now grateful that the granite was sold because we would not want to work with a company that lied to us before we even purchased anything. Kevin and Michele

I was looking for a unique granite for my countertops. I visited several granite stores - was not impressed with granite or employees. However, when I walked into Troy Granite, I saw the beautiful granite I wanted - Atlas!The staff were courteous and professional. They installed it; however, I had bought the Moen sink which had the cutting board and other accessories. The granite extended a minute amount over the sink and could not accommodate the cutting board. When I called, Lisa immediately sent someone over to see what could be done. Today, they came and took care of it!!! I couldnt be more pleased.I would highly recommend Troy Granite, and the prices are great! Thank you Lisa and Keighley!

Prices are high but selection is much better than other places Ive looked. No one there was wearing a mask, makes me uncomfortable having them come to my home so ill chose someone else.

If you have concern for Covid - take your business elsewhere. All employees maskless. The woman who was assigned to assist us was visibly sick (coughing, glazed over eyes, stuffed up). It would be odd to come to work that sick in normal times, let alone during a pandemic. Will never return. Disrespectful.

This place is a definitely a 5 star, reasonable priced, quality installation. They have very professional installers who i cant say enough about. They just did a minor repair for me at no charge and other than the repair being done you wouldnt know they were here. Lots of attention to detail on cleaning up after. This review is about personnel, not product, since I will not be purchasing anything from this company.Saleswoman (can’t remember her name) was extremely pushy about granite over quartz, even after I twice said I did not want granite. Said she would stake her life on my liking this one particular leathered granite. I hated it but am glad I didn’t take her up on the offer and that she is still alive.She never called back with promised suggestions and photos of quartz I might like. Shocker.

Everything was explained to us in detail about granite and quartz. The selection was enormous but not overwhelming. We did not feel rushed or intimidated. My wife Angela and I purchased Quartz counter tops from Troy Granite. Everything about this company was TOP NOTCH. We went to just look at the counter tops available and walked through the ware - hassle-free. We asked for a quote on a couple different styles that we liked and were not pestered to choose an option and no push for an order. Scheduling the measurement of the counter tops and installation was extremely easy. When the employees came to our house they were very courteous and respectful. I had Troy Granite installed granite top on both of my properties. Their Sales folks were very helpful and it took only one week from the time I visited their shop until the counter top was installed! Plenty of selections at reasonable price. They also often have sales going for their exotic collections. You should check them out! Recommended!

While the end result ended up beautiful we did not have an enjoyable experience with Troy Granite. We were not told about the credit card fee they charge when quoted.. Then they were able to adjust the price to accommodate the fee. We had to call to get confirmations for measuring and installation (not them being proactive). We were told we would have a digital consultation after measuring and then got talked down to by an employee saying they dont do that for quartz (after we had it scheduled and confirmed)? The backsplash measurements were off and now we have to figure out how to hide the offset and large outlet holes that were cut and measured incorrectly.. For a company that does not have the best price youd think their customer experience would be better.

We shopped and evaluated every granite supplier and installer in a 50 mile radius. Troy was the only supplier who had the exact type and color granite (Red Brazilian)we were looking for. Customer service and Installation were second to none. Seams were perfect. measurements were perfect, the results...Perfect. They deserve the highest recommendation.

My boyfriend and I just had Black Galaxy granite installed today in our kitchen and bathrooms and couldnt be happier! Ertan was our salesman and point of contact and he was great! He wasnt pushy. We were stuck between 3 stones and he made a recommendation. We went in twice before we decided, and as neurotic as I am, he was very helpful and understanding of the huge decision! He wasnt in it to make a big sale or pushing the most expensive stone, he listened to what we wanted and gave sound advice. Unfortunately, I dont recall who came for measurements, but that gentleman was also wonderful and answered all of my questions and explained different options. He was extremely courteous and made it clear our satisfaction was his priority along with the end result being top notch. I wish I could recall his name! Angel and Angelo were our installers, and they were very professional, patient, and easy to deal with. Both are very talented guys who respected my home by laying down drop cloths and cleaning up after, and answering my questions. I was amazed that they were able to cut a notch in the granite next to a cabinet ON-SITE! We initially planned to have granite back splash on that one section to hide a gap between the counter and cabinet, but with that very tiny cut, we didnt have to! It was important to them that the kitchen be uniform. All employees who were at my home respected it and didnt rush. They wanted to get the job done right. I was also given a cutting board in my stone, which made my day! It was a sweet touch and something I can always keep! I wish I knew who to contact at the office to give feedback on these specific guys, so I hope it can be figured out from this review.Id highly recommend Troy Granite. So glad I chose troy Granite for our new countertops! I chose them originally because they were so close to our home, but everything from my initial contact to the installation went perfectly. After being frustrated with the choices at other granite locations, I immediately loved the selections Troy Granite had. They had more to choose from than any other place and their slabs were beautiful. The staff there is wonderful...from the front desk reception who makes sure you are being taken care of, to Hakan and Mike who took care of the order and in-home template. Mike went out of his way to show us how our kitchen template would look on the granite. He came out to the house a second time to make sure he had the measurement just right. The piece we chose for the bathroom was going to be a tight fit, Mike went out of his way to call several times to tell me exactly how it would work once they started to process it. He was right and it looks beautiful!The installers were such nice guys and did a great job. My kitchen and bathroom look wonderful. When we noticed a small chip/scratch in the granite on the kitchen island, I called to see if there was something I could do to seal it or treat it myself. They had someone out within two days to buff it out and to make sure I was happy with how it looked. They took care of everything. From beginning to end, they were wonderful to deal with!

Four years ago we heard that Troy Granite had a good selection and fair pricing. We selected them for a large kitchen remodel we did and the job was perfect. Since then we have gone back for two more bathroom vanities for other remodeling projects, and as usual the job is done right at a fair price. I hesitate to recommend contractors at times, but have not with Troy Granite. Every time I have recommended them to others they have not let me down.

We had a wonderful experience with Troy Granite. We had used another granite company in the past and had a terrible experience. Troy had an excellent selection and the staff was knowledge, friendly, helpful. We loved that we could see the full slabs and actually laid out our counter templates on the slabs we selected. We were very happy with the end product and would highly recommend Troy to friends and family.

Had chosen Troy Granite after reading many positive reviews. Was greeted immediately with a salesperson upon walking in the door. Able to order and schedule the measurements that day. They were able to have it ready for installation within 2 weeks. Since they were able to cut from one slab for my island, I was told there would not be any seams. Then the person who came to measure thought they would need to cut the island slab(needing a seam) in order to get it up seven stairs into my kitchen. Long story short, they were able to install the island without any seams. Our quartzite countertops turned out to be beautiful. Everyone we dealt with were extremely nice and professional. I highly recommend and would return for any future needs.

I just had Troy Granite install MSI Fossil Taupe granite counter tops. They honored the price they gave me several months ago (it took me a while to get my cabinets installed). Finished product is beautiful. Fast installation (both scheduling and on the actual install). Professional job by measurement guy and installers.

Yes, I heard and read negative feedback about Troy granite that effect me not to come here first. Left me epoxy with color for my part of project, I did install granite for master tub myself. That is the way you can save so I did. No one perfect but major part when everyone work to help each other. Troy forget to polish one side of my 30x5 piece but I gave wrong measurements on this detail for my project. As my Dad used to say.... “ these people are the cats meow.” Everyone I dealt with was top notch. They have replaced 4 bathroom countertops, a bar, a desk in my kitchen, and my kitchen with a center island. Great people, knowledge, prices, results. I shopped around the entire Pittsburgh area for prices on quartz/granite countertops for my bar. The prices at Troy Granite (for the exact same stones) were hands down the best. Also, what I had hoped for (but did not necessarily expect) was how amazing the service was. Levent and especially Lisa were incredible. They worked with my schedule to get things accomplished whenever it was the most convenient for me. They rectified a small speed bump that we had along the way as well.I encourage buyers to shop around. However, do yourself a huge favor and stop at Troy before you make any final decisions. The granite arrived on time and as expected. I visited several other granite providers and Troy Granite had the biggest selection by far, and my personal price comparison determined Troy Granite to be the best value. The install team made a slight adjustment on site and we are very happy with the result.

When it came to granite counter tops, I shopped and engaged about a ten local providers. Ultimately, I chose Troy Granite. I made this choice based on the people, the price, the customer care, and the overall experience.To a person, the people at Troy were all professional, kind, knowledgeable and courteous (from the reception area to sales to every fabricator I encountered walking the warehouse). Their facility, showroom and selection were the best Ive seen in Pittsburgh. My sales representative, Mumar, went above and beyond expectations..to the point of calling me and letting me know he was personally uncomfortable with a flaw they noticed in the slab I picked and rush ordering me a new slab and making sure I was completely satisfied with its look and color.The install team was great when it came to efficiency, information and the care they took to make sure the install was perfect and the rest of my newly remodeled kitchen and house was left unharmed (something other installers have not been so good with over the last two years).In all, Troy Granite is by far the best overall buying and installment experience Ive had during this whole project; I would recommend Troy Granite to anyone looking to purchase counter tops.

I had purchased Quartz for a center island on a new home build. The selection process was seamless. Once I was in my new home I noticed there was something wrong with the Quartz. I called on Matt Ozkok and they scheduled a visit to see if they could fix the issue. They could not. Within a month or so (because of my schedule) I had them scheduled to replace the Quartz with another piece I picked out again. They were scheduled to replace it this week, organized the plumber before and after the installation and within 24 hours I had a new beautiful countertop! I have had many issues with my new home because of the builder that are not resolved after a year but Troy Granite fixed the issue immediately. Their installers were professional and were in and out in less than an hour leaving a beautiful result! I cant thank Matt and Troy Granite enough for a NO HASSLE replacement. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

In the wake of an aborted big box experience, our dealings with Troy was true redemption from top-to-bottom. We had been in the market for a unique stone for our kitchen countertops (73 square feet) and found several in Troys extensive inventory. Ertan was very customer-friendly during the sales process, and the staff was excited to work with us as it was the first installation of a unique marble slab. Its all good when they are getting your business but, if there is a problem like the countertops are measured wrong and are to small for the space, good luck. I left multiple messages and finally when I did get a person, I asked to talk to my salesperson. I was put on hold and the person came back and asked for my name which I refused to give. Six hours after I initially called I did talk to my salesperson and was told she would get back to me before she left for the day. That did not happen. I called fifteen minutes before they closed and was told by a man who sounded irritated that I was calling, that she and all the managers had left. So here it is, tomorrow is a holiday, I have my contractor and plumber scheduled in four days to finish the project and house guests coming the day after. Clearly they do not take pride in their work or ethical business practices. This was the first and last time I will ever do business with this company. There is a lot of high quality competition in the area....I would seek them out.

Awful customer service. We were told our job would take a full day and they would need to start right at 8am. Our one day job turned into a 3 week job. By 9am when they werent here we called- we were told they were on the way. By 10am they still werent here- we were told they were loading the truck. What?? I thought they were on the road. They finally show up at 12 and dont even have all the pieces. So we call again to find out what is going on- every time we call a different person answers the phone and has no idea what we are talking about. So frustrating to keep being put on hold while they try to figure out what is going on. When the guys get here they tell us they couldnt find the keys to the truck and had to go and rent a U-Haul. I wish someone would just be honest. We ask if they will still be able to finish the job in one day- they tell us yes. The guys work until 8:30 at night and are not able to finish. So they cant return for a week. Again they are super late- they arrive at 7pm. Of course they cant finish again and they break some pieces. No one calls us the next day to schedule them to come out again. Once we finally call them they tell us it will be another week. So we start to complain and the receptionist gets defensive and starts saying dont shoot the messenger. And the guys they sent to the house seemed like hung-over college kids- they could care less about the job or our home. It was an awful experience. We paid $5000 and we treated like crap. Avoid this company at all costs.

I own a cabinet refacing business and build custom cabinets. My business consists of updating kitchens and regularly need to update countertops. I regularly work with Troy Granite as my main countertop supplier/fabricator. They supply very high quality options at very reasonable prices. They always provide my jobs with quality installs. I have worked with alot of countertop companies in my career and Troy is at the top in regards to fabrication, installation, price and service. Troy Granite is always great with my customers as well. If you are in need of a new countertop, I highly recommend them.

I visited their showman and viewed their granite. The show room was nice, and they had a large selection of granite. I decided to go with Monte Carlo and placed an order. The measurer came and was very nice and appeared to do a good job. I selected my slab via the internet and set an install date. Things got very bad from that point on. The installers arrived, and one introduced himself to me. Unfortunately, his name was the only English he spoke, the other spoke none. There were several issues during the install. I could not communicate with them and that was a problem. They tried asking me questions by pointing and gesturing. During the install I noticed the backsplash at the end had a half-inch gap from the wall. I tried to ask about it and again they gestured, and I could not understand. I called the office and was assured the installers spoke English, but besides his name I did not hear a single English word. After I complained about not being able to communicate with the installers she said she would send someone who is “100% American” if I wanted. The office had someone who spoke their language call me and then the installers, and the problem were eventually figured out. They completed the job and left, leaving behind all the job debris on the floor. I wish that was the only issue. The big problem was the quality of the granite. After letting the granite dry overnight I took a close look the next day. It had what appeared to be caulking on the granite. I called Troy to ask how to remove and was told to remove with a razor blade. It was then I realized it was embedded in the granite. There is also a section that is severely discolored and looks like paint was spilled on it and smeared into the finish. It does not look like the granite I selected and has flaws that were not apparent to me, but Troy had to see when finishing the cutting. I called to complain, and someone was sent out to look at it. He pretended to look closely, but did not see a thing, and said it was perfect. He said my salesperson would call me but he never did. I think a blind person would see what a terrible job it was. I asked Troy to replace and was told I was trying to get something for nothing. I only want what I paid for. I believe it should be replaced, but Troy did not care what it looked like. I am going to have to find a reputable dealer and replace it, it is not suitable for use. My advice is to avoid Troy Granite at all cost.In response to the owners response - do not believe a word the owner said. He is blatantly lying about the installer speaking English to the district manager in front of me. Phone call records will show that. He must be a very dishonest person to lie like that.. He also wants you to believe they did a great job. Look at the picture. A picture says a thousand words.

My wife and I decided to upgrade our counters with granite. We checked out Troy in Pittsburgh and was amazed at the depth of their assortment. Pricing was terrific, no pressure from sales staff, but once the commitment was made installation orccured in two weeks time. On the day of installation, two men installed approximately 60sq. feet of granite in about six hours. The job looks fantastic...we are extremely pleased. We would definately recommend them to anyone looking for granite counters.

Had a new counter top and tile backsplash installed this week and I couldnt be happier. The sales manager Ertan was very helpful throughout the process. The counter top installation was done as expected and on time. I was extremely impressed with the tile contractor, Jeremy, from Gitzen Tile. He was professional and courteous and extremely helpful when he came to my home to discuss what I wanted. His work was exceptional and he really took the time to explain everything to me. The one very small issue I had he resolved the very next day. I texted him and he came right over! I recommend Troy Granite and especially Jeremy Gitzen to anyone looking for beautiful and professional work!!

They have the best selection in Pittsburgh .They were all helpfull during all process including slab selection and installation . Bruno and Jeremy finished job well done . Me and my wife are verysatisfied . I am recommending Troy Granite.

We were not happy with how the finished product came out. This was due to the color not matching as well as the durability of the counter top we purchased. We attempted to swap it out for a different countertop and they proceeded to tell me wed have to purchase a whole new one for 4400 bucks and that theyd throw in a free sink. What a great deal right? The management here doesnt value their customers and they fail to remedy any problems. They had the nerve to tell me that theyd just throw our old countertop in the garbage... Not like we didnt just pay almost 4k for it... I think their install team is great but the management along with the quality control is really lacking. Extremely disappointed I would avoid them, there are plenty of other counter top places.In response to your response.Our complaint was due to the color in part yes... but also due to the staining of the countertop. Youre right you did attempt to fix the problem by offering to do the whole job again for another 4k. There is a warranty that comes along with your countertop but its nice to know that you do not back it. When you have the nerve to say youd throw stone away in the garbage.... To get us to spend more money there and insult us at the same time is crazy. Youre welcome to believe that you did everything in your power to fix the problem but the reality is you havent. You never took the time to find out why we were unhappy or why we needed to change the countertop, but now because we posted about it in the reviews section you have to respond. I am really disappointed in your management along with your fulfillment of your warranties. I stand by my recommendation to avoid this place and find another granite company.

My neighbor kept telling me about this place and couldnt believe how amazing their selection is. The most beautiful stones and hundreds of colors all indoors! Baker promptly answered all my questions, and was able to set up purchase and installation very quickly. He is friendly, courteous and professional. Mike and Mumar measured everything perfectly .I must have called 50 times to bother them with questions and they answered every one of them and never sounded frustrated or annoyed. Chris and Edward came to install the counters for me. They arrived on time and left everything clean. I had a seam for the L shape counter and he did a great job fitting it. I had and undermount sink and it looks great. Their website is incredible and gives one confidence that one is dealing with a competent company.I am very Happy with my New Granite counter top, Waiting for my Tax return to do my BathroomThese guys are the best! We went to Troy Granite to buy countertops for our kitchen. We met with a guy named Onar. He said that he would come to our house to measure the kitchen that following Monday evening. We received a call that Marcello, not Onar was coming to the house and was running late. Marcello arrived and was very nice and professional. He gave us a quote. On Thursday, I was able to go down and meet with him to select the granite. Unfortunately the slab we were considering was sold, and there was more product behind it. Marcello told us that he could not move the slab today, but to return on Saturday morning. I asked him what time. He said 9:30. He said that they dont open until 10, but he will be there. Saturday comes and we arrive at Troy Granite around 9:10 (a little early). The lights are on, people inside, and the OPEN sign is on. We walk in and ask for Marcello. They say, We dont open until 10. If youd like to wait in your car or look at the inventory, youre welcome. My wife and I chose to wait in the car. At 9:30 we walked into the yard to see the granite. (Now that it is supposedly moved). The granite was not moved. We went back to the car and entered the store at 10am. When we asked to see Marcello, we were told that he doesnt work today. We explained the situation, and a salesman asked me to show him the granite. I walk him back to the granite we had selected. He said that he would not be able to move the granite today, that I should come back another day. I explained the situation again. He said that he would talk with the manager. When the salesman returned, he said that he could move the granite, but it would be about another 1/2 hour. It was disappointing because we left the house early to come down to buy our countertops. Now it seemed that no one cared, and we were an afterthought. I guess I would have expected a manager to come over, apologize, and offer solutions. No one looked at our quote, no one even asked our name. So we are going elsewhere today to buy countertops. I suggest that you do the same, if you dont have hours and hours to deal with purchasing granite countertops. If you have unlimited time and patience, and dont care that they dont care, this might be your place.To the management response: Thanks for reaching out by responding to my review. You, nor your staff called me, texted, or emailed me to try to even attempt to make things right. This response is to make people online feel better about purchasing from you. If you had really cared, you wouldve reached out to help me.

Had a very small piece of granite (about 4”x2”x5”), needed to polish, went to 2 places that deals with the granite in my area, both gave me a prices of $75 and $120, and I should leave the piece and come back in a week. I came to Troy granite, 20 min, they gave it back to me, asked how much? A guy said “no charge” - he said it is a curtesy to the customer.They made my day,Thank you, guys!

I would highly recomend Troy Granite to do an installation. The entire process was seamless. I had a top ordered from another company and they kept dragging their feet so I was looking for someone that could deliver fast. It was 15 days from the time I called Troy to today when they installed my top. They have options top fit all budgets ($-$$$$) and the product is NICE. Their showroom was awesome and the selection is huge. ALL employees where professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Erin was wonderful, my wife and I happened to be in the area and stoped by to see our template and she got an emplyee to layout or countertop so we could pick the pattern on the slab that we wanted on the focal points. Chris & Ed the installers where very professional and neat. I own my own company and work all over the US. This is the type of company I like to do business with. I found Troy Granite after looking at granite slabs for about a month. We had to choose a stone to get our kitchen finished and get moved in before Christmas, but I hadnt found just what I wanted. Well, I found it at Troy Granite. Lots of granite to choose from, and they had some gorgeous stone that I couldnt find anywhere else. After some communication glitches, Baker came through and guaranteed me an installation date that gave me just enough time to have the appliances installed and move in. He came out personally and did the template. My husband wasnt sure about the templating process because Baker didnt use a laser like the other fabricator, but it worked very well. Baker pointed out a charming little curve in the cabinets that we hadnt even noticed, and he recommended that the granite be cut to follow that curve to show it off. It made the granite fabrication harder to do, but he thought it would make all the difference in the finished look, and he was right! (The other fabricator hadnt even mentioned it.) The countertops were made and installed beautifully and on schedule. The installers were personable and professional - nice guys to have around and did everything very well. Two undermount sinks, a bridge across the back of our cooktop, and a large seam - all handled beautifully. Can you see the seams? Yes. But Im very happy with the results. I picked a flowing granite and wanted the middle part of the slab in a particular spot that made matching the seams impossible. But the granite in those spots flows together well and unless youre looking for them, you wouldnt notice.the seams. The backsplash flow is excellent, the sink cutouts very well done, gorgeous ogee edging - woohoo! And were in our new house! Thanks Baker and everyone at Troy granite for topping off our kitchen so beautifully!
