My family and I visited Wildcard Gifts recently during our first visit to NYC and enjoyed a very pleasant experience. The prices were competitive and reasonable with lots of NYC flavor to choose from. The owner was very engaging and cordial and even suggested local cuisine to consider. Unfortunately, we had already eaten, so we’ll have to try the local eats another time. Again, the owner was quite cultured, hospitable, welcoming and engaging which made for a very pleasant visit NYC visit. We will definitely visit this store again!

I absolutely LOVE Wildcard. Its my go to place for gifts. They have so many Pittsburgh based artists and other independent products as well as some bigger producers like Rifle Paper. They will also do complimentary gift wrapping which is so fun. Follow them on social media for new products and cards of the day. Pre-COVID they would hand write a letter in response to every one they received and enter your name in a drawing for prizes to celebrate national letter writing month in April. Fingera crossed that they start that up again in 2022! I seriously cant say enough good things about this store!

This place is the coolest gift shop in Pittsburgh. I promise.Ive been going here for years and years, always ogling and inspired by all the cute things inside. They always have a bunch of new things and their cards and gifts are some of the most unique. Nothing you can find in a big box store.They support artists and makers, especially local ones. This is so huge.Recently I started up my own handmade/art business and have begun to sell my things there. I have the experience of working with Wildcard and being an avid shopper. Wildcard is a great little stationary store in the heart of Lawrenceville. It has everything youd expect: cards, wrapping paper, prints, candles, pins, etc. There is even a small collection of Pittsburgh-themed t-shirts way in the back, if youre looking for something a little more unique than the standard souvenir, or shirt from the Strip.

Tons of unique gifts, many of them Pittsburgh themed. I love their notebooks and their stickers especially. Some items can be a little pricey but everything very good quality and you’re often supporting local artists.

Best place to buy really fun high quality gifts to bring home from Pittsburgh, for your loved ones or yourself! Found not one, but three different pierogi tea towels, so tempting, I bought two! Really love the custom and very true-to-Pitt items here in this store. Youll find the perfect gifts for loved ones or friends that may live far and abroad. The shirts are witty and there are tons of different greeting cards and other small gifts as well. The staff is pretty helpful and more than polite. You can tell everything here is made with love.

This shop has some adorable items! It is a must go for all cat lovers. They also have super neat holographic postcards which my penpals always appreciate!! My only wish would be for the holographic postcards to be available in value packs as they do add up ($3 a piece) and theyre very addicting!!

It’s nice to be able to get unique things that you would usually get on something like Etsy, handmade or locally made goods, but without paying shipping and it being in such an easy location if you live in the neighborhood.

This is a great little card shop. Its packed with goods from local makers as well as all you could ever want of Pittsburgh souvenirs and novelties. The card selection is perfect. Not overwhelming but hardly sparse. This is a good all around gift and card shop for quirky Pittsburghy gifters.

I live in Lawrenceville and have shopped a few of the local small businesses. Most of the merchants have been very nice and welcoming. However that wasn’t the case when my daughter and I stopped in to Wildcard after enjoying a great meal at one of the nearby restaurants. This was my 1st visit to the store and loved everything about it except the lack of a “hello” from the staff.What keeps customers returning to any store, restaurant, business, is good customer service. Unfortunately we didn’t experience that during our visit.I’ll return to make a purchase, but should I experience the lack of customer service, I won’t return😲.With the hate messages being spread throughout the neighborhood, I would think, the merchants would be more enthusiastic about making their customers feel welcome.

The items are not really unique, i can get everything from the other paper shops downtown.
