I got the “Cancer constellation” parfait which had cream puffs, a shimi choco stick that looked like a churro, star cookies, whipped cream, and soft serve cream drizzled with chocolate. It was quite good and I was thoroughly enjoying it but was surprised to find at the bottom of the glass there was fruit jelly or something similar mixed with the cornflakes and it didn’t quite go well with the chocolate taste and overall theme of the parfait. I would have preferred banana or something rather than super sweet random fruit jelly.My friend got the coffee ice drink and it was very good and sweet. The portions are larger than I expected so one parfait and drink can easily be shared! Cannot pay separately at the register so be prepared for that. The ambiance of the cafe is truly magical. Will return to try other parfaits!

A great place for a rest and sweets or a small snack, overlooking a busy intersection. I did not receive an English menu, so we were just guessing at what to order based on pictures. The ice cream we ordered came out looking just like the menu photos. Of course, we did gather that the menu names were inspired by, the Milky way. Great atmosphere with 80s music in the background. Staff were friendly and the prices are reasonable. Seating is comfortable and spacious, and if you got a table next to the window, great for people watching as you chill. Be careful not to walk into the cafe downstairs! It is on level 2.

Why do people think this is good? It’s like America and Japan got together to produce the most tacky cafe the world has ever seen. They put CREAM in their tea, and the hot chocolate tastes like water. You’re better off cooking at home.

Unfortunately, they didnt have an English menu, but the menu features plenty of photos, so you know what youre ordering, in general. The parfaits themselves were fairly tasty, and they certainly looked great. The cafe also features a fairly good view of a major crossing near Ikebukuro station.

Stumbled upon this place after walking out the station and was very pleasantly surprised. Even though the food specialises in desserts, quality wasnt sacrificed from any of the food that we ordered from the main menu.The specialty drinks are on the pricier side (600-900¥), but its what you come to expect from a themed restaurant.The staff are very polite and friendly, and an English menu is available.

Unfortunately, they get the horoscopes completely wrong in term of month ... Maybe thats their personal sarcasm :p? You can see the cafe on the second floor from far.

Staff were super nice and they were kind to let me use birthday candles on my dessert. Melon float was full of flavour and dessert had everything you could imagine. English menus, no smoking in the cafe and nice views out to the busy streets. Would go again tomorrow if possible :)

The location and atmosphere are both very good. However, I wasnt impressed with the food or price. Portion size was a little small (which is OK), but it just wasnt very good, especially for the higher price. Definitely a decent place to go and chat while having a drink though.

Came here on a Saturday and it was very busy. You have to write your name on a list. We didnt have to wait long, less than 10 minutes.Once we got in there was iced water on the table. The waiter took our order and it came out quickly.It is a cool themed cafe if youre interested in star signs. They offer parfaits based on your star sign. You can order savoury food here too.If you have a sweet tooth, youll enjoy this.This place wasnt for me though.

This place is so wonderful! I love stars and they really stick with their theme. I had ordered an iced drink and an ice cream and the drink was in a star shaped glass and the perfect amount of sweet and the ice cream parfait, which you can choose according to your star sign if you wish, was so beautifully created and also so so tasty. Cute cafe in a great location. Decorated beautifully with blue lighting and cute decorations this is a fun place to visit. The selection of parfaits are diverse and well priced. However, the staff there is quite rude. Our server specifically, a older young man, was very curt and unfriendly in our service. At one point whenI tried to charge my phone using the outlet under our table we were told that wasn’t allowed quite harshly. I would go back again for the desserts, but definitely not for the staff.

I had coffee and parfait here with my friend during the rainy season. We sat by the window and sat there for a long time watching the busy intersection it overlooks. The coffee was OK, and the parfait was beautiful, but overall the high price is justified by the nice view and the throwback 80s decor.I will definitely go here again!

Everything tastes fresh and light. After so many heavy, big meals in Tokyo, it was nice to relax at Milky Way. Their sandwiches are good, and their sodas are even better. I highly recommend the melon soda (its green and sweet!). The staff are friendly and attentive. The view of Ikebukuro is perfect for people watching. One of my favorite places to eat in Tokyo. No-pressure dining.

Spotted this on our way into Ikebukuro and had to go in, since Im a big fan of space and astronomy.The food was good. Served fast and fresh. The staff were very friendly, and adapted very quickly to the fact that my wife and I only know very elementary Japanese.

Loved their desserts! The only downside. We went on night and then I returned with some other people the next afternoon. The same parfees were made slightly different within a day of each other. The day ones being cooler looking.

The desert I got looked very fancy and beautifully decorated. It was mostly fruits, with some jello pieces, 2 star cookies, and mochi ice cream in the center. In comparison to American desserts, it wasnt too sweet or fatty, and tasted great!

The location is great, the setting is pleasant (cute astrology themed place mats and cutlery). Both savory foods and parfaits are really pretty to look at and the taste is better than average, though theyre slightly expensive (parfaits and sandwich plates cost about 800 yen)They have a point card: you can collect points to get some of the above mentioned cute cutlery, but itll take many visits to earn that lovely star-shaped teapot.Downsides: when crowded its really loud, hard to make conversation. You also cannot share the bill (no betsu betsu) and cannot share desserts.
