First let me start by telling you that Ive never been to and Im professional establishment like this with the way they treated me. Id also like to add that if I could give them zero stars I would. I went there with my little boy. He was looking at the menu as I stood back and waited for him the choose. Then a 16-year-old girl comes out from the back and says maam you and your dog need to leave not once does she ask me if my dogs a service dog, She wasnt polite and saying could you please leave, nothing like that. Id also like to add that she said this is a restaurant you cant be in here. So I said oh, but my dog is a service dog. In front of five other customers she rolls her eyes and says Yeah right. At this point I pull out proof which is not necessary at any other establishment Ive ever been to. Any other establishment! I cannot stress that enough! I am filing a complaint and my son and I are never going there again. Which is really sad because thats right down the street from our house and we were there all the time. Lot of the other workers knew me. My son and I would go there once a week. Such a shame to treat people with a disability and people in general so badly very disappointed in dairy Queens choice in hiring. I forgot to mention we didnt end up ordering anything and my son left there in tears. She ruined our evening and there were no other shops open to get him ice cream.

This Dairy Queen is always so accommodating and the staff is so nice! Tonight we had a scavenger hunt and DQ was one of our stops. The scavengers got their cool treats super fast. Everyone was all smiles. I was stationed outside for a couple hours waiting for the different groups. I witnessed the staff diligently cleaning tables between patrons. Great service and very clean.

An American staple of ice cream and desserts. This location opens after 4pm though... in middle of summer. Very sad that its understaffed, but so is everything else. I dont blame them.

I bought a birthday cake for my mom ($26.99 for 10 cake). It is a little expensive, but worth it. The cake was delicious. There are cheaper versions ($23.99 for 8 and $18.99 for log cake). The service was prompt and friendly. The employee even asked if we wanted the Happy Birthday message personalized, which we did. It took only a few minutes to add my moms name to the cake. The place is clean and there are COVID protections in place with plexiglass up. Easy parking right in front of the store. It is small, but enough parking. Easy to find and easy to get in and out. Ive had blizzards and cones from this store too and always enjoy them. Almost always a pleasant experience.

Ordered an iced animal cookie blizzard.Pretty much got vanilla ice cream in a cup.Not a crunchy bite in sight.Pass!!

I got a large Sunday ice-cream and the toppings were very sparse. 2 little pieces of pineapple, 2 little pieces of strawberries and a small amount of chocolate. The banana and ice-cream portions were fine. Im not asking for an excessive amount, though I think it could have been more than it was, very sad. Ive been noticing portion decreases over time, but now its ridiculous.

Closed early again. Google says 7pm... the sign on door says 7pm. Walked up just now at 6.05 with a white sheet of paper saying closed, cleaning machine watching the young guy sweep and the girl stocking cups. My work closes at 6. My boss leaves at 5. I would love to lock the doors early to go home but i cant. Maybe i should get a job here.

Went to this location 2/25/21 to get an ice cream cake for a birthday. The hours on Google showed they closed at 8pm. The hours on the door showed the closed at 8pm. It was 7:20 and they were closed. All of the employees were still there. We were told they closed early and the girl said they changed there hours for the day and she didnt know why. This seems to be a pattern.

If you love real ice cream, or you’re a vegan who doesn’t want to give up cold confections, then Dairy Queen (Treat)is the place for you! Good, old fashioned, rich and creamy ice cream with many flavor options and options as well that are rich and creamy. Perfect group outing for delicious sweet treats. It can get crowded, especially in the summer, so plan a ahead then enjoy!

I only like the cherry dilly bars and you are always out. I go once a week to get some and there are none. Order more, it is not that hardUpdate went again no cherry dilly bars. Follpwed up with the link they commented still nothing. Thats all I want from you are cherry dilly bars why cant you get them??

Sieona deserves a raise

If I could give you zero stars, I would. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday that was supposed to be picked up today between 4-5:00. We got there around 10 to 5:00 and to our surprise the store was closed. You’re supposed to be open until 7:00. Not only that, but you could have at least called to let me know. Be professional! I understand things happen, but let your customers know who have orders to be picked up. You ruined my 11 year olds birthday. I had to go buy another cake somewhere else and now I’m out that money.

No real place to sit and eat if its at all busy. A few benches out front. No indoor seating right now.

Had lovely expiriences with them in the past. Good ice cream, fine customer service, lovely ice cream cakes. I have not visited since the pandemic so I do not know anything about their safety procedures but no reason to complain about anything Ive expirienced yet!

I gave them 5 stars in early Oct 2020.Visited again late Nov 2020.Used app, sat in car 15 mins, no notification order was complete.Went inside waited for assistance.Clerk came over, didnt know anything about the buy 1 get 1 free.Order had not been started.Then took customer behind me and completed there order first.Our order was for 4 blizzards, costing $20.Wasnt able to receive a paid receipt.This experience was a super big disappointment.This was on Fri at 3pm.Only 1 clerk for entire store, said she just started, couldnt assist with APP coupons. I only used app for buy 1 get 1 free.Likely will visit the Washington Pike location in Carnegie by Aldis.That location *always* offers a coupon to get the best deals, which is much appreciated.

Today I stopped in for a meal. I got the grilled chicken on a ciaboti (sp) bun with chips and a drink . I loved the bun! Soft and just right size. Nice value for the meal.

Whats there to say about great icecream

Closed at 8:50, when online and on door says 9. It’s Saturday night and they wanted out early; I get it, but it’s 10 min and I was the only one in the parking lot. What made the matter so immature, was the fact they rush to lock the door. Then proceeded to flash the lights as a taunting matter. Maybe the owner should place more mature staff to help with closing. Yikes bad business.

DQ rarely does not satisfy and this location is no exception. As always its delicious. The staff was friendly and works well even when theyre busy. The parking is pretty solid too.

Definitely one of the best DQs in Pittsburgh, especially for ice cream cakes; nobody makes better cakes than this location. Their other treats here are always adequately portioned and served, no real complaints there. Employees are usually nice and friendly.

Never have I ever had such an anxiety inducing ordering experience. Why was there 5 people staring at us at the counter when we were ordering? Like immediately when we said something, someone was making it before we had a chance to change our minds or talk? And why no fryer? And why are you trying to get your customers to NOT order your food???? We asked what was on the grilled chicken sandwich and the guy says “it’s honestly just a warmed up piece of chicken”??? Like that didn’t even answer our question but also why are you trying to get us to not order food???way too many people, Many people talking to us at once just like goodness I’m a little traumatized honestly. Not coming back!!!

Always use to stop by this DQ after a night helping my friends. We would have a grand time visiting and eating our ice cream. I wish they would have some outside eating space, but there are a few tables inside. I always had my order come through fine. My one complaint is that I am saddened by the pricing of ice cream these days. I love me some ice cream, but I am such a spendthrift.

This location always has the best, largest variety and most fresh ice cream cakes.

Terrible customer service! I had to repeat my order four times, and even then it was not correct! Then, they refused to take my incorrect order back. They told me it was a safety hazard. Seriously it’s well worth it to drive further to Antneys or Pages. Totally not worth it. Not to mention the entire restaurant smelled like weed.

I would leave zero if possible. Hours of operation on website AND door of establishment states 9 pm. I arrived at the door at 8:30 pm, along with another customer and he pulled at the door to discover it was locked and he said Wow closed early. The young employees inside stared at us and even two were staring down at their phones all behind the counter. Rugs were hanging up because the floor was clearly just cleaned so that indicates they were closed earlier than when two customers arrived.

Best soft serve in town a little pricey but what good ice cream isnt

Stopped on the way home for a Blizzard and was not disappointed. Got it quickly and enjoyed every bite!

Tonight was my worst experience at this establishment. Poor management and the young crew had very poor attitudes. We frequently go here but no more. I am sure they will lose more business if they keep the employees that worked on 9/10/19 at630pm.

If they dont turn your blizzard upside down, u dont get a coupon for a free blizzard, just attitude from these young employees. Now it depends on which blizzard u buy? False advertising. Sad to have such a bad experience for a $3 coupon.

When my dad and I went to this Dairy Queen I had great thoughts about it. Once we ordered we saw couples passing us in getting there ice cream. It took us 20+ mins to get 2 small blizzards! When we received it we got no upside down turn and the ice cream was warm and mushy. They get us a batch that was in the freezer, so my dad exposed them about it and they made us a new batch which was worse.

Avoid this place....If you have chocolate on your mind, you need to ask several times for the correct mix. This store minimizes portions, and the milk quality has to be questioned. Not recommended, might be a health issue, a sour taste on the last 2 visits....

I went in on Friday night and ordered an oreo blizzard and a hot dog. After waiting for 15 minutes, When the worker flipped the blizzard upside down for a split second, it fell onto my shoes ruining my brand new shoes. I then continued to wait for the hot dog while wiping away the chunks of oreo off my shoes. When I bit into my hot dog it was under cooked and cold. Not a happy customer !!!!!

This review is based on the food not the workers or the frozen treats! I got 2 hotdogs and they were grayish green so my kids didnt eat them and they were not worth 2.19$ each. So if I were you Id skip the hot dogs.

The best DQ in Pittsburgh. The staff are always friendly, quick, and reliable. Large selection of cakes and pre-made items in addition to the old standards.

Our experience @ the DQ on McFarland Rd last evening wasnt great. The ice cream in our Blizzards was liquid consistency when we received it.The staff gave no upside down turn to them before they gave them to my husband. I think they knew it was mushy and would fall out of the cups. Bummer because I have had such good experiences at the DQ on Route 88 this summer.

The employees have always been nice when we go here and the store always looks clean and well maintained.

The kids who work here always close early. We were walking up to the door with 10 min to spare and the girl was apparently letting some customer out; she stared right at us, in the way of the door, said not a word, shut it and locked it. The hours are clearly posted and the clock visible through the windows. The kids just wanted to get out of there.
