Absolutely amazing! This place is insane. They have so many different types of crystals, rocks, and fossils in all different shapes and forms. Definitely the best prices I’ve ever seen in a crystal store. Only thing I wish was different is packaging. At checkout, the cashiers basically just dump everything you bought into a bag, which can definitely cause damage. Other than that, this place is amazing!

Cool place, great selection.However, this is the second time a cashier chipped my tumbled crystals while packing them. Id give more stars if they were more careful. They dump them in a bag all at once, and you can hear them hitting each other. Its too far of a drive to return them now.

Omg I wanted more of it and at the BEST price I have seen for a Super 7 yet!! Not kidding. The price for Super 7 here even beat Etsy prices! And I love keeping my purchases local.I got some AMAZING Labradorite eggs! Seriously how often do you find Labradorite in that shape right? Had to get it. They were huge and only $6.50 each!Got some amazing banded carnelian for $2.00 a piece.Amethyst lover? This place is a MUST. From spheres to druzy to cages. You gotta see it for yourself!I have been a loyal customer for 10 years now.

I had not been here in awhile. Place is much more organized than last I was there. Prices have gone up, but that is everywhere. There were some good deals still also though, just not on what I was looking for.Its worth a trip though just to see some of the incredible pieces they have!

I placed an order and recieved it in 4 days . It was for 8 agate slices. 3 were not usable as I intended to frame them in a grouping.One has a light blue paint looking splotch on it. Another has stripes running through it like it was cut going the wrong direction . The other one has the circles but is too dark and has a grey cast over half of it.

This was such a great find while visiting family. I had a dream about a black tourmaline and came here and I found such a great selection of stones!! The girl who helped me was so nice and answered all my questions. I got a beautiful black tourmaline for such a good price for the size! Pleasantly surprised and will come here when Im in town visiting family!

This place blew my mind in terms in crystal places I have visited. Their prices are so affordable that I walked away paying only $60 whereas other places I would have easily spent nearly $150 for the same crystals. The quality of the gems are rated and shown in many places. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Its a drive from where I live, but I doubt Ill be buying crystals anywhere else from now on.

Do not buy the cab assortment, it is bad. The picture is not an accurate description. We received junk, some items were very badly pitted, others were actually tumbled stones, not a flat spot on them! Some of them were broken, the quality of this is so poor they are good for nothing. I tried to call them to talk about it, no answer and the voice mail is full. I will not buy from them again unless they make this right. Also note, I bought other cabs that were supposed to be higher grade, they are still not good quality. Beware.

The store is such a fun place-loads and loads of beautiful loose gems and bins of pendant gemstones, bracelets, and so much more. Such great prices and friendly staff.

Great stones, but the customer service is upsetting. The store manager does not seem to care about retaining long-term, loyal customers. They made a mistake on the pricing of some items, and they would not honor the price listed on their website. I was told to either pay the difference, or cancel the order. This is very unprofessional. While they may not have listed a price that was beneficial to them, it was their mistake and the seller should honor the listed price. This goes against all basic rules of customer service. Really disappointing given that Crystal River Gems had become my go-to store for crystals. Crystals are used for positive energy work, and I like to buy my crystals from people who are fair, kind, and who do what is right when they are in the wrong.

I walked in for the first time today around 1:30pm looking for something very specific, I was overwhelmed with all the small bins everywhere you turn. I observed at least four women in the store talking about Game of Thrones. I looked around for at least seven minutes as employees walked pass me not saying one word. Finally another woman walked in and within the first minute of her entering she was asked if she could be helped. I was appalled! Disappointed at the obvious, I walked out refusing to spend my money in such a place. I could say more but I’d rather not, at the very least they have very poor customer service.

I ordered rocks from this company the shipping came to be 30.00 the rocks were 40.00 I received damaged rocks that looked nothing like the picture. My tracking number was switched during the process so my order was lost in the mail. It finally came to my house 3 weeks after ordering and the rocks were broken. My total came to 100.00 with exchange rate. This company is a rip off and do not sell what is promised. I weighed my rocks and 4 of the 13 packages I received were UNDER weight. Overall horrible experience and I do not recommend ever do business with these people. It was like they picked the ugliest rocks from the lot and sent them, and save the good ones for pictures. When I complained they directed me to their website and told me they couldn’t help me, to contact other people about my issues. I told them my order was lost in the mail and they told me to contact the post office and that “oops” my tracking number changed. Never will buy or reccomend this company to anyone. Rip off.

First off I hate that I feel that I need to write a review. My first and last experience with Crystal River gems leaves me with mixed feelings. Starting with the positive the agate slices are absolutely beautiful and the shipping was extremely fast. As for the negative aspect of my experience. Immediately after ordering online I realized I did not input my coupon code that was emailed to me. I quickly emailed the company to see if they could add the coupon code and included a screenshot of my email I had from them with the coupon code. I received no response! The next day I spoke with a girl named Bunny and explained my situation and she told me that the owner Jim would call me back. no response! The next day I call again and spoke with Bunny and she seemed shocked that I did not receive a response and left another message. Yet again no response! I finally received agates. 5 out of the 6 are exactly what I ordered. As for the 6th agate that I had cherry picked, (an extra $1) was completely replaced by a different agate color other than what I had requested. Yet again I call to inquire why the agate was sent in the first place and why no one called me to tell me they could not find that specific color. Another message was left for Jim. I wait till the end of the day to hear from him and no response. I finally get a ding on my phone stating that $1 (cherry picking fee) had been refunded. I am so disappointed. I find the business ethics to be cowardly and sneaky. Forcing customers to purchase items they did not request and put them in the position to be charged a 15% restocking fee due to their unwillingness to properly correspond or take responsibility is shameful. Beautiful product but poor business practices. I would even be scared to shop in store if this is how they handle discrepancies.

Im a huge rock buff, and before discovering this store I would often trek to other shops or order online to get my rock fixes. Often when I did, what I found were overpriced specimens that varied wildly in quality and were often mislabeled or misidentified as something else that was rarer/more mystical. Not so here! Crystal River Gems is my new go-to -- everything in the shop is labeled clearly and accurately, and if there are any questions about stone ID, the owner can answer them adroitly with no uncertain dithering. Plus, their rocks and minerals are some of the most affordable samples Ive seen on offer anywhere -- you can literally buy a five-pound hunk of jasper for twelve bucks. The loose tumbled stones are also well worth a visit. The quality of these is top-notch, plus they often have larger pieces and jewelry findings on offer as well. My only critique is that I wish there were more large palm stones or unique offerings (like stones with inclusions, etc), but honestly, this is the most top-notch gem shop Ive ever seen, and Ill be back many times to come!
