They delivered a new to me washer the same day and saved me from going to the laundromat! Awesome service and I love that they take your broken machine and repair it so it doesn’t go to the landfill. I feel like we recycled/reused it.
The guys at A&A are super busy but excellent. My husband and I needed to replace our oven/microwave combo unit from, like, 1904 (exaggeration). It was kind of a goofy space so hard to find a unit that would fit. We, admittedly, bounced around to Home Depot and Sears just to find someone who could help us. Do we need to just do 2 oven? Do we need a combo unit? Can we do one oven and a trim kit? Of course no one could help us until we discovered A&A. They came over to measure the goofy space AND THEN DID THE RESEARCH for us to find the perfect unit. Turns out, they had a top of the line combo unit on the floor that someone has returned. We got a decent discount AND they installed it. It cost a very pretty penny but it’s worth it. Absolutely call and work with A&A before you go anywhere else!
The most friendly, polite, courteous, and professional staff. So easy to talk to and set up appointments. The repairmen are respectful to your home and knowledgeable of your appliances. I trust them completely to be in my house even if I am not there. I am so glad to be a customer.
Very helpful and good prices. Chris was awesome at helping me, he went above and beyond.
Repair problems solved, good communication with staff regarding showing up, friendly business.
Very happy with service and installation.
Ignored us when we came in to buy a washer. Continued to argue politics with someone while we stood by waiting. We finally ran out of time and had to go. The appliances are all old and overpriced. The new items are 14 years old.
Ordered fridge over 100 days ago and it never arrived. Have to hound Robert the owner to get any information. Robert forgot to order the fridge and then lied to me about it to me. Fridge has been delayed six times. Has been rude and dismissive when I toldHim I was disappointed with the situation. Save yourself the headache and go to sears or Home Depot.
I live in Port Townsend. I called this business and explained an issue with my Viking refrigerator. The nice person who answered the phone said hed pass my info to his lead. No one ever called back.
They failed to show up for a scheduled servcie appointment for a new Maytag fridge I purchased from them one month ago. Now they wont return my calls.
The employees at A & A are extremely helpful and have incredible customer service. I highly recommend them.
These guys are the best. Stewart came out early on a Saturday morning to install a new motor in my washing machine, that was thankfully covered under Speed Queens awesome warranty. I was sick in bed but my 4- year old didnt want to stay in the bedroom with me and went out and chatted with Stewart. I offered to get her out of his hair, but he said they were having a great time. It made my daughters day to have a buddy to chat with for a 1/2 hour. Thank you A&A, you guys always make us happy we chose to purchase appliances from a hometown store.
Great service and very quick to get an appointment! I was told by another place I should just get a new fridge (without them even attempting to look at it). Come to find out it was a pretty cheap fix in comparison to spending well over $1,000.00 for a new similar fridge. Will definitely use them again! Thank you!!
Horrible customer service. I will never recommend this company again.
My dryer went out on a weekend. The soonest anyone could get to my house was 2 weeks. I could have waited for several days for A and A to make a house call ( which was a week and a half sooner than anyone else). But Over the phone, Robert the owner was thorough and detailed with questions which helped me diagnose the issue. I was able to drive to his shop, pick up the part and have it fixed in no time. I wouldnt hesitate recommending his business. I will never go anywhere else for parts or appliance repair and keep the business close to home. Nothing but gratitude and satisfaction.
I was in contact with Stewart for repairs to my washing machine. He quoted me $79 to come out and assess the problem.Robert came out to see what parts were needed for repair (He is knowledgeable, kind person). He was at my home, a one minute drive from this business, no more than 10 minutes. He told me it would be $140 for him to install the part.A week later, when the part was being installed, another part needed to be replaced. (There were no other used machines available at the shop, then.) Total bill to fix cost me $259 with parts.Following this episode, the washer still was not working correctly.Robert made a quick stop by, and said that the part that was most likely the problem, was expensive. We decided not to pour any more money back into this old washing machine (that I had originally purchased at A&A).Stewart told me they would only give 50% back on the dollars I had spent thus far, to purchase a used machine (they now had five used washing machines available).I agreed to purchase a used Whirlpool for $269. With delivery charge ($50) and tax, the investment in my new used washing machine cost me $444. It is now leaking....!They took my old machine back. No doubt with my new parts installed, they will fix, and resell.Dont believe time frames they give you if they say they will be back in contact with you. It does not happen.Guess what? Costco has a new Samsung washer for $450! If only I had known.....
My washing machine started making an intermittent grinding sound while running so I called A A Appliance. I was told it would be $89 for a diagnosis. When the repair man showed up it took him about 15 minutes to open my machine and pull out 2 coins that were causing the sound. He then charged me $150 for the “labor.” Apparently removing 2 coins is considered labor even though he had already opened the machine to diagnose the problem. He also ran my machine without the drain hose in the drain causing water to spray all over my laundry room.
I would give 10 stars if I could! I called Robert at A&A on Monday, desperate for help after waiting THREE weeks for a part I had ordered and prepaid through A&E - a repair service with a name that sounds very similar to A&A, but is NOTHING like it. I was fed up to the point of just giving up and buying a new fridge, even though mine is only 3 years old. I had read good reviews for A&A, and wanted to know what brands they would recommend. When I explained my situation, Robert asked for the part number for the fan I had been unable to obtain. In one minute he located the part at 3 different distributors and quoted me a price FIFTY dollars less than what I had prepaid to the previous company with no results! He ordered the part, received it in 2 days, as he had promised, and sent Stuart, a very capable employee, to our home the next morning to repair our fridge. A&A has my business for life.
Helpful advice and fast service grate place to shop for your household needs.
No office. Vehicle parking only.
Fantastic service! Robert worked with my husband to solve our refrigerator’s problem. Took a while but saved us lots of money in the end. So impressed!
I called and made an appointment last week for todays date. They told me anywhere from 3 to 5. I cleared my schedule and was of course anxious to get my broken fridge running! I got a call two days ago saying they had a cancellation for the next day (yesterday) but I was having to take my daughter to Seattle for an appointment so told them no and that wed keep the original appointment for Wednesday (today) from 3 to 5. They said ok. I was waiting for them to show up today and I got a call at 3:40 stating theyd be here tomorrow...umm..noo. I already canceled/rearranged for today and expected this company to keep their word and come when they said they were. It was even reminded to them two days earlier that it was set for today. Very unprofessional and completely disappointed. I cant review their services since I was stood up. They have lost my business to another.
Amazing customer service and truly wonderful, locally owned business. Honest and trustworthy. Ill always go to A & A for all of my appliance needs.
Stewart and crew were awesome! When our 4.5 year Kitchen Aid refridgerator died, they came out at 5 PM Friday night to take a look. We told the repair guy who declared our compressor dead we hated the Kitchen Aid because we had so many issues. He said that we should look around at the box appliance stores in the morning and come out to their showroom and talk to Stewart. After going to Home Depot, Costco and Sears we had sticker shock and were depressed. When we got to AA, we told Stewart our story and he said if we wanted to keep the Kitchen Aid, he thought it was still under warranty and it was. They picked it up, gave us a nice loaner and in 3.5 days we had our KA back with a new compressor. What could have been a $2,800 new fridge, ended up being $275 repair job. Their honesty is awesome as is their customer service! THANKS SO MUCH!
Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Will definitely be going to them for further appliance needs.
I buy all my appliances here. I have bought my brand new oven/range, and my new washer and dryer set as well, so they sell new also, not just used. I also get my appliances repaired by this business. They have good deals, do a great job, and I trust them.
These folks really came through for us in figuring out a difficult issue with two kitchen appliance two days before Thanksgiving! Others had failed to solve the problem, but A&A had the knowledge and drive to get the job done. Thank you!
Excellent, friendly, efficient and quick.
Overpriced and misleading
Long standing respected business in Port Angeles. If you have a problem, they will help solve it.
Fix my dryer quickly, very knowledgeable!
