Workers here are VERY rude to young women traveling past them on bicycles. They need a serious attitude adjustment. I thought Port Washington was better than auto-shop workers barking like dogs and waving tools threateningly at minors just pedaling past them. Would not endorse this establishment.

They are a great repair shop, a new tire store and do inspections and oil changes. ! My car is well cared for here !

I have a 2015 GMC Terrain that the mechanics at Port Tire and Auto have been servicing. The staff here have been professional, competent, patient, understanding, polite, honest, dedicated, diligent, and extremely reliable. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Always reasonably priced and do a great job. I left my winter tires there by accident and forgot them for months. I called 3 months later and they said they’d been holding onto them for me. My go to.

Always a great experience. I have gotten four pairs of tires from them. Two of which were mounted on a set of HRE and BBS/AMG wheels and both came out flawless.

Theses guys are very friendly and seem to know what they are doing, but be careful they are all about making the most profit out of every situation, they’ll tell you you need to replace parts that don’t need to be replaced, and I know because I saw how 4 months ago those parts were replaced... since they couldn’t make money on those parts they went ahead and replaced my lugs at 20bucks a piece, when they were already charging 500 dollars to replace a bearing... not cool

I had the bad luck of a nail in my tire and a busted valve and wasnt confident on how Id get home but this excellent staff took care of the situation in no time. Greeting me with courtesy and professionalism, my problem was assessed and corrected immediately. The service and hospitality was good to begin with and made even better when we realized were from the same neighborhood!

Port Tire is a wonderful, honest, business!Owner Jeff went out of his way to make sure I received 4 new tires for a 8 year old CRV that were great tires, plus affordable!!! They also had to replace my front strut w Honda part at lower price than dealer. As a single woman it can be intimating to deal w Car issues, but not here. The car runs better that ever, plus the new tires hug the road and are quiet and smooth.Happy Holidays to the great team at Port Tire!

No need to travel out of Port Washington for Tires. Great Service- Good Prices- Nice Guys .. They even fixed the heater in my car for 1/3rd the price that was quoted to me from a local mechanic.. Highly Recommended !!

Port Tire & Auto Service is NOT owned or operated by the Goodyear Company. It is a Goodyear Independent Dealer.Since they are an independent dealer, the Goodyear Company has no control over what they can charge you for the cost of a tire.Recently I needed a replacement tire for a Contential tire. Since it was late in the day they suggested a Kelly tire. I was charged $109.95 for the tire with out balancing or tax.Later that evening I checked online and found out that no one charged more then $80.00 for the same tire.The next day I called the Goodyear Company and they explained that as an independent dealer they have no control. A Goodyear dealer would have charged $96.74 for the tire with balancing and mounting.Port Tire has a huge Goodyear sign on their building that gives the impression they are a Goodyear dealer.By the way, they did a fast job of changing the tire.Ive used them in the past but will never use them again.

Great place to get flats fixed and replacement tires, if needed. Helpful staff. Also do maintenance work, but havent used them for that as Ive had another mechanic for many years.

Got an oil change here in a pinch when I couldnt get to my regular guy. They were fast and friendly. HOWEVER the date and mileage limit had not passed for the next oil change when my car started stalling on the highway and making weird noises. I had no idea what the issue was. When I took it in to my regular guy, he couldnt find any issues except the oil. There was barely any oil in there and it was BLACK. So either these guys didnt put enough in or they used poor quality synthetic oil for which I paid $90. Will not be returning here.

They diagnosed my slow tire leak as due to a faulty sensor. They were able to repair it quickly and inexpensively. Couldnt have asked for anything more! Great service and very nice guys.

Needed a new battery that I could not find after calling a few locations.I called Port and they were extremely helpful. I sent them a picture of the battery to there cell phone. They identified the battery, and then, not only did they have the battery in stock, they delivered it to my house because I didnt have a car to go pick it up! They are my go to mechanic from now on!

Honest, dependable and fast....I went over something and needed a replacement tire...and no other goodyear dealer had it and they all said it would take a week. Jeff got back to me in a jiffy and said he located the tire in CT and arranged for an overnight fed ex delivery...the price installed...100 bucks cheaper than my dealer...amazing service where they treat you like you want to be treated
