Just left this location and the store manager was super sweet and nice. Very helpful and just all out kind. Definitely made my drive from the Harbourview Suffolk VA location worth it. They were all out of latex gloves but she was nice enough to offer me a few pairs of individuals that they had opened behind the registers. Superb customer service

The clerk that is working at the Sally beauty supply in Portsmouth, Frederick Blvd, told me that I had to have a mask on in order to enter and she didn’t even have a mask on her self😳.

Ok so, I havent been in a Sallys in a long, long time. WOW! They have stepped up their game! This store was super clean and well stocked. However, I have to say that its the staff at this location that make it so awesome. They are SO friendly and helpful. They just made me a regular customer!!

Well get ready for disappointment. This location isnt as great as described. I entered the store shortly after the store opened for the day and was not greeted with a friendly helpful employee but rather a distracted employee who never looked at me and was staring instead at her tablet. I spoke to her first. I noticed while I was looking for a certain product a lot of running to the back of the store, a lot of noise, and running to the front of the store, only to find out when I was ready to check out that there was no one manning the register. (Was there more than one person in the store?). Too boot my reasonably priced products had increased! One product by 60 cents and the other $1! Same product and packaging! Come on, Sallys! Well, as I completed my purchase, two vehicles pulled up at the front of the store sort of like a police raid. A girl from vehicle #1 came in Sallys turning away from the register and fiddling with something in her purse as soon as she entered the door. The other vehicle stopped closely behind the first one. The back slider opened and someone got out and ran into the salon next door. It suddenly seemed ghetto-ish. There are Sallys in neighboring cities where the atmosphere is pleasant and race-neutral. WILL NOT return to this location. May just shop online instead.

I wasnt greeted with a smiling employee when I walked in the door. She seemed distracted and was rather rude when I had questions about some products I wanted to get. Towards the end of my visit she seemed as if I was bothering her and didnt want to help. This was at about 3 in the afternoon and made me not want to spend my money in an establishment like that

Sallys was great when I went I went a hour early before the store open ( not knowing they were still closed) I pulled on the door and it was open and they said they werent open until 12 but the manager was nice enough to let me grab the items I needed... very sweet of her and for be kind Im giving this Sallys a 5 star rating

The ladies here are literally the sweetest. Theyve guided me through my journey to blonde. Ive literally come in a hot mess with literal bleach in my hair and theyve helped me and maybe only judged me a little 😂❤ love them all

Cashier was very pleasant and informative today. I was looking for a Denman Brush and she helped me with that and also a leave-in conditioner.
