I added a a phone to my plan which was supposed to be $40 extra paid the phone off in full which should mean no monthly payments! Somehow they are charging me .01 a penny a month for 24 months a whole quarter .... okay but it’s paid. Then they charge $40 activation for the first month which they didn’t notify us about when purchasing the phone. Okay there’s that then they apply a protection plan without informing us ! The bill should be $75 some how came to $179.41 explain to me how a $35 phone line adds another person for $40 a month becomes $179.41 if anything I understand the $115 but explain where the 64.41 comes from !

Ive been going to this Verizon store for at least a decade, I always had a good experience, even when the owners would change. This time was no different. Brandon, who is the franchise owner (and someone I have never dealt with) was extremely understanding and respectful given my circumstances. I would like to also say that his sales associate Kolby ( also someone I have never dealt with ) was also very understanding and helpful. They both went above and beyond and I have never written a review about customer service in my life. I highly recommend this specific location.

We had a great experience. The manager who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us a lot of information that helped us pick out a new phone and possible new phone upgrades in the future. He was patient with all our questions and had us laughing the whole time.

Kolby is so patient and knowledgeable. I bought a new phone at a different location and spent two hours while the representative tried unsuccessfully to transfer photos, contacts, and texts. I stopped at the Portsmouth location, and the transfer was done in minutes. I highly recommend this store. Cant thank Kolby enough.

Went in, Brendan was very helpful with switching of phones and a purchase of a new phone, everything was explained and figured out down to the cent. He also saved us money (reusing a phone case) and did not charge for a new glass cover for the new phone. In and out quickly with all questions answered. Will be going to our Portsmouth Verizon store from here on out. Thank you for being there for the help and for any questions we may have in the future! Y’all were great!

The worst customer service! They charged me $40 per phone to “activate” the phone and failed to mention that Verizon would also charge me the same amount. Lying by omission. So frustrating, I’ll never go back.

Some of the best customer service Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Staff members Bobby and Coby were very helpful, conscientious, and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bought new phone. Wasnt sure how to apps I needed for work. They were kind enough to do it all for me. Also, explained how to use all the new features of my phone.

Terrible customer service. Said we would get paperwork by email. It never arrived and when we went back to ask for hard copy Brendan insisted it could not be done. Unexpected charges appeared on first bill. He became insulting when we questioned this and we had to walk out of store. AVOID THIS PLACE! (Bristol store is fine; should have gone there.)

I Love this store and Brandon was so wonderful! I went to exchange our 2 phones and Brandon worked so hard to get us the best deals to exchange all 4 of our phones. He explained everything he was doing and “dumbed down” the tech talk so my mother could understand!! Very bad experiences, three times for me and once for my daughter. I am getting charges they told me I would not, was told that the cover I bought for my phone was compatible with a wireless charger and it was not. I had to buy another one. I was told that the contacts in my phone would reappear and they did not. The woman I bought the phone with knew nothing about the works of it. I asked for help two days after the purchase when nothing was working properly, and was met with sarcasm about turning up the volume. I took my new phone to Go Wireless in the Walmart shopping plaza and it took about an hour to get the phone to do what it is supposed to do, thanks to the manager there. Do not go to this store.They are there to sell and the staff changes constantly so there is no recourse when it goes wrong.There are good reviews here but must be from friends or for past staff. Nobody owns up to anything because that person you dealt with is gone. If you are the kind of person who needs a new phone and or help with your phone, run to the Walmart shopping plaza and see Ed, the manager. He was incredibly helpful .

My visit to Verizon in Portsmouth, RI this afternoon (6/12) was to pick up my new phone. PJ was the associate who facilitated the transaction. He was very helpful and explained each new aspect of the phone to me. I was very pleased with the friendly and professional attitude of all three of the employees (one being Sam the store manager). I was assured that if there were any problems or questions, they would be available to help.

Needed a new phone immediately due to the iPhone 7 “searching/no service” error. Richard P was there to save the day. He provided great customer service by giving me trade in value on my previous iPhone7. Had the opportunity to upgrade to the 10 but I wanted to stay with a phone similar to the 7 so I upgraded to the 8. Richard P was very genuine and cared about my issue. He was very informative about several phones/contracts which made me buy with confidence. Broke down statistics of my previous usage rate which was very helpful in determining the amount of gigs I wanted to purchase for my phone. Richard P also pointed out I was eligible for a discount due to the fact I am a faculty/staff member at a nearby school! Pleasant experience!

Great store and great customer service. I had the pleasure of being helped by Ricky. Going in I wasn’t sure what I wanted and Ricky really laid out the options that I had thoroughly and helped me get to the right choice for me. I ended up getting an iPhone 8 and Ricky made the transition really smooth. He transferred everything over and was super helpful with any question I had about the phone itself or the service. Superior customer service is the only way I can describe my recent visit to the Verizon in Portsmouth Rhode Island location. Brendan was not only knowledgeable, kind and patient he went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he resolve a time sensitive issue, he brought to my attention that I was eligible for an upgrade and he wanted to help me lower my bill. I left with my problem resolved a new phone and a lower monthly bill. Emanuel, was also very kind to assist me with any questions I had with my new phone. I recommend anyone that is in need of a new phone carrier or has an issue with their phone to go to the Portsmith Rhode Island location. The quality customer service you’ll receive is amazing!!

Buy your devices from them. They will give you the same price as the Big Box or Club stores and much better service.

They were very helpful there with knowledgeable with different types of technology that is inside the phone.

All of the employees were wonderful. I mostly dealt with the manager Samuel but was greeted right away and the atmosphere was welcoming. Samuel was able to answer all of my questions, I didnt leave with any misunderstandings. Usually I always leave wondering what my next bill will be and how to set my phone up but Samuel set everything up quickly and explained what I was paying for.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I went in to buy my wife a new phone and was immediately greeted by Marty. He went over all of my options, which, to be honest, was overwhelming for an old timer like myself. However, Marty explained everything very clearly and concisely. The thing that impressed me the most though was the follow up support. Once I was done purchasing my phone, Marty very patiently helped me set it up in a way I know my wife will love come Christmas Day. He very easily could’ve moved on to a new purchaser, but instead, he didn’t leave my side until he knew I was comfortable and content. I would highly recommend this store to anyone. The service here far surpasses expectation.

This has hands down been the best phone buying experience I’ve ever had. Sam and the other guys at this Verizon are absolutely amazing! Walking in there today I had an old phone I wasn’t happy with and a plan that wasn’t operating efficiently for me or my family. By the time I left I had gotten a new phone a new iPad and unlimited data for a fraction of what it should’ve cost, and the best part is that Sam was able to reorganize my plan to actually lower my monthly bill! Not only can these guys save you money but they will go out of their way to make sure you get everything the way you want it. Their customer service is so good Sam even took an hour out of his day to drive to another store to pick up the phone in the color I wanted while I went out and grabbed lunch. Seriously this place is amazing, if your in the area and need a phone look no where else!

Needed a new phone, and, based off of the reviews I read online, I figured Id give this location a shot. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the stores manager, Samuel, who was beyond fantastic in every way. I also chatted a bit with one of the sales reps there named Marty. After a long path to get new phones Sam initially helped us via phone and then Ricky helped us in the store. Both were great I was super impressed with Ricky as he took plenty of time to make sure we understood what type of phone to buy in terms my mom and I could both follow and made sure we purchased a phone based on our needs.
