I love this Starbucks! The team is always upbeat and they work so well together. Dont let the long line fool you - these kids move through it super fast! Never out of stock of anything Ive ordered, which is refreshing for the bustling financial district.

Its okay for a Starbucks and a good place to sit down for coffee if youre in the area, also have an outside seating area.

I have been a regular customer of Starbucks fir at least 15 years. Yesterday was National Coffee Day and I received a text that if I ordered a drink on the app I would get a free coffee the following day. So as usual I drove to Starbucks on river road Potomac Maryland and got my coffee. This morning again I drive to get my free coffee and was treated like a criminal by the only person working there at 5:40am Sarah. I showed her the promotion and the purchase of my coffee on my phone and she still said that she wasn’t aware of this and no one had told her about this promo. Now why wouldn’t a manager of a coffee shop reach out to find out what the promotions are on a National Coffee Day??? How is it that you enjoy being called the manager but then you are so clueless of what your company is offering to it’s customers and furthermore how can you allow yourself to be rude with a customer who knows better than you the manager about promotions offered by the company that you work for. I was so upset when I left the store that I had to sit in my car fir ten minutes to calm down. I wanted to tell her something in front of the other 5 customers but I decided to leave her with some dignity. Please Sarah be more active and learn about promotions that Starbucks offers so you don’t like like an idiot in front of the customers.

The Potomac village Starbucks is a godsend when out that way. The breakfast options are actually quite good.

The worst experience. I managed to drive to Starbucks with a broken knee and was so mistreated that I was so close to call the cops. The cashier Yurza was so rude to me and she told me to go to another Starbucks and the supervisor Celine was so unprofessional and rude and just walked away when I spoke to her. This is the Starbucks on river road andi don’t recommend for anyone to go there. I left without my drink paid for my drink and m outraged by this unprofessionalism . I thought Starbucks had customer service but I was truly wrong.

They forgot my order and had to remind them twice, one guy took my order and forgot, another asked again what I ordered and dropped it to his manager to complete and she had to ask me again what milk I wanted with it. I was like a parrot ordering the same thing three times while waiting in a crowded cafe during pandemic!

Great 🌟 bucks, however not a lot of seats to set-up and work. When its nice you can sit in the outdoor area. They have books for kids to borrow!! I love that!!

Dont waste yr time. Always crowded youll wait 10-15 minutes for your drink and of all the times Ive gone there its never been right. I order stuff straight from menu so not hard to screw it up yet they do anyway.

Rude cashier. Very unpersanoble. Non verbal communication( eye contact, tone of voice, intonation etc) is as important as verbal. up to 93% out of what we communicate to others come from our body language. It is well described in Starbucks training course. Please, read it.

Coffee is always fresh and delicious. The staff is pleasant and the ambient is very enjoyable.

One of the sharpest Starbucks ive ever been to. Their selection of making the coffee any which way you prefer, among all the known techniques, is what puts this Starbucks above most others. Its well done interior and thoughtful touches, and interest in opening up at 5:30AM even though it probably doesnt need to is what gives this Starbucks a solid five stars and worthy of Potomac in quality. I love this Starbucks! Its a little hidden jem in the Potomac Village. On a nice day theres a patio where you can sit outside while enjoying your favorite beverage. And the staff are friendly with prompt service.

I really like this Starbucks and they have a neat pour over bar where you can sit and watch them make the nicer coffees. Even though the staff is different every time I go in there, they are usually nice.

This store is modern and nice. Busy almost always because it is in a shopping area. The baristas are nice and service is good

Overpriced And delicious. Everything you expect from a Starbucks location. But this secret nook has a special surprise, with every cup comes custom calligraphy masterfully scribed by an artist pouring his soul into the canvas. It doesnt even have to be your real name. I opted out for Ricky ticky tacky. I will definitely make the time to come to this place next time Im in town

I used to love this place but I had a terrible experience today, so bad that Id give a zero star rating if possible. Today is my birthday so I went to get my free birthday gift. Took them 30 minutes to make my drink because they forgot about it, and this wait time ended up getting me yelled at by my parents. I will be avoiding this Starbucks to the best of my ability in the future. Terrible way to spend my 17th birthday.

Everything this great about this place - but the consistency of drinks at this Starbucks. The location, nestled in the middle of Potomac Village and sitting in a large courtyard, provides ample space. The service is what youd expect from Starbucks, however, the consistency of drinks simply isnt there. Perhaps because not only is there no Starbucks around for miles (I know - thats shocking), but there isnt any other coffee/meeting place around either. So, this place is busy - we all have nowhere else to go.It has a captive market so perhaps thats why the drinks are up and Down. Please note - the drinks arent always bad, but the % of times Ive had a bad drink here is much higher than any other Starbucks Ive been too.But, since theres nowhere else to go, we come back, time and again.

I grew up in Potomac and they have update this Starbucks so much. Finally their is lots of settings and places to sit and get work done. Service is fast and friendly.

Try Coconut Milk in an Iced Coffee. It is very tasty.

Stopped by this location of Starbucks after visiting some folks in the neighborhood. It was quite busy on a warm Saturday afternoon. That should, however, not be a reason to not stock up on milk and sugar at the condiment stand. Running out of sugar in the raw is like no one bothered to re-stock this stand in quite sometime!So I had to ask for some sugar and milk and one of the barista hands me over a few packs of the sugar from behind the counter!Would definitely be rated real low except that my cappuccino was made well.

Basically got kick out at the nearby bakery store and giving me dirty look after pointed the service dog vest i went to this starbuck of course the environment is soooo friendly and more welcome !!! Thanks!!!

Slowest Starbucks Ive ever been to. 5 people behind the counter and it takes 7 minutes to get a drink in the morning. I wouldnt go here if it werent so convenient.

Yet another Starbucks, friendly staff. Its very interesting how young people/teenagers go into Starbucks. This should be the terrain of 20-50 year olds, where all the hip people hang out.

People around DC have attitudes.

The dirtiest Starbucks ever. One bathroom out of order, the other so dirty that no one could go in, left without soap or toilet paper. And this ona Sat morning when the store is packed. An employee went inside and said “ I will fix it for you” and few minutes later came out without having done any cleaning, just put in some toilet paper. The most disgusting place ever.

Sometimes this Starbucks can be incredibly busy, but the baristas are very friendly and accommodating!
