This is one cafe that is quaint and cozy with a very friendly staff. For food they dont have a lot of options but what they have is good. We got focaccio with ham. It was freshly toasted and the bread was nice and fluffy. It comes with chips, which isnt clearly mentioned on the menu. We also got the blueberry lemon scones and chai mini donuts. The scones were delicious and perfectly sweet and tart. The chai donuts were also tasty with a good amount of spice. For drinks, we got the hot chocolate and chai. They were reasonably priced. The cafe has a lot of tables and is good place to work, eat and drink at the same time.
Consistently one of the greatest coffee experiences I have ever had. I have been going for years and from the staff to the atmosphere to the drinks themselves this place is welcoming, delightful, and one of my favorite places on this side of the state. Absolutely recommended!
As a busy professional, quality coffee and a friendly attitude are the only things I want before I open my office. Tyson is kind, warm, and welcoming to his customers. They are very welcoming and there are great vegan options for milk! Bring your own coffee mug and vegan milk alternatives are free (usually an additional charge). I loved Moro through graduate school, and I love it it today!
I have found my 3rd place for when I move to Pullman this fall. The ambiance is eclectic with that air of college town chic. The employees are great and super kind. Plenty of spots to eat and work if needed. Perfect location downtown and they have punch cards!
Nice people and friendly atmosphere. Great coffee and $1 drop coffee when you bring your own cup. Cant beat a fair price.
The baristas are friendly, environment is great for studying or meeting a friend. Highly recommend their lavender London fog!
Great service and great hot coco! Our barista pet our pups then washed her hands. Thanks for the great experience!
Beat coffee place in town and I especially like the house made baked goods. Also the best place to get a matcha drink in the area.
I go here a few days a week to take advantage of the WiFi, paying a minuscule $1 (cash+tip) to fill my Yeti mug with some darn good dark roast drip coffee. I see a lot of the same faces every time, so I know Im not the only one! Ive tried them all, but this is my Pullman work cafe. The staff is friendly, coffee is terrific, WiFi is reliable... checks all my boxes. I need to start bringing a seat cushion though! The furnishings are no frills (again, coffee is $1.)
Best coffee drinks in town! Great small town atmosphere, not loud, art all over the walls, friendly local owner and staff, good bagels/ muffins/etc, great beers on tap... My #1 choice in Pullman for coffee out, studying/grading, meetings (call to reserve their small separate room).
They got great staff! Theres also WiFi which I think is the best thing. it is a great place to stop by for morning coffee.
Great place for a coffee, light snack or simply killing some time. The service and friendliness of the staff; the owner in particular is so refreshing. It’s difficult to find that kind of personality in Pullman unfortunately and will keep me visiting time and time again. Keep it up Cafe Moro!
Great service, friendly staff, good baked and breakfast items. Starbucks could learn a thing or two.
A big fan of this place, as they have very knowledgeable staff and a fantastic selection of coffees and tea. With a smaller selection of pastries such as bagels and scones, everything I’ve tried here I’ve liked. Much larger than you’d expect from looking at the front, but maintains a cozy feel.
Visiting from out of town, brought here by a local friend. Stopped in on a cold day to have a warm drink and some chat. The warm drink was good (they liked the coffee, my hot chocolate was just fine), but did not feel welcome to stay and chat (even though we did). Plenty of chairs and tables, but seems to be more of a study room for the local students. At least 90% of them had laptop and binders out; got a few glares as we talked and laughed.
I love the location of this cute, downtown cafe. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One great feature as far as the layout of the place is how many different rooms there are to sit. You can be right in the front where the coffee making action happens, around the corner in a nice, open area with a great view of the surrounding businesses outside, in a more private study area with a large table (perfect for group cram sessions before exams), or outside. My favorite thing about Cafe Moro is that pets are welcome. And to top it all off the coffee is wonderful too!
Great service! Knowledgeable staff! They were very busy during the lentil festival and still had very prompt service!
Ive been a frequent of Cafe Moro since 2017 and can say without exaggerating that they have always gone above and beyond to deliver. Every time I come in, they are cheerful and accommodating, whether I know what I want to drink or not. The baristas know their stuff and make espresso like nobodys business, which, in my opinion is the best in the area. This is a great spot for putting your head down and studying, catching up with a friend on a coffee date, or just chilling on your own. I highly recommend this spot.
Great coffee and pastries! Cozy place, but can get pretty busy, and seating is tight inside. Outdoor seating is nice in the summer.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Cafe Moro. Ive enjoyed it since it was a single room (theyve expanded) and before it served alcohol. Theyre the only spot in town where they serve espresso in a proper cup (that may have changed, im not sure). Servers are nice and its not pretentious. Nice rooms for getting work done or just visiting.
Always love going here. The owner is super friendly and truly cares about his customers. I also love that he allows well behaved dogs to come in. Its great for socialization.
What a great coffee and a pleasant experience. It made us so happy. 😁🌸💕
Always an excellent experience in regard to the coffee, baristas, and local wine and beer selections. I regularly find myself writing or meeting with fellow researchers at Moro with a cortado in hand. The scones are made in house and are exquisite.
All of their food is made in house, you will be able to pet ~so many~ dogs, and their sparkling matcha rose lemonade is a revelation. There are lots of outlets, free wifi, and in the warmer months there is generous outdoor seating.
The selection of teas are as great as the coffee and what a great place to meet up with friends.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, the prices are a little high. Good atmosphere.
Gotten coffee to go and sat in and every time it is delicious. Honestly feels like a little home were you are welcomed in at the door.
I love Moro. Tyson and his staff are friendly and genuinely care about their customers. Tea and coffee are awesome, too. Try the lavender London Fog, yum!
I call Cafe Moro the Bucers of Pullman. The coffee made for me has always been good. I especially enjoy the ambiance and the availability of places to sit either by yourself or with friends. I can see why so many people use this as a place to be productive and study.
Sadly, I only discovered this place well into my senior year. Gotta go with the Cubano latte. Feeling indulgent? Get it with breve. Its a drink that gradually goes from rich espresso to a silky sweet finish.
Easily the best coffee you will find in the area, likely some of the best you will find in a much broader part of the region. The staff are great, and youll find many regulars and locals. (note: Oct 2018, still great)
What a nice spot! Great atmosphere, great coffee made your way. Tyson does a great job, so if hes working youre guaranteed to get a good drink!
Great service and coffee. Very relaxing place to chill with friends and family.
Great tea & scones. Fun place to just hang out & watch Pullman go by
Best Cold Brew on the Palouse. Hands down some of the best coffee and its not even in Moscow.
Amazing place! Probably the best coffee and chat in Pullman
Great atmosphere, good selection and good conversation. The barista was friendly, the wifi was decent, and theyre pet friendly! They even have fresh baked dog treats, and free lattes for your pet!
Nice little cafe with good coffee. I like to come here for studying. Owner is super chill, as are the staff.
Good drip and espresso drinks, and plenty of large tables for studying alone or in groups. They also have a group room you can reserve.
Great coffee. Bought the cold brew and it was delicious
Damn fine coffee. And bagels.
Really good espresso and fresh whipped cream. Staff was prett typically college town (young, learning to be professional & slllooooooooow). Nice quiet spot to work on your laptop.
Nice, welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly and skilled baristas. Tasty drinks.Definitely one of the best coffee houses in the area!
A nice coffee shop, great drinks, good baked goods, relaxed atmosphere.
One of Pullmans best spots to spend some time. Great beverages, relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent coffee. WiFi & tables for laptops/study. Enough caffeine to either get you a degree or a cardiologist. Very relaxed.
Fun place with lots of history!! I love this place!! Good food reasonably priced!
Nice place to have some coffee. Pet friendly
Exceptional espresso and baristas! Moro has been my go-to throughout my student experience at WSU. A great environment for studying and hanging out with friends. AND they are dog friendly (which my pup has LOVED). Thanks for all the free WiFi and caffeine-fueled hours!
Cafe Moro is by far my favorite place to grab a cup of coffee and relax here in Pullman. My favorite drink is most definitely the Frizz Coffee! Highly recommended place to go.
Best place, hands down, to get coffee in town☕❤
Great coffee (if you bring your own cup drip is $1) however, I love the Americano. They also sell beer on tap - cant beat that. The free WiFi is also the best in town. They have plenty of room with big tables to work at.
Great people and awesome coffee!
Ezcellent coffee and great service
Awesome little shop and the owner is very sweet. You can get your coffee in a real mug while you study and there are plenty of outlets to plug in your laptop!
Probably the best coffee in Pullman. Well worth the wait.
Some of the best espresso drinks on the Palouse, good service, good WiFi, great decor. Overall a very pleasant place to spend time. Best coffee shop in Pullman by far.
The quality of the coffee, from siphon extraction, cold brew, pour over, espresso and lattes, is only matched by the high quality of informative (occasionally sassy) service. Enjoy the baked in house goods with a coffee in the morning (a chai mini donut and dark drip go great together), the foccaccia bread sandwich in the afternoon, and stop by in the evening for a rotating draft beer! The happy hour (5-7 PM) prices are incredible.More than all of that, Moros hit on something special--an atmosphere that encourages conversation and connection. For this humble reviewer, Moro made Pullman feel like home.
Really good small town coffee
Very fun atmosphere and great hot chocolate.
Cafe Moro is a great place and very personal. The baristas know your name and serve a great cup of joe.
Great place serves coffee and beer, nice and quiet...
Great service and coffee was excellent.
This is my new favorite coffee shop. Shame its a town over from me. Still, totally worth the bike ride.
Best esspresso drinks and tea selection in Pullman. Friendly baristas. Nice artsy atmosphere to study or meet a friend. Great morning and afternoon pick-me-up!
You have to try their Flyboy. Its a great combination of chai, steamed milk, vanilla and espresso. Its definitely a favorite.
Cafe Moro is the best place to get coffee and relax.
Best service, best coffee in pullman. Call your parents, you wont need your family after you go to Moro--youll have a better one.
Best espresso in Pullman. And they have rather spicy chai!
Great coffee. Owner treats my mother real good
I like the environment of this coffee shop. The owner is really nice and he tends to talk your ear off but hes cool.
Great atmosphere, great coffee, lots of space, friendly staff and most importantly, dog friendly.
Coffee, tea, beer, wine, and housemade baked goods -- I came, I stayed, I conquered.
Great place to study and has great coffee.
Good coffee, friendly staff, nice place to study or hang out at.
Absolutely love cafe Moro and especially the fact that they allow dogs ❤️
Great coffee, owner is friendly, yummm, etc.
Great anti-starbucks coffee houseTasty spinach keeche.
Great and friendly service. Atmosphere is relax and welcoming.
Good coffee, good staff.
The atmospher is warm and inviting! The baristas are very kind and genuine! Really good coffee!
Best coffee in Pullman, with a great atmosphere. Perfect for a long study session or a coffee meet up with a friend.
Great coffee with talented baristas and cheap muffins. Not super cheap though
Best coffee shop in town. Tyson and his team are awesome.
The few times Ive been here the baristas have been extremely rude to me and fail to answer the simplest questions about their products. The coffee is sub par, even to small town standards.
Best coffee shop in Pullman by far. Whether youre ordering one of their specials like the Cubano or Flyboy or a simple drip coffee, this place wont disappoint.
Great little coffee shop with a great atmosphere!
Great coffee, local wine, and dog friendly!
Friendly! Comfy! Clean! And high quality
Fantastic place ton work quiet and friendly.
I was hoping CM would have kombucha but alas they didn’t. ): They did, however, have chai tea and because they use Oregon Chai, I will forgive them for the lack of kombucha. (:There was plenty of room to get done and I was digging the ambiance until two old-timey men came and in and began talking loudly about how “young people” are completely misinformed, then liken them to “nazi youth.” As someone who is A. in the generation they were referring to and B. Jewish, this was obviously more than offensive. Can’t really blame the cafe itself as they have little control over the patrons, but it certainly did cut my visit here short.
Great place to study or work from.
Great peeps and great coffee!
Coffee is ok. Kitchen smell and cooking smoke will stick to the clothes. A lot of seats and spaces.
Great atmosphere knowledgeable barista
