Coffee (chai with pumpkin spice) & a drip was good but the croissant was kind of bready rather than flaky and the breakfast sandwich was falling apart in my hands. Line was fairly slow moving, though everything came out very fast once we ordered.

High quality, staff is quick kind professional, reasonably priced, amazing food, beautiful interior which was clean and enough space. Bonus: WiFi and room to study! Its small and calming. Theres a few bar seating areas, some decent sized tables, and a cute bonus room to the side that offers good lighting and a little more quite which is great for studying and reading. Not your average cafe because of unique items like they sell chocolate torte, mushrooms, quiche, etc. Not expensive. Definitely a need to visit place.

Hair in my food. Gross! Used to come here a lot and I dont write reviews much but this is gross. It wasnt 1 hair, it was multiple pieces. Going to be finding another place. They talk a lot of being safe with Covid restrictions and yet were eating hair. No thanks!I dont really go around meeting employees or look at work spaces - thats the employers job. Regardless, the quality and presentation of the food should speak to the cleanliness of a workspace, kitchen and its employees. So......what do you think my experience tells me about those things? This was only my first or second time going to Roost. I enjoyed the coffee and the panini sandwich was amazing.

Bland tasting cappuccino... “homemade” almond milk was watery and flavorless. Noisy, cramped setting. Vibe wasn’t bad and pastries looked fresh.

This was our first time into Roost, the coffee and pastries were excellent and it was a fantastic environment, the baristas were very kind and I even mentioned how impressed I was. Unfortunately, we will probably not be back because of a quick I interaction we had with someone who seemed to be a manager. After we had left my husband popped back in to ask what section of the patio we could set on. He had his mask lowered but was clearly 6 feet away from anyone and was only popping his head in to ask a question. A lady whom I assume was a manager came in from outside and yelled “mask up”! She scolded him like a child, I was shocked by how rude she was. She ran out before either of us could say anything. I also work in the food industry and I know the importance and safety of masking up, but my place of work would never ever speak to a customer that way.

I love the atmosphere, coffee, teas, treats. It very welcoming and if you want to try new flavors in your coffee, or a yummy pastries just ask one of the girls and they will guide you. By the way they are starting to add glutten free items to their menu like the breakfast muffin in this picture.

I used to live in pullman and moved about 3 years ago. Roost was my favorite coffee shop in pullman and has remained great. They have wonderful food (sandwiches, pastries etc) and homemade syrups. Their clove syrup and lavender are my favorites, pure tasting without the artificial flavors you usually have.

This little coffee place is like no other! Fantastic indoor ambience adjacent with an outdoor patio and heater for cooler days. We came in with a very fussy infant, and the staff was patient and kind. My friend was looking for a baked good that didnt have dairy, but nothing was on hand at the time. Not to worry, we still ordered quiche and a ham cheese biscuit sandwich, both which were incredible! And then we were presented a complimentary chocolate mousse which was completely vegan - again, it was outstanding.Thank you, friends at Roost, for your service, as well as excellent coffee and food. You went above and beyond for us. Well be back soon!

Outstandingly delicious coffee, tea, cookie and bacon/cheese croissant. Service was not bad but not great, could be friendlier. Maybe just an off day? I would say the setting is hipster-ish. Could have been a little cleaner. Still give it a recommend and will go back anytime were in Pullman.

The new manager is absolutely horrible. I have overheard the new manager speaking to the baristas and she is rude, and disrespectful to her employees. I have only seen her there for about a month and she’s running the shop into the ground. Most of the baristas left after new ownership, and the quality of roost has only been getting worse (mainly coffee, and customer service) Before the summer of 2020, roost has been nothing but amazing.

Great coffee! They serve some of the best roasted coffee in the area, kamiak coffee, landgrove coffee, and dapper & wise. Outstanding service! Pastries baked fresh everyday. Pretty sure Ive gained 15lbs from coming here. You cant ever go wrong with one of the cinnamon rolls or the banana bars! If youre looking for something savory, get the breakfast sandwich and add cougar gold!The location is perfect as well. Right in downtown and close enough to university that if youre a student and want to step away from the campus its just a short walk and great little study space. Next door to Foundry, so if youre waiting for a reservation just step on over and treat yourself to some wonderful coffee!6 star review for sure!

I was so excited to try this place, but was extremely disappointed in the lack of seating. I literally sat at a small table in a dark hallway that they had as extra seating. The coffee shop itself only has a few bar seats and a couple of tables. The drip coffee was pretty good and parking for easy to find, but the employees werent very welcoming. If I try this place again, it will be to take my coffee to go.

I have been going to Roost for about 4 years now and unfortunately today was the last time I will ever go back. I used to love Roost especially the coffee and baked goods. However the last few times I have gone to Roost I have had horrible service by the same baristas. Today I was given a stale cinnamon roll (it didnt come from the case and was obviously heated up awhile ago because the frosting melted to one side also I didnt order mine heated up) and the last time I went there they completely forgot about my coffee and served everyone who ordered after me. Ive had more bad experiences here rather than good ones so Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Very eclectic coffee shop in Pullman. Small sized although there is additional seating outside the coffee shop but still inside the building as a whole. It is located in the downtown area and they do have good coffee.

The atmosphere, the people, the coffee, the baked goods- everything about this shop is the best! My favorite order is a lavender latte and a baked oatmeal with brown sugar and cream. But their orange rolls and ham & cheese croissants are also near and dear to my heart. I could eat there every day!

Always good coffee, fresh sandwiches and salads! The cheerful staff keep the place stocked with dog treats made from scratch, yum! Pets and humans always leave with a smile on their face. ☺️

The herb and cheese biscuit they make here is hands down the best biscuit Ive ever had, along with a ton of other great pastries and great drinks. They also used to have super good chai tea, but they changed their supplier a few years ago and their new chai tastes like soapy milk :(

I have been visiting Roost regularly now for several years, and I have always been very pleased with the customer service and atmosphere. The coffee is great and made by highly trained baristas, and the food is fantastic - made fresh and in-house.

Absolutely exquisite coffee.I love coming here for the variety of coffee roasters/blends they use and for the quality of their baristas. Roost is one of the best coffee cafes in the area. They make a mean cortado or macchiato.Their house-made baked goods are quite tasty.The environment is friendly but small. It is often hard to find a table and I treat it more like a European cafe—staying for only an hour before moving on to somewhere else.In the years I have gone to Roost, the only problem I have had is that the baristas sometimes forget to make my order and I will have to remind them ten minutes later, though they always rectify the problem in some way.

Best coffee and best bakery food in town by far. Service is always great, too- they ran out of the coffee beans I wanted so they gave me an extra half bag free! I stock up on their granola, too, to have with breakfast at home. It might be more expensive than other coffee shops in town, but let me tell you Ive *never* been disappointed with their food and beverages.

Very small and cramped. Service was ok. Stood at the counter waiting for service for several minutes before being helped. No friendly greeting, nor offered a receipt after purchase, more like was brushed off and left standing at the counter trying to figure out if I was done purchasing my drink. Consider going back but wont be my first choice.

The only coffee I drink in Pullman. Everything that can be is made locally, the barist(a/o)s are delightful, and it consistently a good atmosphere.

My $4 8 ounce cappuccino was Luke warm and about 70% foam. Had to shake it a bit to make sure it had something inside.

Bland over priced drinks, water tastes and smells like rust, won’t be going back again.
