I have been to both the Colfax and Pullman offices and the staff in both are wonderful!! They are very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone is very good at explaining any test or procedures you might be having done. They also keep appointments on time. They will also send reminder emails and text of upcoming appointments.

Ive been visiting Dr. Scott for more than two decades. In this case I asked for some extra time beyond my normal appointment because of age-related visual issues. Dr. Scott explained to me what was going on and made sure I understood what she was explaining. I really appreciate her efforts to go beyond a routine office visit to help me understand what was going on and what I had to look forward to (pun intended). Or perhaps what I might expect not looking forward to in the future as the eyes continue to deteriorate.

Even though the clinic was running a little behind they were always making sure I was taken care of and never left me thinking I wasn’t. Every step of my exam process each staff member was incredibly helpful and never made me feel like I was just being passed off. Even as busy as it was their care was seamless.

We have been going to Rolling Hills for several years and have nothing but good things to say about them. They take the time to listen to what the patients concerns are and incorporate that information as part of the exam. I like that we are not just a number to them. Very professional, yet still small town service. I usually see Dr Paulson and my wife usually sees Dr Scott and we really like them! The staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

Again, I found the staff at Rolling Hills Eye extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I found them very willing to work with me and did not feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. I really appreciated Jakes knowledge on choosing frames that work for your face shape, and even though they are perhaps more spendy than other places, I feel the expertise and helpfulness worth the extra cost.

First time visit with Dr. Walker and his staff, everyone was very attentive and professional. Everything was handled definitely to my expectations, I’m glad we made the switch!

After waiting a couple of months for an appointment I messed up and arrived an hour late, thinking I was on time. The staff quickly found a way to reschedule an appointment a few days later. When I arrived on time they were highly professional, the doctor was most attentive, and I had a great exam. Ive gone to other ophthalmologists in both Pullman and Moscow and this place beats them hands down.

I honestly cant tell you why this place has great reviews. My experience has been far from great. We waited over a month for our appointment, and then arrived to a doctor (a male, not the Suzanne other comments mention) that was unpleasant, and clearly didnt want to be there. The assistants seemed poorly trained, with the doctor reminding them more than once what the next step is, and there only seemed to be one that actually knew how to take the measurements properly (Im still not sure mine will fit right.) The assistant rushed my husband picking out his frames (like, psychically sighed loudly when he asked to look at another set of frames), and then again, only one of the three knew how to price the glasses correctly. We decided to pay for our glasses on pick up, great, they each came out to under $200 a piece. Fast forward to two weeks later, they call and tell us our glasses are ready, FOR $300 EACH! I explained the issue, and was told a manager would call me back. That was Tuesday. No call back. Then Friday, after no communication, I get an automated text for a pick up appointment for NEXT Friday (a week after they originally told us before never calling back). Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and I would recommend you look for eyecare elsewhere if youre worried about the care part.

Dr. Paulson explained very clearly the condition of my eyes when showing me the pictures taken. We had a good discussion for preventive care. I felt well taken care of.

Dr. Scott is an excellent optometrist, very knowledgeable and personable. She presented my options for improving vision and I very much appreciated having these to consider. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. COVID precautions are carefully followed.

Stay far far away. They will charge you more when go to pick up then you original agreed. At first I had a great experience. But that was short lived. I felt as if I was rushed finding frames. My wife and I both went there. The whole process and staff where off that day. They forgot to clean the prior to my wifes appointment. And kept forgetting to get information of not doing the pre test. The doctor seemed to be irritated the his team was dropping the ball. But the wost part is with my insurance they said my new glasses would be around $150 with my insurance but when the finally called to pick up they wanted $300 a pair. Where is the missing communication here . I told them to have there manager call me Tuesday and now its Saturday. Still no call and get a random text saying I have an appointment next week but they cant even call me abouta problem unprofessional. Nothing like getting charged $100 dollars more then agreed in when you go to pick up.

It is a little strange because of the covid but they are thorough and do a good job. My family really liked the eye doctor who knows a lot. Usually I have have to explain more about my eye surgeries.

The doctor is great, but someone wrote my prescription down wrong for my glasses order. When my expensive glasses arrived and looked wrong, they said it required an adjustment period but would look right eventually. Months later it is still a ridiculously wrong prescription—I think my axis measurement was written incorrectly. When I called to ask to double check the numbers they recorded with the numbers on my glasses prescription to see if that was the case, they said I’d have to come in and get examined by the same doctor again and it would be months from now because he’s booked up. I just want glasses I can wear and don’t need my eyes checked again, just to compare the numbers on my glasses info with the numbers they recorded. It’s been a long process even with Covid slowing in mind, which is disappointing because the doctor himself is pleasant and I don’t want to have to change! This amount of delay isn’t sustainable when it comes to getting glasses I can actually use, though.

I really appreciate when I put on some glasses and someone will tell me the truth about how they look! This is one place that I have no problem recommending to all of my friends and family.

Dr. Scott and her team at Rolling Hills Eyecare are the absolute best! I have serious eye problems that require care far beyond regular eye exams and prescription lenses. Dr. Scott has provided me with excellent care. In addition to being very knowledgeable about my specific issues, she and her staff provide outstanding customer service. They are all knowledgeable, caring, personable, and responsive. Although my insurance does not cover providers outside of Moscow and Lewiston, I continue to see Dr. Scott because she is by far the best eye care specialist I have seen in the area.

NO PUFF TEST. Thats right, never fear, they dont do the puff test here. This alone gets them a good review but the crew is also knowledgeable and friendly. The only bits I would say could be improved are that it took them a bit to actually become friendly, as at first interactions with the staff were strictly clinical, and there were some notes in my discharges that I would have expected them to go over during my appointment.Overall I am pleased and will definitely return :) Again, NO PUFF TEST PEOPLE.

I have been bring my children to Rolling Hills Eyecare for the past 17 years. They have always had always had a warm and caring environment. They show everyone respect and understanding. Theyve been able to devise a plan for my disabled child to accommodate her nonverbal needs. We are very pleased with our visits.

I have been going here for years and they treat their clients well. It helps that they make billing stuff easy as well! My doctor always seems to remember who I am even though I only go once a year and see them for less than 30 minutes.

I normally dont write reviews, but Im putting in the effort today because the service here is exceptional! I love that I feel like a friend and that Dr. Scott remembers things about me even though she meets so many people!! I feel cared for and respected and the eye care is always great!

Dr. Scott really listens to your concerns and bothers to explain what the tests are looking for. They dont aggressively push tests to glasses. The whole staff is professional and friendly. They take my pun jokes well enough, probably having seen them thousands of times.

The office is beautiful, the staff is always helpful, and Dr. Paulson is personable and knowledgeable. Ive never had an issue with billing. Ive never been oversold a product. There are plenty of good looking glasses to chose from. When I switched to contacts, they were happy to help teach me how to use them. I cant recommend this office enough.

I switched back to Rolling Hills Eyecare when I realized their schedule was much more conducive and flexible with my work schedule. I always feel like I’ve been given a thorough exam and explanation of my current situation. The follow up care I have received on the maintenance side of things is nothing short of perfection. I’m hard on glasses and I chose a pair of rimless ones and I’m regularly coming in to have them tweaked to keep the fit I’m looking for and never once have I felt like I’m a burden to their business. I’ll keep coming back for years to come.

5 stars for excellent diagnostics and superior assessments. Zero stars for patient ammenities. The austereness of the seating! All hard wood plank style with zip support....and no cushions or pillows. Mean spirited and ageist for anyone not an athlete...with a gluteus of steel. Patient comfort means nothing to these people. But they really do like their work, love eyes, eye diseases, and keep up with what is current. Should the toilet really be the most comfortable place to sit in the clinic? Are they too poor for pillows?

Lousy customer service, I was told it would take up to 2 weeks to get my eyeglasses, that was on May 16, 2014 as of June 19, 2014 I am still waiting, they said their lens crafters are not behind and that there is no reason for my glasses not to be done... still waiting. Tired of migraines from not having proper glasses.
