If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would.I was interested in trading in my old 2012 Dodge for a newer car and went to Fred Anderson Toyota because my sales person, Chris Paine, came into my store to buy some of my products! He proudly wore his Toyota name tag and we got to talking. He was laid back, passionate, and super friendly. Met him at Fred Anderson Toyota after my shift and he made the process incredibly natural and easy. He didnt make me feel pressured into purchasing a new car but instead gave me a lot of great information. He worked with my budget, was incredibly knowledgeable, and even spoke with me about things outside of cars. He was super relatable.Even the people who werent directly working with me (other sales reps, the receptionist, those in financing) were so nice and so welcoming.Im proud to say Im now the proud owner of a 2022 Toyota Corolla!Will definitely recommend Fred Anderson Toyota to anyone and everyone!

Updated Review: 9/7Brought our car in that very same afternoon and the service director, Shawn, personally greeted me. He made sure the issue was fixed. When I picked up the car, he offered me a complimentary detailing on next visit —but most importantly, he was sincere and apologetic and the car and car engine was clean! We appreciate the prompt gesture to make this right. Thank you for taking care of your clients!————————————Went there for service on 8/23 and they didn’t put the engine oil cap back properly. Had to find out today with a strong odor from our vents and white smoke coming out of our hood while driving. When we opened the hood this is what it looked like!

I had a great experience with Duane in sales and for anyone looking for a new Toyota I recommend Fred Anderson Raleigh and call Duane!I bought a new Tacoma last week and have been working on updating wheels and emblems. Ive been in Parts a couple of times and they seemed like they were interested in doing business with me. Today a guy seemed genuinely interested in finding and making sure I had the right pieces. The first purchase was wheels so it makes sense to buy those locally to avoid shipping but my experience made it much more likely that Ill shop locally with them in the future instead of a big online store.

I purchased a new Sienna on October 1, 2021, because our family needed a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I chose Fred Anderson Toyota because this location services my current car, and I have been pleased with the service department. Carlos D was the salesperson, and he provided excellent customer service. Even when I did not speak to Carlos directly, the sales team was consistently efficient and helpful. My disappointment stems from the financial aspects of the purchase. Due to time constraints, I opted to trade in a well-maintained 2002 BMW 530i with 60K miles and some cosmetic damage - only to receive a credit of $500. I also felt rushed through the financial and contractual paperwork; in fact, I did not receive explanations for every service contract added to the final bill. Furthermore, while we were signing multiple documents, the signatory stated: The best thing about the pandemic? It got rid of all the tire kickers - you know, the people who kick the tires and dont end up buying. As a nurse, I disagree - and submit that during times of adversity, a business may be judged by whether it takes care of its customers or takes advantage of them.

Tried to work with Fred Andersons online group to purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately when I asked questions and did not just blindly go with their offer they ghosted me. Not a good sign of the type of customer service they offer. Advise strongly to go to Leith Toyota for better and responsive service or even better, just go elsewhere.

My experience here was very good. I found a vehicle online, made the trip up there and ended up purchasing the vehicle. Everyone was truly exceptional to work with especially the finance person. Im rebuilding my credit and was willing to accept having to pay a higher interest rate to get the vehicle. The guy I worked with went above and beyond to get me the best rate I could possibly get. I ended up saving almost close to $200 a month from what I initially thought I would get. I was beyond satisfied and glad I went to Fred Anderson Toyota. I will tell anyone go here and if you have half the experience I did it will be a great one. I thank everyone involved in my deal for making it a pleasurable one!

I had an appointment with the service department to have my car serviced. When I arrived not one person greeted or even looked at me (I am unsure if this is how the service department works but it was my first visit and was unsure of where to go). When I went up to someone for help, they were asked me what I was there for. I told them that I was there for my car to be serviced, I had gotten my oil changed else where and wanted to ensure that my car was running smoothly. They asked me again why I was there, and what I was concerned about (they said this in a rude tone, but everyone has bad days so I wasnt too upset at this point). I told them again that I was there for my car to be serviced and that it is making a noise when on the highway. They told me it would be 150 for labor and it might take until 7. 20 minutes or so into the appointment they called my phone and asked where I got my oil changed, I told them Jiffy Lube and they said I sure hope they changed your oil (again unnecessary and rude). They then said Your check engine light is on, what do you want me to do about that? (I am at a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP I would hope that you would know what to do). I said that I would like them to make sure my car is okay and turn it off I guess. When i went out, It was as if they were a whole other person. They were happy, peppy, complimented my sweater. They then TOUCHED my sweater without asking, in the middle of a pandemic. Then told me that I need a new transmission. (for reference my car is a 2013 corolla with 107K miles) They said it would be almost 4600 to replace and do i have that money with me. I said I didnt. They then charged me 200 for labor ( I thought that it was 150 but didnt kick up a fuss). They had the tech come over and told me how to handle my car (which I did appreciate and is the only reason I am not giving one star). As I was leaving I heard them both talking about me, and how much they were going to make off the sale. I felt like I was seen only as a paycheck. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a dealership, and will never return. I hope that this dealership treats others better than the treatment I got.

What a fantastic experience! I recently purchased a 2021 Highlander at the Fred Anderson Toyota dealership with the help of Alfredo Garcia. My vehicle at the time was 12 years old so it had been a while since I’d gone through the car buying process. I was skeptical and NOT looking forward to it because it can be daunting for many reasons. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with information and like the salesman is just trying to sell you every last feature under the sun to help their numbers. Not this dealership and not Alfredo. I can’t say enough great things about the experience I had! Alfredo was attentive, walking me through the “new” process of buying a car. He helped me customize it and explained all the packages and features. He patiently answered any questions I had, understanding that people spend a lot of money to get a new car. He was warm and friendly, never rushed me. Once I placed my order for my car and left, he kept in contact, updating me on the vehicles progress and possible arrival to the dealership. Alfredo had predicted 20-30 days and it arrived in 23! Once it arrived, he let me come back a few times to test drive it and think it over. I never felt pressured to hurry and make a decision. I had another car to look at, which I made sure Alfredo was aware of. He didn’t try to talk me out of any other car or oversell his. He pointed out a few differences and why Toyotas were known for their safety and holding their value. I and my wife needed a car and started searching for a used one. We were getting very disappointed because the used cars market is very heated, and the prices are very high right now. Also, the dealerships we looked at before going to Fred Anderson, didnt have a good service. Their website was never updated and when we got to the dealership to look for the car, it was never there. One time they said it was on service, other it was on another location.When we got to Toyota Fred Anderson, I was immediately impressed with the location, the building was really nice and the lot was very well taken care of. As soon as we stepped into the building, Preston Elmer immediately took care of us. He offered coffee & water, showed us their options, and explained why we should have gone for a new car.After seeing the options and doing a test drive with customer service, it was a no-brainer decision. We ended up buying a brand new Corolla 2022. We did all the paperwork and left the store with the car in less than 3 hours.Amazing experience and it surpassed our expectations, especially based on our previous dealership experiences.As Brazilians that had never bought a car here in the USA, we were a little afraid about the whole process, but Preston explained all the details more than once.I would definitely recommend Fred Anderson to anyone looking for good service and variety. I recently had an appointment for an alignment and state inspection. I was advised the appointment would take between 60-90 minutes but could be up to 2 hours. After waiting more than two hours and receiving no updates, I called the service line to check on my car. The agent stated they would have my advisor contact me as a follow up. I did not hear back from the advisor, so I looked for her and she told me it would be 10 more minutes. After waiting another 30 minutes, she advised it would be 20-25 more minutes to start and finish the state inspection. In all, I ended up waiting over 3 hours for an alignment only. The agent stated there was a covid related issue that caused the back up . She discounted the cost of the alignment which I appreciate but the lack of communication and overall experience was disappointing.

Everyone was amazing. They genuinely helped with no pressure to buy. I went in to just look at some cars and get some questions answered. The experience was so amazing I went back and bought my car. A week later I went to the service department because I thought I needed windshield fluid. They showed me where the button was and assured me nothing was wrong with not knowing. After several months of searching, we finally found our 2021 Highlander at Fred Anderson Toyota (Raleigh). Fred Anderson not only had our Limited trim in stock, it was perfectly equipped, and priced far below what every other dealership within a 250 mile radius was asking.Alan Milliken-King was the consummate professional; answered our many questions, assisted us with our trade, and even came in on his day off to finalize the process!We appreciated Alan’s costumer service even more when, after leaving the dealership, he called to let us know that my husband had inadvertently left his prescription glasses in the door of our trade. Alan offered to mail the glasses to us, but thankfully we were close enough to the dealership to turn around and pick them up at the front desk.We drove off the lot with our dream car and a satisfaction not usually found when car buying. This Dealership is a Joke...I have dealt with 4 dealers in my shopping experience in the last 2 weeks and all dealers have offered me between 24800 to 25700, I call this dealer to try and work a deal on a hellcat and the salesmen was nice but the Used car manager or whoever appraised my car hit it at 20k. I understand if it is a tad bit lower but 5 grand lower then 4 other dealerships across the US. These guys are looking to rip you off and and are very proud of it. They have their cars marked up and arent even close to CarMax appraisals and we all know they are low as ever. I spent 25 years in the business and normally I wouldnt even mention this but if your trying to do a trade they will go 5000 below trade in value to make crazy money so please be careful with these people.

I didn’t buy a car from here but had a great experience with Zeke - he didn’t pressure me at all to do anything and encouraged me to go with my gut. I test drove a Camry I’d researched online but I didn’t end up buying. Never felt judged or anything, and now I’ve gone and bought a car at Mark Jacobson instead and had a very mixed experience there and kind of regret going, so planning to come back to Fred Anderson next time!

He is one badass, honest, straight forward professional.Knowledgeable, funny, personalized service and goes the extra mile. The service department continues to be slow. I’d recommend never planning to wait for your vehicle. I purchased my vehicle here in 2017 and have brought it here for all of my services. The times I have waited for my vehicle it has taken 5+ hours. Once for a routine 60k service and today for a nail in my tire and an inspection for a safety recall. Usually, the person that checks you in leaves or goes to lunch and someone drops the ball on calling you to let you know your vehicle is ready. Last time I was here I went for a run around the dealership and hung out for 4 hours. Every time I went to check in my service manager wasn’t there and someone said they would have him call me but he never did. Finally the last time I went in to check on the status someone said my service manager left a few hours ago and that my truck service had been completed a couple hours before. Extremely frustrating. They don’t care about customer satisfaction. Today I came in with a nail in my tire that needed to be replaced since it was under warranty I wanted to come back to the dealership. Had to make an appointment 4 days away, then I get here today only to find out they don’t stock the tires they sold me anymore and they will have to order a new one. Then they proceeded to tell me I had to drive home on my tire that needed to be replaced. Doesn’t seem like they were looking out for the safety of their lifetime customers. This dealership is only concerned about volume not quality.

I would give Fred Anderson Toyota ten stars if I could. We have bought three vehicles from the dealership, and will go back when we need another. The sales team is great to work with, the finance guy is top notch, and the service team takes exceptional pride in their work. Its so cool that I get a video of my new 4RUNNER on the lift with the service tech telling me that everything looks good. Love it!

If you want to finance your car purchase, avoid Fred Anderson Toyota, because their Financing Department is messy, and their work style is disrespectful to customers.After having signed sales papers for a used Toyota Tacoma, my husband who is timid, and not fluent in English, was sent home without the car, which was located in Sanford, and without any papers. While the car was delivered to by the salesman later that evening, the papers were sent 3 days later. Upon review, we discovered that a $4000 was added to the advertised price of the car, for warranty and service contracts. Nothing like that was explained upfront during papers signing. The financing clerk who prepared the papers did not ask my husband if he agrees to that, she just made him sign. Our immediate phone calls to the department were sent to a full voice mail box. When we arrived in person, and requested removal of the non-obligatory warranty and service plans, we were treated with hostility, and the clerk tried first to convince us to wait 3 months before canceling the plans (no logic in that). My impression was that she mistook our non-fluent English with stupidity. Speaking loud and fast, and using professional jargon is typical form of intimidation. When we insisted on removal the $4000, she shoved a cancellation form towards us, and exclaimed you are done here!. No words of explanation (again) of what would happen next. Over 3 weeks later, this loan is still not resolved, not fixed.

Id been searching for a truck for a decent price for months, ended up taking a look at a Silverado on their pre-owned lot. The salesman Sam was nice and let me over analyze on what options I had, the manager Terrance was very helpful getting me a good price and finance options and making me feel comfortable so I didnt have to worry with the upcoming holidays, and the finance manager Steven was great answering my questions and explaining things to me. Toby was 1st class in every facet of the sales experience. So stay with me on this one. If you get Dom as your sales person thats good. If you get Terrance as your sales manager request someone else. He will sales talk you, belittle and talk down to you. He will act as your best friend but I dont need friends like him. He told me miss information. He charged for tires on the car I was trading in even though I found multiple cars on the lot with less tread. My daughter loved the car whom I bought it for so had to really look past him and he didnt make easy to do. Sterling in finance is new but very good to deal with. Would I recommend them, I honestly dont know. I would say do your homework. Know how much your trade is worth (dont rely on there estimator), what APR you qualify for and check the vehicle over carefully. Make sure to get an we owe you if you find anything. Good luck!?

Would have been 5 stars but didn’t like the fact that the internet price didn’t include the “Zurich” paint/fabric protection that was a “mandatory” $899 on the purchase quote. High prices and lies are what this place can offer you.Went there to purchase a vehicle, salesman barely makes any effort to be personable and pretty much says that since there are so few cars, they sell themselves. Doesn’t try to sell the car or talk about features.Fast forward to talking about price, they show me a paper, okay not too bad but let’s see what kind of deal I can actually get.He leaves with the paper after I tell him where I want to be at. The paper he brings back is 3k over the previous page. And apparently the “MSRP” is the exact same as the final price of the previous paper. Strange. I ask for a price breakdown sheet to give him a chance to come clean. He leaves and gets the sheet. Same page. So I ask him why the price is obviously higher than the first number? Apparently the system messed up the calculations. Right. But it took me pretty much interrogating him for him to come up with that story or to come clean? Any salesman or dealership worth working with would admit their mistakes upfront. This kind of shady nonsense is unsatisfactory. Afterwards, he pretty much didn’t want to work with me since I caught them red handed. Told them I was working with another dealership, since they never asked and mentioned that their price was lower than you guys. He said prove it, okay no problem. Takes out the page and says they can match the final price. Yeah no thanks. I’ll get a better deal with more honest salesmen at another dealership.Long story short, they got caught red handed and then puffed up their chest to defend their ego instead of owning up. Don’t give money to people like this.

Let me just say buying a car is a scary big deal to someone that has never purchased a brand new car before!! I got approvals from several dealerships in the area but couldn’t find a car. I got in contact with Joe M. and he changed the game for me! I missed my initial apt with Joe so I got to work with Chris P who was also amazing! The process went super quick and smooth!! They both definitely eased my anxiety with the new purchased and showed me all the cool things my 2021 Toyota could do!! Either one is great to work with so go see Joe or Chris!!! I wish 0 stars were an option. I don’t want to give this dealership any more thought or attention than I already have; but people need to know how shady and crooked they are.My wife found a car she liked and while it wasn’t in stock, it was in shipping. We paid $1000 after being told we could get that money back if we changed our mind (got it in writing). My wife had absolutely zero intentions of every changing her mind. For one, new cars are hard to find right now and the car she was buying was her dream car. After very little negotiation we paid the deposit and had all prices and fees in writing. What could go wrong?? Well, after Fred Anderson Toyota received the car (2 weeks later than they said but likely because her salesman was on vacation), they informed us that they put options on the car we specifically said we didn’t want. Instead of removing the options, they instead said we’d have to pay for them and not even at the sales prices they were offering. Basically, I think they knew they could sell the car for more to someone else with all the options and for more money. Instead of honoring what they agreed on, they tried to make us pay more. My wife, sticking to her principles (as sad as she was about the turn of events), said she wanted her money back. Well, after 2 weeks, numerous calls and messages, fearing we were going to have to contact an attorney; a sales manager finally agreed to give the money back. They were not going to give it back and I don’t think they ever intended to do so. It was persistent calls and understanding we were determined to get our money back, that prompted them to what they said they’d do.In summation, most dealerships are shady with pricing and options, but Fred Anderson Toyota was hands down the worst! They wasted enough of our time and gas that I vow to tell everyone considering a new car about them.Salesman: Devon ScarsboroughSales Manager: JimmySteve Martinez is the sales manager who apologized and got our money back in 2 hours (while the other jokers put us off for 2 weeks). It was the only time we spoke with him.

Really disappointed in the follow up AFTER the sale.Sales associate never thanked us after we meet with the F&I guy who tried to sell us additional services but failed to credit us our deposit at the time of sake.We’ve owned the vehicle for 3 weeks and again, we’ve nut heard from the sales associate as to how we like the vehicle or do we have any questions.When we purchased this vehicle we did it on the premise that we will purchase another vehicle when it’s available, but it will not be from them.Terrible after the sale follow up.

Very pleased with our experience in purchasing a used SUV from Fred Anderson Toyota last week. Our sales rep, Marcus, was great to work with and went to a lot of trouble to ensure we saw the vehicles we came in to see despite their not being quite ready for the showroom so to speak. Also a kudos to both sales managers we worked with, Sterling and Taylor (I think those are their first names….sorry if I messed that up). They were both very pleasant and great to work with. Also a shout out to the service staff for finding and fixing a minor brake drum issue the day after we purchased. They were very pleasant about it and there was no charge. We are very HAPPY with our whole experience with this dealership and highly recommend them.

I am in San Diego and really wanted a very specific 4Runner; dealers out here have hardly any and I found Fred Anderson of Raleigh watching their YouTube videos on 4runners. I searched their website and they had a ton of them; so I put my name in to request some information on one and within 1 minute Preston Elmer called me. I explained to him what I wanted and he showed me how to build online at Toyota. Then after we build it he said he find one or I could order it. They found one and made the process the easiest thing I have ever done to buy a car. He was great; the finance manger was great also. I highly recommend Fred Anderson Toyota.

Take your vehicle some place else for service, I have not had one nice service experience in 6 years.Once again this is the worst service around. What they sell you and what you get are not the same. Supposed to get free oil changes for life based on the Fred Anderson Family Plan. But they tie it to regular service, so Im getting a 40,000 mile service I wont hit for another year.So now I wait for almost two hours for a simple oil change. With a scheduled appointment that only gets you to someone that enters your name into a computer. The appointment is useless.Fred Anderson Family Plan is a scam. Dont buy it, its a waste of money.

Bought a brand new Sienna and had a really great experience. Texted with Chris Paine in the morning, set a time to come in and meet him, was looking at the car 10 minutes after I got there, drove it home less than four hours later with cross bars added on. Good work and fast service but abysmal covid precautions. Wearing of masks is mandated by Wake county. I can see enforcement being an issue with clients but its sad when neither employees or management cares enough to even try to protect their coworkers or clients. All employees had masks but easily 30% of them wore them under their noses or hanging under their chins.

I’ve had an extremely unpleasant experience at Fred Anderson Toyota. I spent 4 hours in their service center on Thursday because my battery light was on. They did not fix my battery and instead gave me two new tires and an oil change. Three hours later my car completely broke down. I have wasted hundreds of dollars and hours of my time here. Don’t waste your time going here. I ended up getting mine towed to CarMax where the experience has been 100% better.
