Great Store! This may be the Largest Aldi store on the East Coast. It is incredibly clean! These Supermarkets are run much more Efficiently than the typical American supermarket, which is why they only need 3 employees, on the floor at one time. Bring your own Box or Bags for your groceries no bags are given.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Good German options. Just be sure to bring a quarter (for the cart) and reusable shipping bags! Prices the best around for sure!

Love this place. They have a great selection of meat and fish. Veggies and fruit are fresh. Selection is good. I love being able to get all my Italian favorites in one place. The only drawback is that it is very pricey.

If you like off-brand products, this is the mini-grocery store for you. Prices are kept in check because almost every product is from a manufacturer youve never heard of. Still the produce is fresh and the selection adequate. Aldis are smaller than most competitors and you have to bring your own bags or buy one. They also charge a quarter to use the shopping cart. Its great in that its never crowded and the stores feature wide aisles and bright lighting.

This aldi location is not even a year old It has terrible service or nor know anything when you ask them a question. Usually out of cart sanitising wipes. I got yelled at When I retrieved my own wipe From an empty register isle. This location never has any of the advertised Special items

ALDI is not a place to go to get everything on your grocery list, but you can probably find the majority of what you seek. For example, they sell fruits and vegetables but dont expect them to have good quality apples, bananas and oranges all at the same time. There are some incredible bargains to be had if you are not picky about brand. Recommended.

New store...big place and has a lot of produce...prices seemed reasonable...not fond of shopping coz u have to have ur own shopping bag

Does ALDI have a policy that mandates its clerks to rush pack and throw your groceries in the cart at checkout?I’m borderline traumatized each time I get on the line for checkout in anticipation of this experience.There’s a clerk that vigorously throws my groceries in the cart every time at checkout. I ask her to please be careful not to damage them but she continues. Today, (12/21/20 @ approximately 6:36p) I experienced this hopefully for the last time. I’ve frequented this branch several times since it’s opening and as a ALDI consumer for years I want to continue patronizing this location. I just don’t think it’s fair to go home with groceries that have been compromised or damaged.If someone from corporate reads this review, please please I ask that this practice be corrected. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who experienced this but I don’t think anyone should. Overall, I’m so happy an ALDI store opened at this particular location! It’s clean and the atmosphere is calm.P.s. No more than 2 people are ever waiting behind me. The rush is puzzling.-Andra

This is one of my two favorite grocery stores. Lots of parking. The store aisles are wide. The selection of products are terrific. Who needs 100 different choices? At Aldi they have one or two choices for most items and some of the best prices around.

Came in today for the first time. All of the packaged vegetables had mold growing inside. I won’t be back again.

I was in an Aldi on time prior, a few years ago and wasnt impressed, but when the Ramsey location opened up, I opted to try again.I am very impressed with the quality and prices, along with the cleanliness. The associates are very courteous, and I enjoy discovering unique finds. What I like, first and foremost, is how quickly I can find items and get my shopping completed. I believe that American-owned grocery chains can learn a thing or two from this successful, well-managed German-based operation. Mega stores, spending lengthy periods in public places and crowds are a turnoff, especially during our current situation amidst the pandemic. Bottom line; if you havent already done so, Aldi is definitely worth checking out.

Today was my first time at an aldi’s when I entered I must say it was like a discount grocery store but it was clean I will give them that and it was very neat and organized. It was a decent experience and I felt relaxed and comfortable UNTILL I GOT TO THE CHECKOUT!!! At that point it was all down hill from there first of all the clerk that checked me out was beyond rude. And in this day and age with Covid going on they take your cart and give you the one that the person before you had REALLY PEOPLE !!!! what is wrong with this picture I took the time to clean my cart with my own Lysol wipe before I took it into the store and now you want me to use someone else’s cart that could be infected? When I told the checker I wanted to use my own cart she said no there was no time for that and proceeded literally to throw my things in the other cart unfortunately they are not taught to handle your stuff gently she just threw it in and damaged a few of my things. Mind you there was only one person behind me.Needless to say I will not be go back in there again.

The store offers an array of fresh product including: produce, European cheeses, deli meats and breads. Ive shopped in several Aldi stores and have liked them all. This one in Ramsey NJ opened in April 2020. Its very clean, wide aisles, good selections, low prices. Definitely worth checking it out.

The best part about it (from someone who doesnt typically eat German food) was the prices. Id go again for the sweets, meat, etc. The biggest problems I had while there were the fact that there wasnt a wide variety of produce. I noticed the grapes were wrinkly and the potatoes had already started growing eyes. The reason I might not ever go back was for something I didnt notice until a few days after I got home. I was about to have some pasta when I noticed our ricotta had already been opened and some of it had been removed.

Quality food at a very low cost. I have been shopping at ShopRite for over 25 years they cannot compete with Shop Rite prices

Nice store, it’s really meant to be a super market. It is more of a medium size store usually found in Europe. It was clean and lines were fast. Prices low. Only bad thing is you need a quarter to use a shopping cart

Quite underwhelming actually. Was thinking Trader Joes or similar, which it is clearly not. Clean, bright, easy to maneuver around. Folks will like it for sure, but not for me.

Went in to get some chocolate and I paid with cash. Unfortunately I didn’t have the exact change in my wallet. The cashier told me I need to come in with exact change next time. She also rang me up wrong. I won’t be coming back here. Terrible first experience for a brand new store.

This store is so clean and big. They participate with instacart so you can have your groceries delivered to your home. Very friendly customer service, I was able to get the assistance I needed.

Great to have this unique store in the area. They have social distancing well labeled and the staff were quick to help with locating items.Remember to check the Aldi Finds weekly! It’s like a prize wheel to see what’s coming.

I was super excited when I saw Aldi opening. Like others have said, everything there is good quality with good prices. Im not sure whether its because its brand new, but it seemed not to be very well stocked. Again, that could be because it opened so recently.The other thing that disappointed me was the lack of plant-based foods. I dont think I saw any Beyond or Impossible burgers, or anything similar. There were a few options for non-dairy milk and I think two flavors of non-dairy ice cream. There werent any non-dairy cheeses or yogurts that I saw.TLDR: good quality groceries, great prices, possibly understocked (?), not so great on selection for lactose intolerant people or meat-free people.

This is a nice, newer Aldi. Everything was well spaced and organized. Cashiers did their best to keep the lines moving and people well distanced.

Great to have an Aldi in the area! Make sure you read about the business model before you complain about no name brands. Most of their items are from Germany and they are the same family as trader joes, so whoever left the comment below has no.idea what she is talking about. They pass on all their savings to the customer. Go to shop rite if you want to get price gorged.

Best Aldi I’ve visited out of maybe 10 locations....Large, lots of fresh produce, wide aisles, no crowds. To those complaining there’s nothing healthy there; there is a surplus of fruits and veggies. Just like any supermarket, plenty of prepackaged things to stay away from, but plenty of frozen hidden treasures such as frozen veggies and frozen fruit. It’s more of Trader Joe’s meets Walmart pricing. A good amount of organic items, you can definitely do all of your shopping here. I have always purchased meat from butcher, so I can not comment on their meat, but they carry the same brand organic chicken as Whole Foods. Before you bash ALDI, understand that it didn’t open up to compete with Shoprite; this German grocery store has been in the states for a while, no surprises at this location! Paper goods are great quality and ALDI always sells fresh flowers at an unbeatable cost.
