A very large dollar tree! Big inventory. Lots of frozen food and groceries. The craft section is really great! I even found large posters. The candy selection is grand an the building Is also in a nice location.

I came in for two items....left with over 20! The store is on the smaller side, but has lots of good stuff. So much in the toy and craft aisles! Plus great items for shipping. I will be back!

Pros: it’s a dollar store. And conveniently located on Folsom Blvd.Cons: the store is always a disaster. Especially around holiday times. There are messes everywhere almost every aisle has tripping and slipping hazards. With some mid aisle displays I’m sure it isn’t ADA compliant.If you buy anything edible from here make sure you check the dates too. And check for opened or altered packaging. Again it’s what you can expect from a dollar store I guess.

Impulse buys to the max, this Dollar Tree location is huge, and seemed to be well stocked and shelves overflowing with great little trinkets (did Santa say stocking stuffers?)as well as essentials! Disorganized and difficult to find some items, some staff members seemed to be apathetic while others were very friendly.

This is a really large dollar tree. Definitely the best one in the area.

21/1 1st time review, but customer past 30 years:-- While this is an older location thats long in the tooth, theres no specific reason to deduct a star as the place is clean inside/out (given the nature of a dollar-store), plenty of selection, nice staff, and decently quick checkout.

Always busy, always nice staff, Theyre abiding by Covid precautions and has stocked shelves! Ill be a repeat customer!

Very dirty this trip merchandise flung on the disgusting floor. Floors look to have not been cleaned in a long while! Seemed very understaffed. But the gentleman cashier was very nice thats the only reason Im not giving 1 star. Wish I would have taken pictures 😖

Dollar Tree always has whatever Im looking for and its always only a dollar not like the 99 cent store and the employees are pretty cool

There are no hours posted at the door here. There is only a big sign saying OPEN, which then says its open to fill your essential needs. Its misleading, and surprising that management is unable to realize it.

Low on stock in some areas. People were friendly. Store was busy.

The staff there are surprisingly helpful, from the guy stocking the shelf who went out of his way to help me to the lady who was on her break but still offered to help me. Then there was the very personable cashier. I had to pause and write a review. I never find customer service like this anymore.

I enjoy knowing what I will spend and a great variety of items to choose from. You can always find new items in the store. The items mostly work and are cheaper then many places. The Toys are not always the best. but they are fun and a dollar. Thanks Dollar Tree.

I did find what I was looking for but after I stood in line and only had one person in front of me the cashier said that she only took cash because her system was down. It would have been nice if she would have told us before we stood there for a good minute.

Update 9/28/2021: This location is no longer in businessA bottle of Ajax opened on me and I got that stuff everywhere and the girl that helped me was so nice and got me a new things and had to do a huge cleanup and I felt so bad. Highly recommended this place the customer service was over and above!

I have been here a few times and always find what I am looking for. This is definitely a quick stop store if you need it. The cashiers are very nice and get you out the door fast and painless.

This store is very well stocked. The shelves are neat and orderly. It was easy to locate all of the various products as they were displayed well.

The cashier was great! Very friendly and fast! Also one of the other workers pointed out some Rachel Ray dishes they had in which was really cool of her!

Store is messy most of the time as you can imagine. Also be careful to look over your receipt after purchases because the cashier rang me twice for an item. I didn’t realize until the next day when I went to scan my receipt for my coupon app and noticed he scanned me twice. So watch out for that

There are good deals to be had here.This store is usually in shambles and always a wait at the register. The outside isnt much better.Good place if you are close and need something.

Store was unclean, poorly stocked and cashier unfriendly

Great products everything was fine until my son put his hands in the cooler to grab a soda and the fan didnt have a top to it and it cut my sons finger the blades are made out of metal. I told one of the workers and she told the manager Ezeel about the incident she was nice enough to get and bandaid but it seemed like he didnt care. My idea of me letting him know was so he could fix it so no one else would get hurt but to him that was not a concern its sad how they have managers managing a place that are not qualified for the job how sad that we have people working at places like this where families come in and are not helped by a manager shame on you please take action before someone seriously gets hurt how disappointed am I from the person running it please believe that I will be calling sacramento environmental management.

Had not visited this dollar store in a while. The selection is pretty standard with a decent themed area. They only had one lane open and check out wait time was long.

Its the Dollar Tree. You know how it is. This one has been here for years and is still clean. Actually they keep the shelves more organized than I remember in my childhood shopping at this store.

Stood in line EARLY this morning 22 minutes. Guy checking out in front goes out to get wallet. Instead of ringing others up cashier just waited. There were now 11 people behind me in line. No call for backup. If I hadnt already spent about 40 mins in the store, I would have walked. Funny thing, I walked around the store waiting for the line to finally go down. Ugh!

Great selection with everything but food :) they carry balloons. They Dont have a customer bathroom. Staff is Awesome.

Prices are just that, $1.00 for all most items. Good selection of food, pet supplies, household, craft items and toys. Very courteous employees.

Not too good for tidying up their products. Stuff is messy that a picture frame fell on my child head. Lucky that she didnt have serious injury.

Very close to Walmart, it is aptly located in center of the town and has all needs and items for per dollar needs. However, this store doesnt have the entire range of products that you see in other dollar tree stores

Well the cashiers are absolutely AWESOME, however the Hispanic Manager is very lazy and totally seperated from his crew. I never see him with name tag on and I asked him his name and he responded why? I dont shop here because the lines are always absurd. However I must confess as far as your regular sales reps your Cashiers they are on time all the time. I just think as a consumer that its crappy that the employees have to consistently apologize four long lines when your manager is just standing around looking silly Im just saying. What really makes this situation bad on a corporate level is that theres a 99 cent store that is half a mile away with managers that help their team and they get more people shopping because of the promptness and check out. I was in this location last week and one checker right before the holiday took me 45 minutes actually thats when I started Counting to get to the front of the cash wrap. Thats a problem and your managers sitting there stocking shelves that is a big problem shelves can wait get your customers out.

Employees did not handle a veteran and his service dog. Cashier insisting the dog exit the store. Obvieously this vet is having a lil ptst. This should have been handled better by the manager instead of walking away from the man. He did continue shopping, I just wanted you to know that this is unacceptable. Also federal law..

Going into this dollar store in Rancho Cordova... on Coloma and Folsom...I was surprised... the people were nice in there and not just the people that worked there but the actual customers were nice...and the only thing I see wrong with the place... is that they dont have carts that you can take out to your car to drop your stuff off... Im in a wheelchair so it makes it very difficult for me to carry three bags of things to my car ...now I had a customer that was ready to help me ...but not anybody working in the store was willing to help me... so that says a lot for the customers but not the help of the store... I know its not their job to help customers out to their cars but Im in a freaking wheelchair... you think thered be some kind of compassion...

It was a pretty big store& a wide selection of household, to gifts party goods, ect. It was clean & organized & I could find everything I needed to.

The wheelchair ramp is away from their entrance and they often have things in the aisles that interfere with those who are mobility impaired. Otherwise great selection and great value.
