This store is much needed in the neighborhood.I have been a customer for about 10 years.Its very accommodating for household items, cosmetics, quick personal items etc.with afforfable prices. The staff through out the years are sometimes great and sometimes maybe not. However one manager, Mr Meech is always helpful and professional. The store was very well equipped through the pandemic also.The store appearance is no messier than any other Dollar General or Family Dollar.I have seen the employees work very hard to stock the shelves with their shipments in a timely manner. During their closng i pray tnat they have satisfied the Heath Departments orders.They were really missed and i am Happy about tne reopening..

Stopped by today and saw a note on the door saying it was closed by the Baltimore County Health Dept due to a pest infestation. Gross. The store was always a mess but never saw roaches/rats.

This store always seems to be understaffed. Longs lines are almost the norm. Could be organized a little better. They do get a star for putting down new tile.

Shop there quite often when I dont feel like going to the market. Very well stocked. Friendly staff.

I dont have a car so I walked here only to find out the doors were locked even though the times on the door says theyre open, sucks honestly

Everytime I go here, it looks junky. I dont know if its because I always seem to go on truck day or if its just junky! Last time I went looking for sour cream. They didnt have any...

Good store but they need to stock outdoor items for kids i.e. basketball, baseball or tee ball maybe a football or something

Store is cluttered, dirty and I walked out almost as soon as I walked in...so messy that’s its almost a fire hazard...i couldnt even walk down several aisle because of the boxes and crates everywhere. Unacceptable especially during a time where cleanliness is so important. Cant believe they actually sell grocery goods here.

Never a bad experience here at this one

The customer service was very good. The cashier was very good at multitasking. As usual the store was a mess. So much clutter. What I wanted was not under the right skew. The cashier helped me out though.

They didnt have what I wanted and the lady that waited on me had very bad vibes as if she didnt want to be there

Convenient & affordable. The store could benefit from organizing. There always tons of merchandise that needs to be placed on shelves. Some aisles arent accessible because of boxes of products.

I am in this store so much that I know the employees by name. I come in the store and know immediately when there is a new face and greet the employees that have been there as family and that is how they treat me! I absolutely love the customer service and the staff and even go as far as telling others to go in to buy every day things that they need.

This dollar general is average. Not terrible but nothing to write home about.What brings me to write a review isn’t the store itself, it’s the location. Parts of Randallstown are declining rapidly, and this location has been held up in the past. The parking lot is particularly sketchy.I grew up in this area, and I’ve seen the change over the years. I actually had a chance to meet with the management that opened this store years ago. This location isn’t what it once was. This isn’t somewhere I would stop unless I absolutely had to.

This place is so disgusting and messy. The shelves are empty and it looks like a hoarder is in charge. Im not sure if they have enough staff but it seems like they dont even care.

The young man who waited on me was great! But he had a line and this store is ALWAYS TRASHED. You cant find thing...prices are wrong and the shopping experience is a lousy one. I have worked in retail on management level and I am disappointed in the way this location is. I was so disgusted last week that I took pictures to send to corporate office. I will be sending soon. Sometimes the cashiers they talk too much about that personal business to the other cashiers wait till you get off work for that

Im reviewing again because I was able to speak to the manager at the dollar general that I had the bad experience at and she was very kind and apologetic. She invited me to return to speak to her and the employee. The young lady was very apologetic and turned out to be very sweet! I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the treatment that I recieved as a consumer. They really took my feelings as a consumer into consideration and dont take things as such lightly. If i knew how to erase the negative review I would. At the end of the day, everyone is human and we have bad days and good. As long as were able to start over and learn from our mistakes, its allll good. Happy holidays!!!

Great staff but needs more staff

Rarely do I enter this store, maybe 1-2 times/yr.However, when I do theres always a foul odor greeting me at the door. The store is incredibly unorganized (junk piled high). Ive never purchased anything edible from here and considering the stench, Id warn against it.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! So i decided that Dollar General would be the best and cheapest place to purchase my Christ time items. I hand picked all of my ornaments and took it to the register. I asked the girl at the counter whether Libbys vegetables were on sale here, she blinked her eyes like(why are you asking me that) and said I dont know if they are on sale. I said ok and left it alone. Then, after she rang up my $87.61 worth of items I asked if I can put in my cell phone number. She said if you can find it on that right there, then go ahead. I said Im confused... Im not sure because normally the cashier makes it appear so that i can type in. She said well I dont know so... and proceeded to ring up the last of my items. I said maam is there a way that you can ask someone else because its not ok to just leave my question unanswered with an I dont know. She said yes it is. I said actually its not because Im a customer and you work here so you should atleast say I dont know and then say let me ask. She said no I dont have to say that so... then a manager came over and asked her to be quiet. OMG she said no. I said i say what I want and kept going back and forth with me. Then she started leaning on the manager. He was quiet and scared. Looked stupid. She argued with me while I was trying to swipe my card for my items and by then, I decided to leave everything there! As I was walking out she was still going on and on! The customers behind me said that she was sooo rude!

The Dollar General in Randallstown was a mess first of all when I walked in it smelled like feet and mildew and they had boxes everywhere and all the stuff that was supposed to be on the shelves was in boxes. No sales circular in the store to specify what is on sale. The cashier was very friendly and professional. This only my opinion of this establishment

Items and boxes in isles as trying to maneuver around in electric wheelchair. Had to skip some isles, have staff move big carts & boxes or get an item for me.

Dirty very slow two registers the lines and wait is longer than Walmart.
