I love the look of this little cafe, and it felt very authentic! The deserts served here really reminded me of my trips to Asia, and they were mostly mango based. I got a little mango treat sampler and the bf got a mango tea drink. The tea was refreshing, although not very sweet. It definitely tasted healthy haha. The mango sampler was delicious though, I loved the little chewy balls! Im definitely coming back here to try all the crazy other things on the menu, like the drink poured directly into a coconut shell!

I took a couple classes in college where I showed up every single day and still didnt understand what the class was about. Thats pretty much how I feel about this spot. If we can support Greys Papaya then why cant we love a Mecca to the Mighty Mango! We had the Mango Romance, a Milk Tea with the Cheese Foam, the Mango Mochi and the Mango Pancake. From top to bottom, the food was superb. The Mango was juicy and sweet. The highlight was the Mango Mochi. They somehow made the best textured Mochi I have ever had in my entire life. And the pancake was light and filled with cream/mangos. How have I never gone here before? Ive been to Redmond once in my life. This is the reason Ill go a second time.

I was excited to try out this place that makes mango desserts since I never remember that they are only open in the afternoon. I had the mango with coconut noodles. It was very delicious and had a mango slush on the bottom with a frozen mango purée in the center, pieces of diced mangos and coconut noodle which is made of coconut but with the texture of noodles - or mangoes really. They had many many other things to try but all on a mango and fruit theme. We loved it. The place is pristine as well. It wasn’t very sweet at all. Extremely nice staff who were patient with my questions.

It was the first time at this dessert shop. If you like mangos this is definitely the place for you. I suggest trying the mango romance first which is a sampler of three of the various desserts, so you can decide which type of mango dish you would like for your next visit. We had the mango chewy ball which had pieces of mango, mango ice cream in the center with (mochi) sweet mashed rice balls and a icy mango sauce. It was delicious. My son had the dragon fruit icy, my son loved it, I didnt care for it as much but I dont really like dragon fruit. My daughter had the mango cheesy milk top. It was kind of salty sweet with the cheesy milk top being a bit salty and the sweet mango smoothie bottom. Looking at their supply of mangos they must being doing really well.Hui Lau Shan is a fruit dessert chain originating from Hong Kong, there are a couple shops in the Bellevue Redmond area. We will definitely be back for more.

We ordered jumbo pomelo, mango with sago to go. It’s mostly cream and ice with very tiny amount of mango and pomelo. Perhaps there is a difference when you eat in the store and order to go? Some of the customer pictures look good but not ours. The radish and mango pancakes taste good. They really need to up their game on their signature dessert. So underwhelmed by it.Gave it a second try and this time we dined in. The quality is definitely a lot better this time! Adding one more star.

Great location and design, good parking, restrooms, and a clean open space. Togo containers are cute. Seating is plentiful and not too cramped. Staff are nice and super helpful. Take Mango sago as one example - their main competitor, Honeymoon dessert (满记甜品) in HK, has the same desert with much better taste. Also the price is on the expensive side. My friends and I ordered the mango pancakes and mango romance to share and a mango and coconut juice with aloe jelly drink for myself.Overall I was very impressed and glad that I came! The mango pancakes were so fluffy and delicious that we ordered some more to-go afterwards (they come in a plastic shell for safe transportation home) and the individual parts of the mango romance were tasty, especially the mango ice cream. When I ordered the durian pancakes and the mango pudding, I was pretty disappointed. The flavors of the durian pancake were amazing, but something is wrong with the frosting. It leaves a residue on the roof of your mouth and doesn’t completely dissolve, why does it do that? The mango pudding’s flavor was subtle. It came with this little container of white sauce- which I thought was coconut milk. It turned out tasting bitter. I dont want to disrespect Hong Kong culture, because it may just be an acquired taste. Though, I would suggest in the future to consider putting a little sign in front of the sauce to explain what it is. Thank you for the food.

Ive been here 3 times since they opened and while the desserts are yummy, theyre quite pricey. The menu has a small handful of flavors: mango, strawberry and durian and a small handful of items: pancake, bowls, and drinks. Also worth noting that many of the desserts are premade so not super fresh, but the cost is $7-8 each. Last night (my third visit) I had a fruity craving and wanted to give the it another shot so I placed an online order. I waited in the store for 25 mins after the time it was supposed to be done. The store was really cramped because about half of it was filled with their stock of supplies. So about 5 parties were waiting for items in a small side of the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was only one person working and this really upset me. I felt really bad for her as she was so overwhelmed. For those prices the items should all be fresh and the place should be well staffed. As for the dessert, they are nice to try once but not worth the price or the 20 minute wait. They also dont look anywhere as good as the photos.

We waited in a line for a while and was told that chances are we wouldnt be able to get a table. Fair enough, we asked our orders as takeout. Then we saw a table opening up so I sat down while my husband was paying. The same employee saw me at the table and said to him that we cant stay now that you got things as takeout order. He asked if she was kicking us out, and she said we should leave now once we get our order. Outrageous service. Food was average, smaller amount of mango for takeout compared to others who were having the same at other tables (we wanted to play it safe and asked for the most popular ones). We are mango lovers and really were excited to try it out. Now sticking to mangos from Costco. We will not return.

Refreshing HANDMADE mango desserts!Ive never had the HK original but I can taste why the franchise has grown in popularity. Generous servings of fresh fruit (well, mostly mango) in various puddings/syrups/creams; not loaded with sugar but perfectly revitalizing. This is the answer to the boring overly sweet bubble tea explosion. The Redmond location is clean, well lit, and fairly spacious. Parking isnt terrible but might be in short supply during busy hours. TLDR: crowded! (Champagne) mango lovers paradise. Asian-level sweetened desserts--more of a refreshing snack than a dessert.Soft Opening: MAN is it PACKED! Be prepared to wait in line at the door and even wait to be seated! This place is so loud. You cant hear yourself think. The background music is drowned out by neighboring conversation and blenders. I wish they had some sort of outdoor seating.Menu has lots of picture references and little to no descriptions. If you are a seasoned Taiwanese desserter, you will know what each dish will contain and taste like. The majority of items are, you guessed it, mango flavor. The napkins are cute. Check out the forks and spoons!Service: order and pay at the counter, you will be given a number, seat yourself (good luck), bus your own table. Extra utensils on the opposite side of the counter towards the back.Mango Romance: great sampler dish. The shaved ice cream was the best part in my opinion. I do like the sticky rice balls too. The mango bits were not as great as I was expecting--fairly mushy and bland (not really sweet or tangy). Some mango bits were veiny/stringy. Overall wasnt sweet.Overall, nice place to snack on fruit for a refreshment. Dont come here with a sweet tooth or you will be disappointed. The quality of the mangos could be be better in my opinion.
