I contacted this company last week to get a quote on how much it would cost to get a security system with ADT. They were very quick to call me back. While talking to the sales rep, I explained I wanted to get a consultation only so I could talk about my options and see the equipment. The sales rep stated no problem and that he would send someone out to do a security assessment and show me prices. He also told me the technician could install the same day if I agreed. They also charged me $106 as a pre-pay in case I wanted to install and told me it would be refunded if I didnt.When the technician arrived, he was very nice and showed me all the equipment ADT has to offer. He also showed me different combinations of equipment and the price for each combo. I told him thank you for coming out, I will let you know if or when I want an install. This is when the problems began.Immediately, I noticed he seemed a bit frustrated and he said he needed to call his boss and let him know he was leaving. While on the phone, I could hear his boss asking him why isnt the customer wanting an install? Followed by talk about different sale techniques. The technician asked me if I was sure I didnt want an install. I told him no, I wanted a consultation only. He told his boss and his boss responded by trying to offer me a gift card. I said no. They again started talking and tried to give me another gift card which I again refused. I told the technician I needed to start getting ready for work and his time was up.Next, another boss (in charge of sales I think) was called and the technician handed me the phone. The sales boss proceeded to tell me I was being dumb for not buying this system because ADT is the best. He ranted for about 5-10 minutes before I told him in an angry voice I was not going to buy his product. I handed the phone back to the tech. And the tech finally packed up and left.I am giving this company two stars instead of one since the first sales rep was nice. I would not recommend contacting this ADT dealer since they only seem to care about sales and not what the customer wants or thinks.
Let me now tell you about adt. Before they give you a quote they wanna run a credit check. Now mind you before you agree to sign with them. Then if asked if it is a soft or a hard hit they tell you soft. Straight up lies. Its a hard hit on your report for 2 years. Screw adt too
Technician was very knowledgeable. He listened to what I wanted and helped me build a system that puts my mind at ease. He was courteous and respectful of my home. Communication was excellent and he came as scheduled. I could not be more pleased.
I had an absolute terrible experience with this company. We were in the process of moving and asked what we had to do to transfer pur equipment to the new house. Was told by one employee one story... so a few weeks later we move and I call to schedule our transfer. Was told it would be about $600 to transfer and was given completely different info than before. Expressed how unhappy I was amd that I would be checking other companies. At that timw I was told we are in a contract (that was NEVER explained to us from the begining) and in order to get out of it would cost $600. I felt trapped. I was screwed if I stayed with the company and screwed if I didnt. In a total of 2 week I had talked to 3 different people and got different information each time. I was incredibly unhappy and expressed myself that way. They ended up getting me a discount but dailed AGAIN to provide me the correct information as to what I was paying for. I am completely fed up with this trap company. I will mever recommend to anyone.
Just spoke with a representative from this company and he was very rude I wouldnt be recommended( PROTEST YOUR HOME -ADT service ) to anybody I think its very disrespectful 👎👎👎😡😡😡
