If youre looking for a more classic, hometown experience for ice cream, South Central Creamery is the place to go. Many kids I know call it the penguin place for the penguins that are painted on the windows - the mascots of the business. They have a large variety of flavors at reasonable prices, double scoops, toppings, shakes, cones, and more. It doesnt go very far beyond the basic, but I suppose it doesnt really need to.This is a great place to end hot summer days, and a great place for ice cream dates. I personally love their (Ive forgotten the name, forgive me) chocolate ice cream, that is literally like 4 different kinds of chocolate in one ice cream. Its so delicious!The last time I was there, I remember they charged 50cents for extra sprinkles, which was a lot in my opinion, but I dont run an ice cream store, so I dont know how much extra sprinkles cost in the long run.I do love that they hire local artists to do their murals on their windows! The ice cream here is really good and they bake the waffle cones right in the ice cream shop. The penguin decorations just add to the cute decor. This place is in a strip mall so look close to find it.

The ice cream and service are actually good.So why the bad review.You cant buy two scoops of ice cream in the cup. Not that big of deal right? So you have to get one scoop or three or more scoops. I really just wanted two scoops but go up to three because one isnt enough. Then... then!, I find out that you cant get different scoop flavors with only three scoops. Im like, what?? Really?? The fantastic thing about scooped hard icecream is the variety and mixing flavors right???! So, come to find out you cant mix flavors until you get four scoops! Lol. Now Im thinking... I really want two flavors and two scoops and moved up to three scoops, and now considering 4 scoops.. forget it!! FORGET IT!. Crazy right? Asked the ice-cream girl if she knew why, she said she had no idea and you could tell the complaint comes often. She said thats just the way we were told to do it. Really nice girl, not her fault they have a sales gimmick worked into their ice cream sales! I want two scoops and I want two assorted scoops management!! Why not just pay by the scoop and allow any ice-cream scoop combination after one scoop?

SprinklesoneFantastic! The price is definitely worth it for what you get! $5 for a double scoop waffle cone. We had one dipped in fudge and one dipped in fudge and sprinkles. A great selection of ice cream and a friendly staff. The only problems we ran into is that they wouldnt let my daughter get a three scoop ice cream and there was too much to eat (which isnt really a problem).

Homemade, hand dipped ice cream like GREAT GRANDMA used to make! Multiple flavors.(butter pecan in a chocolate-dipped, homemade waffle cone is my favorite!) Sugar free is available, too! You can also special order your own tub if you like. The only bad thing about this particular store is the location. Parking is tight and limited, but worth it.

So many flavors to choose from. Youll want them all! The waffle cones are fresh and dipped in chocolate (if you prefer) as you order. Go for the sprinkles and mint chocolate chip. Just trust me on this one.

Its a nice place and its clean the staff is super nice its a nice sized area that isnt small but not really big so its nice, and there is many different choices to pick from when getting your ice cream and there is different types of cones.

I went in and asked for a certain ice cream and was given something I didnt ask for and was allergic to. I went up to the counter and told the girl who got my ice cream and she then proceeded to lie to my face about the incident. The ice creams werent even the same color and she treated me like a fool. I understand that people make mistakes, nobodys perfect but to be dishonest and rude to a valued customer is completely unacceptable.
