I moved and searched for a mechanic nearby. Link Automotive came up with awesome reviews. My old mechanic told me I needed parts for a job not immediately necessary and supposedly fixed another issue. However the issue they supposedly repaired was never resolved as it should have been. It was always one problem or another with this mechanic. I took my car to Link Automotive and they fixed that issue correctly and verified I did not need those parts for future issue. That just proved to me my old mechanic was dishonest and fixing things that didnt need to be fixed. Mike and Scott, the owners of Link Automotive, talked to me about the issues of my car and assured me all was good now. I feel confident in going back to them to fix whatever needs to be fixed in the future. Wish I had found them a whole lot earlier....could have saved myself a bundle from the crook I was going to. I would recommend them .

Thankfully, I had the good fortune of meeting the owner of LINK (Mike) just before I was about to have necessary work done at the shop I had been going to for years. Links mechanics were very thorough and stated that I did not need the items I was told I do (new tires and a replacement belt). They have been keeping my car going for many years ever since (My car is now 14 YEARS OLD and running fine!) Since that time, I have only gone to Link. Been going to him for over 5 years now. They are courteous, detailed, organized, fair priced and they do not pad on extra unneeded recommendations. Have been referring Link to others for years, and only get great feedback!

Hundai dealer was going to charge me $1,350 to replace airbag sensors in an attempt to get an airbag light to turn off. This place was honest and told me the sensors are all fine and that it was just a loose pretensioner connection.... Charged me $100 for excellent and honest service.

I had been getting oil changes on the cheap for 2+ years at NTB when they tell me they cant change my oil anymore until they replace my hood cable because it rusted out. At the time my car was just 7 years old. To get a second opinion, I found link automotive on Car Talks website--these guys are incredible, trustworthy, honest and competent. They let me know NTB neglecting to grease my hood cable was a big part in contributing to the rust issue. They got it open, greased it up for me and changed the oil, no questions asked! I live downtown, no longer work in the suburbs and drive back there regularly to get my car fixed. 5 stars!!
