Im a frequent visitor to this location and have been disappointed once again by the service I was provided, I waited fifteen minutes to get checked out. Also that tall boy I think his name is John /Jon always has an attitude and disappears often at this point Im thinking he is a magician, reluctanly he is a cashier and hes not doing his job. The other workers are lovely and dont deserve to be brought down by that evil boy.

I came here the other day with my 15 year old sister and this tall guy white guy with the messed up teeth (I think his name was John) served us. He stared at her and mean mug me. If I could write ZERO stars I would. He gave me the worse attitude. You NEED to fire him. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Hopped in after work walked right up to the counter said hello and waited a solid minute for Amanda to ring me up after she finished sending her text message. Horrible service. Work is work. Get off your phone

I absolutely love going here. The young gentleman at the cashier is extremely sweet and friendly. I do not know his name but he is awesome every morning I come in. This place might be a little priceybut I dont mind due to the fact that the gentleman at the front is always so sweet and kind to me every morning.

This store passes fake $20.00 bills and when you call to inform them, they tell you to call the police or file under renters insurance. A million dollar corporation stealing from the small guy you didn’t even want to investigate your employee I really trusted that young man that morning I didn’t know he was robbing me to save himself.this review is a cautionary story about how even corporations like Thornton’s will rip off the little guy, Fact is I don’t walk around with a pen to check for counterfeit money I took the time to shop at places that have the tools to do it for their customers. Investigation I’ll bring you back your fake 20.00 you gave me how about you call the police and claim it on your insurance.

Gas snacks drinks are car products

I’ve been coming here for the past year and a half because of their 12 flavors of fizz freeze. My friends and I would come anytime from 12-4 am and the people working the graveyard shift were very nice and would always treat us like their favorite customers. I live 20 minutes away but I still drive out here to get a drink and some gas. Absolute best gas station around.

Was a fan when they first opened, but now not so much. Recently the morning crew changed, and not for the better. Very slow getting things up and going now on the early morning. Lets step it up for the early risers and lets get on the ball. No more excuses!Update: Stopped here today, November 12th, and things are no better. Station was closed this morning, I stopped this afternoon and the bathroom was disgusting, and no one was at the register to help check us out. Very disappointed in this establishment.

Its always clean and the employees are always professional.

The girl Amanda needs to step up her game and work quicker thats why the place is always packed to the back door and nobody really helps her

Well I honestly am very disappointed in this location. I used to come here get my gas and coffee that was made fresh everyday and was always clean. Now it’s nothing like before. The staff doesn’t want to do anything when we ask for coffee they say the machines aren’t working. (It’s been like that for like 3 months). It’s terrible. I will never come back here.

Thorntons is literally the best gas station Ive ever set foot in - and Ive been in many a gas station all over the country.The store itself is fairly large and very well-organized. It gets tonnes of natural light, and is always kept sparkling clean. (That includes the bathrooms, both of which look *and* smell clean.) Their staff are always friendly - some more than others, perhaps, but no one has ever been inattentive, let alone rude, to me.The gas is competitively priced. Theyre not always the cheapest, but they are consistently at the lower end of the price range. And they have a crazy amount of Icee flavors! The best thing about the place, though, is their caramel popcorn. Seriously! It is the very *best* I have ever eaten - anywhere.

Would pump again... 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

On 2/27/20 not one gas pump had all its security stickers intact. Tried 3 times to call and alert management, and no one picked up the phone for 50 rings. The security stickers thing is an ongoing problem. Will not be purchasing more gas here until this is resolved.

Stopped here this afternoon which was a mistake. Will go to Speedway down the street from now on. This place has garbage all over the lot and the inside is filthy. Waited in line to pay for my gas and had nothing but an attitude from one of the associates, Angel. Not certain if someone was having a bad day but dont take it out on your customers. I will be contacting corporate and filing a formal complaint. Hope management addresses these issues. Its bad for business. One star rating because 0 stars are not allowed. Patronize elsewhere.

Don’t try to call there, been calling for 30 minutes straight to ask a question and apparently 30 min and 7 phone calls later their to “busy” to answer. I have a serious question about a credit card last night and I can’t even get ahold of them, thank you Thornton’s.

Price is usually lower then even the competitors across the street and the coffee is pretty good. I stop here almost every morning to grab a bite before work and something to help wake me up as well

Machines are broken AGAIN. Does the lady at the counter help. No, she is too busy playing on her cell phone. I wont be back.

Dont go here the gas prices the same prices Chicago or any of Romeoville gas stations
