George is a great mechanic. I would recommend him to anyone. Being a NYC transplant, it took a while to find. Reliable mechanic. The only negative thing I can say is he is always booked so it can be hard at times to get appointment.

Tried to rent a uhaul with them. They forgot to put the information in the system so I could pick up my truck share. I was left outside the parking lot at 9 pm with no access to my rental and without any other options.

George at G&J Carcare is a great mechanic. I was driving to work and my car started overheating. I pulled the car over and called George, at which time he diagnosed possible problems with the car. The car needed to be towed and he discovered it needed a new water pump. He repaired the car that day and got me back on my way. G&J Carcare was professional and efficient in repairing my car. Dealing with gorge all day nice men very helpful

This is one of the rare mechanic shops in the area that is supported by AAA warranty. I gambled after reading minor reviews. George is great guy, a native east coaster from NJ/NY. Brought my car in due to massive coolant leak. Already knew it was a hose issue. When dropping car off, I explained to George a little history on car just in case he might need it. At first, I was a bit scared, cause he said it could be radiator and all sorts of other complex problems. My mind was thinking, here we go again, a mechanic telling you to hush, creating fictitious problems to overcharge me.Although he was busy, he called me about 4:30pm to pick up car. George confirmed I had a simple hose problem. Not even an actual physical issue with the hose, but the metal clamp affixing it became corroded, thus loosened, causing antifreeze leak.The actual clamp is $3ish. The total repair cost was $125.00 - thats with the AAA discount.I do think its a bit costly repair for a worn $3 clamp. I dont think there was any AAA discount at that cost nor was any discount noted on the receipt.I did like Georges persona and technical ability. Is the repair costly and with an applied discount? I really dont know, but I do know that a mechanic industry standard is 75-90$ per hour of labor with 1 hour minimum - even if its a darn $3 clamp.What gave me peace is Georges sincerity along with AAAs warranty service by work performed in AAA affiliated shops. Strangely, I also admired the honest truth about a simple hose clamp with the high cost. Ill take that over exaggerated claims to justify costs.I will visit again!

I got my car towed here after it broke down on the road, and the guy told me nothing was wrong - I just needed to put coolant in my radiator. He originally said he was busy and sounded rushed. My car broke down again within 48 hours, and the next guy I went to explained that my entire radiator and its accessories needed to be replaced. I dont think the first guy actually looked at my car.

Only place I will ever take my car. George and Aggie are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Above and beyond service!
