Great place to get your bike fixed! Fred Bauer, the owner, treated me super great! I had a problem with my bike and he knew exactly what the issue was, and helped with a couple extra issues it was having. All together, it was super well done and very quick! I would personally recommend Bicycle Village for the knowledge Fred had, and the passion he has for what he does!

For many years Bicycle Village has been the place to go in Saginaw MI. for everything related to Bicycles. Over the years I have bought bicycles and even a unicycle from Bicycle Village and never been disappointed. Always friendly people working there with a love and deep wealth of knowledge about bicycles and cycling, that’s why I keep coming back.This past month I again had the need for a bicycle shop, this time for a major tune up and repairs on an old classic road bike. Went in with my bike and talked with Fred Bauer, I found out was the owner. He looked over my bike and asked me lots of questions, after evaluating & listening he gave his suggestions on what he recommended for the tune-up and repairs. Then he gave me an estimated cost and timetable. Again, great service at Bicycle Village completed repairs faster than predicted and came in at a reasonable price. Wow I can not ever remember this bike riding so well, it may be better then when it was bought new.Just wanted to thank the team at Bicycle Village. I highly recommend Bicycle Village for service and sales!

Bicycle Village and their staff are great. I went in not knowing exactly what I was looking for. Fred picked out two bikes that he thought would be a good fit for me. I chose the vintage Schwinn and have not been disappointed. The bike is in excellent condition and rides great. I will definitely be going back to Bicycle Village for all of my future bike and accessory needs.

Awesome shop. I came in right at the end of business, and they still helped me out and Vince even aired up four different bikes for me to try. The prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend!

I cant say enough good things about the service I received recently. I initially visited a bike shop down the road that also sells vacuums. They gave me the run around when I asked questions. The guy at Bicycle Village was AMAZING! He explained in detail and with tricks of the trade how to fix my bike even though I had bought the part from the first guy. I ended up taking my broken part to him and he determined it wasnt fixable, added a housing to the part I bought from the other guy and we were out the door for under 10 bucks. Bicycle Village has gained a customer for life. The knowledge and service there are superb!

I went in Saturday because I needed a new tire and tube..i was told a tire was $16. He insisted I didnt pay first as I went for my wallet. I figured $32 plus the tube cost. My mom went to pick it up today and was charged $87.. very old bike only paid $30 for it. The chain wasnt even on it when we got it back and it was rusty.. for $87 something more could have been done to it. Rip off! I am highly disappointed!

Fred and his team are great! They are honest and wontt push you to purchase a new bike although Ive purchased several for myself and grandsons. I trust their advice and they continue to service my classic bicycle a 1973 Schwinn SuperSport, without their help I doubt I would still enjoy riding it.

I went in to get a seat clamp they installed it and adjusted the tilt of my seat for free and gave me a drink for free really good workers there

Rude, disorganized, no pricing on anything means the prices are arbitrary - theyll try to rip you off if they smell weakness. Not sure how they survive. The university I guess, and being the only shop in town. These guys deserve proper competition.

Really enjoy dropping off a bike and knowing it will be returned in much better shape than it was dropped off.When the child rides the repaired bike and his response is, it rides like its onrails, I know theyve done a really good job. Thanks for great customerservice even if the bike wasnt purchased there.

My first time at Bicycle Village was last week. Im still pretty new to bicycles. I did some quick research into shops in Flint and Saginaw beforehand. I just knew I didnt want to go back to Assenmachers (CS is lacking). I wanted to find a place that was friendly, honest, and competent, so I took my bike in for a derailleur adjustment to feel it out. Ill be stopping in soon to check out bicycles for my next purchase! They’re by far the best bike shop in saginaw and i can contest to that. I was looking for a replacement hanger and deraileur. The shop with the vacuums literally said go see what you can find on google and come back. Terrible customer service and they didn’t care about me. I went to bicycle village and they took me in as one of their own. They found and installed the Hanger for me and deraileur for $25 labor. And for free they straightened my rear brake rotate, rear, rim, aired up my tires, and applied chain lube. Absolutely for free. I was completely astonished by them and told them how much i appreciated it and they told me customer service is their number one. They take pride in their work. I was so happy i even left them a $10 tip. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. Go straight to bicycle village. The amount of products they have in stock is very impressive. 15/10 rating. There’s zero bad you could say about them!

I was told by several people that this is the place to go for a new mountain bike. My wife and I were in the market for new bikes and had visited other shops in town with the same result. Nobody had a bike big enough to fit me (I have long legs) and they always wanted to sell my wife something that looked pretty but is non functional. ( junk derailleurs, no disk breaks, etc.) We worked with Fred and were very impressed with his inventory, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile to be sure we were buying something that would actually work for us. Since our initial purchase we have had the pleasure of working with all of the staff at Bicycle Village and I can now say that I am one of the many people recommending them to friends and family.

One of the best bike shops Ive ever been to. friendly and kind the guy working there let me try many bikes and found the one that fit best for my size and body type. after I found the bike I liked he lowered the price down to something affordable for my income. Im very happy with my bike its very made well and has good components to it.

Awesome place to go for a bike!!! Came in and Fred sized me up to a bike that fits me perfectly. I even was able to buy parts from them and they explained how to put it on, and even tuned it when I couldnt get it going the correct way! This is the only place I will go from now on for all my biking needs!

Fred is the best!! I recently went there to get last minute help with a bicycle project my son was working on. He was trying to remove the crank arm, but couldn’t because a special tool is required for that. We called Bicycle Village to see if they could help. Fred said to bring it in. Within a matter of minutes, he had it off! He really saved the day & couldn’t have been nicer!! We’ll definitely be going there again for any of our bicycle needs. Bicycle village truely cares about making peoples biking experience the best possible no matter what. They dont hesitate to fix any bike regardless if it was purchased from them. Today they made my 7 year olds Birthday complete by fixing his bike that other shops held for 4 days then said that the bike was unfixable. Maybe they should stick with horses as their name implies!The staff at bicycle village had same unfixable bike for 45 minutes & fixed it better than perfect!!!You Rock Bicycle Village & your Customer Service is outstanding, making the difference every time!Thank You!
