Excellent local plant nursery. I picked up a flat of periwinkle today. Already in the ground as very healthy plants. I’m sure to return.

I called to see if they had a particular shrub. The person who answered the phone was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. She answered my question quickly. When I went to the nursery I was helped by a gentleman that was a pleasure to talk with. Again, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He knew what I was looking for and took me straight to where it was. He was very helpful in helping me choose my plants. Not pushy, but offering advice and information to help me pick them out. I would recommend this business.

Jenny helped us and we really appreciated it. She helped us load our pine straw and took much time finding and identifying beautiful flowers. Didnt get the nice ladies name at checkout but much appreciated as she helped us as well.If you havent visited and you like gardening and landscaping this is worth the visit!

A wonderful hidden gem tucked right off the main drag in Salem. Very well organized and stocked, I was truly pleased at how well laid out everything was. Every plant, garden statue, and bag has a price and label. There was a large selection of garden ornaments and other decorations, every kind of tree you can imagine even some that I had no idea would grow in our area. The inside of the little shop is beautiful, just the right amount of selections and stock for sale, not too much and every staff member was very helpful and outgoing with their information.

Mark is SO helpful! We built a new home and he is so knowledgeable and had such great suggestions on the plants that would be complimentary to our home and the layout. Their selection is wonderful and everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Large, large selections of trees! Wouldve given 5 stars but they did not have the shrubs we actually came to buy after calling first. Again, huge selection of tress!

Great plants and nice staff but very pricey

Horrible place to deal with....Does NOT stand behind what they sell. Planted according to their instructions. $50.00 bush that died in 2 months. Wanted me to buy another for $50.00 said they were the only ones who could correctly plant. NEVER DEAL WITH THESE SHYSTERS...

WOW, so many plants, trees and bushes to choose from. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. One of my new favorite places in Salem.

These guys have the best plants and are so knowledgeable about each. Pine Ridge has been my go to for 20 yrs!!! Salem is fortunate to have such a fine company.

I was very pleased with this garden center. They seem to have it all. Nice selection of garden decor (flags, gazing globes), fertilizers, etc. Wonderful selection of perennials, annuals, shrubs, and trees. Cement decor in abundant supply. Also have a selection of river rock to rip rap to mulch selections. Friendly, helpful service add up to a very pleasant experience

Ive purchased our Christmas trees here for many years. Very courteous and helpful people. They always go out of their way to help. The trees are always fresh and last well after Christmas.

Very helpful, and very knowledgable when it came to getting my yard together. I have also recvied quite a a bit of dirt and mulch loads. Prices were very competitive and the area is very clean and organized. Been coming here for over 6 years for all my yard needs.

Largest selection of trees and shrubbery in the valley at very reasonable prices. The annual and perennial prices are higher than big box stores, but thats expected. Trade off is The varieties offered are nicer. The plant tags contain pictures and planting data. Large covered shelter with wide range of statuary and planters. Mulch and top soil are of excellent quality, though delivery is sometimes slow. All that a nursery should be....and locally owned. Heartily recommend!

The plants are beautiful and they have many unique nice size trees but VERY expensive. Spent 1000 for 4 trees, would have loved a few more but couldnt do it. The first day we were there buying trees, they were kind, informative and helpful. Went back to pick up trees, spoke to exactly same person and he was aloof, difficult to get any information from and was not helpful in ideas for future purchases. Since then I have had the same bad experience, hoping for the first time to not have been a fluke. Then I left a physical message for questions and a request for a return call. Since then I have called three times and left a message with no return call. Went back to the nursery to speak in person with little help and that I never left messages because the are returned daily.If I could rate customers service alone it would be 1 star since I had 1 good experience. I give 2 stars because of the quality and variety of trees are beautiful.

The folks here are always helpful and friendly. And they are knowledgable! They offered to take a picture of the front of my home and explain how to relandacape it. The guy I worked with took me around on the cart and showed me what each plant was on the recommended list and why it was on the list. Very helpful!

There is no nicer garden to walk through in the Roanoke area. Best selection and great source of knowledge. Id rate it a five but their plant warranty system is a bit funky.

I have been going to this nursery for many years and never had a bad experience. They are so helpful. They are quick to help and offer suggestions. They stand behind their products. I always recommend this nursery. I have bought trees,numerous plants,mulch,grass seed, and topsoil. Their topsoil is sifted nice and its really rich in color. Thank you so much for your help. I am on my 2nd home and I look forward to visiting thru out the seasons.

Since their move, prices have increased substancially (triple the price from last year for top soil). Service is horrible. Top soil not sifted well and grossly overcharged.

I use Pine Ridge for all of my gardening needs. Everyone is always very helpful and they have a wide variety of plants for your flower or vegetable garden.

They seem to have just about anything you want or if they dont theyll get it for you, in a friendly manor. Do you need anything else?
