Meh... Its pipe, not brain surgery. Good quality work but VERY expensive.. Literally twice the cost of other muffler shops in the area.

Called and was able to book a quick appointment date to have a new exhaust system installed on my challenger. Great customer service, did an excellent job for a good price. Overall, very satisfied with their business.

Eric is a great guy and the shop is really nice!You can tell the shop cares about the cars they work on. I went in with some damage to my exhaust because someone tried to steal my catalytic converter. I was told by a mechanic it would be about $100 for a muffler shop to weld it. I told Eric what happened and he welded the hole for free.I will absolutely be coming back there if I ever need something muffler or brake related again!

After much research of local shops, took my 68 ford country sedan here for all new dual muffler system, + the installation of all new shocks, springs, and highway bars. Eric the owner gave me a breakdown of all he work needed, I dropped off the car, and picked it up at the agreed upon time. Based on it being and older car there were the usual shenanigans afoot, but Eric contacted me and we worked though them all. The exhaust looks amazing (he had the car on the lift for me so I could see all the work done), sounds great with the dual flowmasters, and the new suspension system really helps out that two+ ton car. Will definitely come back if future work is needed.Note. the attached pic (showing exhaust, shocks, rear swaybar) is from a different shop (since Id forgot to take a pic while I was there for pickup).

Honest, trustworthy. Things you definitely rarely find when it comes to a vehicle maintenance location. This place is honest and trustworthy and I trust them whenever I need help with my vehicles.

Highly recommend Eric and 50-50 Muffler. He saw me right away and fixed the muffler in several hours. Parts and labor were same as brand-new one. Great customer service, called me when the car was ready. And he does brakes!

I brought my Mazda in for brake repair Saturday without an appointment. They performed an inspection and provided me an estimate within 15 minutes detailing that only the front brakes were in need of replacement and the rotors were not damaged. By noon, my vehicle repair was complete and I was on my way.50/50s location was very convenient, their service friendly, and the final repair cost was less than estimates from both Firestone and a second local service center.

I ordered a stainless steel header back exhaust from a German vendor for my 1970 BMW 2800CS, and had 50-50 install it. A few of the pipes were damaged in transit, and I didnt notice until we took the exhaust out of the package. Eric was able to fix the damage, install the system in the same day, and also had the right tip to make the exhaust perfect. Excellent shop, excellent service, and I highly recommend them.

Best muffler shop in the Bay Area! Not only is their work top quality there customer service is too! Eric did the custom dual exhaust on my Tahoe and got it perfect. I highly recommend this shop to everyone!

My motorcycle exhaust was completely broken in two and I had no idea how I was going to fix it...I was so glad I met Eric and stopped into his shop.Even though he was about to pack up for the day, he took the time to fix my bike right there on the spot!Dont take your vehicles to any of the big chain exhaust and muffler shops. 50-50 is one of the rare places where you can still hire a talented craftsman!!

Eric is awesome. I came in with a small but significant exhaust problem. A adapter for the Flowmaster I already had. He fashoined an adapter for me in about 15 minutes. It worked perfectly and he never even saw the vehicle. The price was better than anyone could expect. He did me a solid. I peered at one of his projects on the rack. He runs the exhaust cleaner than Navy machinist mate. I highly recommend 50/50 Muffler.

Eric took my call mid day and agreed to see my Suburban later in the afternoon on the same day, point #1! I arrived on site and could have probably eaten off the floor, the place is clean! point #2! I told Eric my muffler was vibrating since the shield was loose, he put it on the lift and welded it within in 8 minutes of my arrival, point #3! And.... Eric said no charge!!! point #4!!! Eric at 50-50 muffler is a prime example of how people should do business. These days it is very rare to have custom work done and actually get what your told. I have a Infiniti g35 that I had a full duel exhaust system put on and everything that Eric told me prior to installation is what I got. This is such a rare quality these days that from now on whenever I need exhaust work done it will be at 50-50 muffler.

I never take my car anywhere else. Eric really knows his stuff and can diagnose a problem easily. He gives great service!

The Cat got the rebel snarl back. My British racing green Jaguar XK was missing a deeper growl from the exhaust. I wanted it to breathe better, sound better and have better efficiency from the engine. When I brought the car in to Eric, he immediately gave me many choices for the muffler and the type of sound I was looking for. His garage had many vintage automobiles in it including an original Shelby Cobra and an early Datsun Spider. Whoa, I appreciated the company in the garage as much as the choices for the new exhaust. A few hours later, the Jaguar XK was sounding gnarly wild and the extra air input has accentuated the torque curve throughout the gears. I can feel the difference with better back pressure and love the deeper cat purr as the Jaguar climbs through the gears. Thank you Eric for the wonderful craftsmanship and service to your customers.
