It is a rather local coffee business with a sizable regular following. Its also the busiest coffee shop Ive ever visited. That means, unlike other coffee shops Ive visited in the past, you never have to wait more than 5 minutes for a cup of coffee. Its great to see you on your way to work!

Love this place. I get a Vietnamese latte or a Vienesse latte based on my mood. And the croissant sandwiches are great. Outdoor seating is now the only way to get a table.

We love the uplifted atmosphere in this cafe. It is also calming with the natural plants and earthy decor. Modern bono.The staff always make you feel like your a friend who just came over for a chat.Delicious whole food. Large acai bowls!

Accidentally found this spot and been wanting to try it. So today finally made my way here. I Loved their Americanos and the price is great ( 12 oz is $2.75) . Big menu of different kind of drinks. They make amazing matcha here. Different milk substitutions ( coconut/almond/oat). pastries look good, pretty big too. And also do delicious toasts.The WiFi is really good out here also if you wanna come here to work it study. And there are multiple magazines and newspapers to read. Good variety. I really like the atmosphere here. 🥰

Great local coffee joint that is pet friendly! Flavorful coffee and funky decor throughout the little shop. They had a great selection of drinks and snacks! We had the avocado toast with our coffee and chai latte and it was bomb! We will be back!

We came in just a few minutes before closing, right after our flight. The guys serving us was very nice and was happy to serve us. The latte with Oatmilk and cappuccino that we ordered were delicious as well! Will definitely come again when we’re are in the area.

The oat milk matcha was delicious and creamy. The veggie breakfast sandwich on a rose Mary bagel was delicious. They were fast and friendly.

Wow! I highly recommend the lavender honey latte. I also got the egg and cheese croissant sandwich. The croissant is very flakey and super delicious. The menu has a lot of different options which is great! The staff was also so friendly and helpful.

The people are so bad there. They don’t know how to appreciate. Not worth to tips them. Won’t go back again. Beside that, they are too slow

This is an excellent local coffee shop. The owner Reo is meticulous and makes some of the best coffee in town. The assortment of breakfast items are plentiful and all freshly made daily. Dog and people friendly!

Ive had their housemade chai twice now, good flavor, a little more sweet than spicy. Their prices are fair. Its also nice to be able to get either Bread and Cie or Nomad bagels where I get my drinks. Will be back!

Im updating my review after a few years. Under the original ownership this was a 5 star establishment for me. Since then its changed hands a couple of times. My favor of this place has declined and mostly come back over the years. Lately the coffee hasnt quite suited my tastes in a way that Ive struggled to define. Its just off by a little bit. However, excepting pandemic circumstances, the new owners have made the space seem homey like it was when it originally opened. The outdoor setup they have works pretty well. Well see how it handles the cooler conditions. Given their hours, I expect it will hold. Staff has been super friendly.

I love being in this place ..which optimally, is daily. The serene jazz and spa music, superior quality milk, cream, coffee, turbinado sugar...macha tea is delicious too. We love the light fare--the Lox and Levain is so delicious for a protein rich breakfast, brunch or lunch. I also love the avocado toast as well. They accomodate my on gluten-free requirements. Staff is wonderful. Lets keep this local place alive with our business. They blow Starbucks out of the water. And are better than Birdrock, who has no gluten-free items and barely a place to sit down.

My wife tried the mocha, and I personally liked the taste. I just think chocolate overwhelms coffee, so you may think youre drinking hot chocolate. A try is worth it!

Nice location, good coffee. However mgr pulled in chairs 45 minutes before close. I asked to have a chair and he was just nasty about it, said I couldnt have one, said he could do whatever he wanted since hes manager. Your laziness is not your customers problem. And I wish they would put a trash can outside so you dont have to go inside during a global pandemic.

Awesome. If not for being on the pricey side this would be 5 stars. Cool atmosphere. They source zumbar coffee which is the best in san Diego so the drinks were great. I wish it wasnt quarantine so we could hang out, but their outdoor seating is ample and shaded. Cool portraits of blacks beach surf is for sale

Had to give Billy props for the coffee, he did a great job on our order. Friendly, nice open layout, neat, clean, and not sticky sweet. Always looking for that new coffee place, once word gets out I predict that this shop will be overrun!

Vietnamese latte was food. Not too sweet and enough caffeine to get me buzzed. Such pretty latte art too!

Supper regulation focused. As a customer I asked if my toddler can use the restroom and was told it wasn’t open to the public. Customers are not the public! Such a horiable business ethic. I love supporting small business but if regulations go above customers with in reason then well...The food itself was very tasty. Gluten free options which was great. The cold matcha was not at all good.

Good black coffee. Nice sandwiches. Artfully decorated. Pleasant staff.

Fabulous local coffee spot in Bay Park. Open air environment adorned with beautiful plants from the local hydroponics shop next door. Reo, the owner, crafts great espresso and coffee. Originally from Japan, he creates a peaceful and spacious environment that I appreciated. I love that he offers oat milk and organic milk. Art from local artists serve as decor and seating both inside and outside. Pastries from local bakery, Bread and Cie. Thanks for the ham anf cheese croissant, it was delicious!

Perfect local coffee shop. They have oatmill, which my wife loves, and some of the best decaf espresso I have tasted(for those caffeine sensitive). Their regular shots and drip are also top notch. Ill regularly get bag of beans for my house drip.

This is the best coffee shop ever! The owners are incredibly personable and the staff is charming. The coffee and food is always of quality. And the atmosphere is so chill and comfortable. My boyfriend and I come to Bay Park Coffee every Saturday and it never disappoints. Best coffee shop in San Diego hands down! Thanks to all to make this joint happen. We love you guys!

I’m on vacation in SD and decided to try a new coffee spot. I’m not exactly sure what the name of my drink was, but it was a lavender latte with oat milk and it was delicious!!! 10/10 recommend.

One of my favorite coffee places! My favorite drinks are the Viennese Latte (latte with honey and cinnamon) and the Vietnamese latte(which is what you definitely want to get if you need to wake up!) The space is small but trendy. They have amazing selections of coffee, tea and small pastries. The workers there are super friendly and have all pretty much memorized my name by now.If you are close by in the area, this should definitely be your go to coffee spot!Super delicious, free WiFi, good place to meet up with friends or even to just grab a quick coffee.

Was looking for a coffee shop that offered some food and the lox and levain photo caught my eye. A really enjoyable spot. We were avoiding the rain after the zoo and stopped for lunch. Really quaint atmosphere with really good brewed coffee. The bathroom has a change table for the little children. Highly recommend.

I stopped by during a visit to my Volkswagen service center. Its the only coffee shop nearby and its a great little spot. They have pastries and a good selection of drinks. They even have a vietnamese style coffee with condense milk! A good amount of seating and small outside seating area. Open and airy

Loved the vibe of this place and the staff was super friendly. The Vietnamese Latte is literally life! What a great idea to take a staple such as Vietnamese coffee and turn it into a latte. Great coffee and great environment!I stumbled upon this place when I took my car to a near by shop. My two sons and I were there for about 3 hrs. The staff and owners were super friendly and the coffee was excellent. The shop also has a kids nook with toys, a chalk board, and various toys - which was fantastic for my sons as we were there for quite a while. When my car was ready the owner even volunteered to drive me and my sons back to the shop - service way above and beyond.

Nice little coffee shop. The sort of place where you get some coffee, order a light, nutritious breakfast and work on writing the great American novel while locals wander in and out. The food is better than Starbucks, but more limited than a typical breakfast restaurant or diner.

Found this gem a few months back on a visit to San Diego. Wanted some coffee on my drive up to Carlsbad and this place did not disappoint. The A Team breakfast sandwich and the coffee I got were very very good. No doubt one of my regular stops for breakfast when I come to back to San Diego.

Good quality coffee in bay park. Reo the owner does a great job of holding high standards. All the breakfast items are delicious and the coffee is strong. The ambiance is perfect for early morning coffee and admin on the computer...dog friendly and fast service. So delicious and great customer service! The coffee was fabulous and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their homemade ice cream sandwiches in between two homemade gluten free cookies that were incredible! There were treats for the dogs, infused water sitting out for the customers and the shop had a glass garage door that opened to make a beautiful airy environment!! Thank you Bay Park Coffee!!!

Must try a Green tea matcha with oat milk!!!I love coffee and I don’t even remember why I ordered the matcha but I’m so glad I did. It’s creamy, earthy, smooth, and doll-icious!😋The croissant breakfast sandwich (no pepper) is soooo good. I order it every time I go. Just egg and cheese inside a warm buttery croissant. 😋

Best coffee in San Diego hands down and I’ve been to too many places to count. Their Viennese latte is so f$&!ing bomb it should be illegal, and it doesn’t even have sugar. Every time I visit SD I come here everyday because it’s just that damn good. The service is always great. And on top of that their baked goods are delicious af (especially the blackberry banana muffin 😍). I’m a major foodie and was very impressed by everything they have here. Great job bay park coffee!!

Best coffee shop I’ve found since moving to San Diego. Hands down the most customer, friendly and my dog is welcome as well. My favorite drink is their chai tea latte made fresh - not from powder like most places in town.

This is the second time I am visiting this place. The vietnamese coffee is still superb. But, a bit disappointed with the avocado toast. The food lacks creativity in makimg, even though the presentation is nice.
