Bass San Diego - and John made my dream bass come true. I just went in to find out about the process on ordering a Dingwall. John walked me through the entire thing. Just a down payment and worked with me on the rest. He not only did this but we walked the entire design process together.There is no way I would have ever imaged a custom build like this on my own. Absolutely blown away with the process from start to finish. They do have a lot of great basses in stock. They will also help you get your own custom bass built. Down to the wood block that it was cut from.I can not thank John and Chris enough. I can not think John enough. I know that I asked him a million questions along the way. He was always happy to help!

Top notch music shop. Ordered a bass cabinet, had a tight deadline, and it was shipped same day. Unfortunately some rare damage occurred during shipping, and these guys took care of it immediately, and sent a replacement which arrived in time. Very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with.

John was very helpful and answered all my questions about the Bergantino amp I was demoing. He also let me try a wonderful Nash jazz bass. These folks are incredibly knowledgeable and have some great stories to tell to boot. If youre looking for high end bass gear with the service to back it up, you need to stop into Bass San Diego.

The best personalized service for any Bass set up! They take their time and adjust it to your personal preference. This is my favorite Bass place! They also sell high end basses and can order you any specialized bass that your looking for. Must go and see for yourself! 10 stars if I can give it!!!

This is by far the nicest music shop Ive been to... EVER. The people are very nice and very knowledgeable, the gear is insanely cool, and they have things there that you just cant find elsewhere. If you are a bass player, you need to check this place out. I came all the way across the country to check it out and it was worth the trip.

The gentlemen that work here could not be nicer. I just bought my first bass guitar and was calling around to stores to determine who could teach me to string it. Well, nobody really did that but the stores I called would just do it for me as a service. The gentleman at this store actually took the time to show me how to string it, took extra care to clean my guitar for me and even sand out a few corrosive areas (used guitar). He also taught me what the parts of the guitar were called while he was doing all this. It was the nicest customer service experience Ive had since moving to San Diego. . . possibly ever. I definitely recommend them.

Had a very bad experience, the staff is inconsistent with deals they agree on and than say it was a mistake. Bad service, high prices, stay away! Any other dealer will get you better deals!

Great selection of high end instruments. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. They get great used instruments and update their website with the currrent selection frequently.

Awesome place, they ship to me all the way to the other coast, wish I was closer.

IME, John and Chris @BSD are very informative and they often care about your happiness more than their profit.

Came in for an electric drum kit and amp today, not pushy at all, we were given a few demos and they even held it for me til the end of the day and the lad put it in our car.
