I can’t thank these guys enough, took on a task to rebuild some “antiquish” Cannondale Jekyll shocks and revived them! Great communication, great turnaround time. Thanks again to everyone, I greatly appreciate it!

I recently sent my fork in to Ryan for service. Upon disassembly he found unusual wear and recommended against servicing or repair, that doing so would be a waste of money. No attempt was made to sell me anything, no upgrades, no waste of money. Just hard reality. By luck, the fork was still relatively new and under warranty, and with greater luck, I found the receipt. Ryan did all the leg work for me, I basically had to do nothing other than pay shipping. He even went as far as making sure the new fork was ready to bolt on and go, I wouldnt need to do anything. Above and beyond customer service. If his repair work is half that good, hes worth a recommendation.Ill be sending my suspension bits to FF from now on for anything Im unwilling or unable to do myself.

Ryan is awesome!! He did a full service on my RS Lyrik with crazy fast turn around when I was on a time crunch and a handful of other shops including my go to local werent able to fit me in. Stellar communication (even on his day off) and genuine results when I got it back. Fork feels buttery smooth. Ill be sending him my suspension for servicing from now on and looking into getting some tuning done too. Thanks again Ryan.

Great shop for mtb suspension servicing! Ryan was very helpful and professional when I brought in my fork and shock, and email communication was excellent. Front office is very clean and I expect the back is too which is exactly what you want in a suspension shop. Bonus points for the recently ridden enduro rig in the office with data acquisition installed. Got my parts back in a week and felt good as new.

Excellent service. He has either hand built or rebuilt and tuned 4 shocks for me so far. Excellent communication, fast service, fast shipping, and answers the phone and helps after he has collected money. I recommend him to everyone.

Fluid Focus is a very superior Mt Bike repair shop. The owner, Ryan knows his Bike Suspension stuff! More importantly he is very attentive to customer service and thinks about how to give 100% to his clients. They think about how to best serve their customer. I had my rear shock and KS LEV Seat-post serviced and they now both work better than new. They went out of their way to make sure my seat-post and shock were working before I had to leave for a trip to Mammoth.

Ryan is an awesome find! Great mechanic and very honest guy. Perfect situation for those of you that want to get your shocks repaired correctly the first time and don’t want to buying new shocks or waiting three weeks to get it back. He even repairs dropper posts!!!! He knows his stuff.

Only 5 STARS available to rate my experience at Fluid Focus but Id like to give it a 10. I had a really quick return on my fork service, a complete rebuild, 5 hours but I think thats not a realistic expectation. Pricing is reasonable and I obviously didnt have to deal with shipping. The fork functions like its new. F.F has my stamp of approval.

My Cane Creek DBA was sent to Fluid Focus for service. I went for my first ride on it and the seal between the positive and negative air spring leaked causing my shock to be stuck compressed. This all happened within a minute of leaving my car. Took it back to my local shop and they sent it back to be fixed. Got it back a few days later and the shock had the exact same problem like it wasnt even fixed. He clearly doesnt dyno the shocks before sending them back. I sent my shock to a better shop with more experienced techs that can fix this guys mistakes. I wouldnt trust anything that comes out of Fluid Focus.

Ryan is a consummate pro! Really legit no glam shop thats clean and ready to take on your MTB suspension. Ryan rebuilt my Fox shock, fully adjusted it to fit me weight and riding style, then he trued my wheels and actually de-tensioned and re-tensioned my spokes to make my wheels round again (somebody didnt build them very well) and Ryan made that right.Bottom line.... San Diego County has been in grave need for a suspension repair pro who does nothing but fix, rebuild, tune, etc... suspension. Ryan is the guy! Dont mess with risking taking your bike to your local shop to have them mess it up. See Ryan at Fluid Focus for a job done right and at a fair price.
