We take both cars here. In addition to the minder service we come here for, they drove the car to test the actual driving condition. They send us photos of what needs to be done with cost estimate. Every time after the car is serviced at Auto Tech, it drives better. If car needs urgent issue, they make sure to take care of it as early as they can.

Wow! These guys are fantastic. I was recommended by a friend because the dealer couldn’t get me in. I brought my car and talked with Troy and Ryan, got a quote on what I needed done from the dealer and they were so much less then with the dealer was going to charge me they also had recommendations of what needed to be done to my car and said it could wait till the next visit in which blew me away because the dealers always trying to get me to spend a lot more money when I take my vehicles in for service. Very happy with the work done. Ryan was great at explaining and handling the work needed on my 2010 Pruis for both an oil leak and 12V battery replacement (which I killed by leaving the overhead light on for a couple of days). Very reasonable charge for the work done. Also note - this shop is honest at giving the customer a realistic time frame for getting work done (and does not over commit their resources).

The folks at Autotech were able to accommodate my car for service at a short notice, did a thorough check of everything I asked to them, gave a full disclosure of what it takes to get things done and finished what I wanted them to do, by the evening.Though I did not take their ride, it was offered.It’s a pretty good alternative to a dealership without having to pay dealership prices for servicing.

I will never bring my car anywhere else. The service is great, they explain everything thoroughly, you get your moneys worth and the even send you photos of what theyre working on in your engine and other parts of your car. Auto Tech is amazing!

Troy and his team has been trustworthy and reliable. Been taking several of my cars for post warranty service here for years. I grew up working on cars so I know a few things and they have never tried to pull a wool over me. Most of their recommendations have been solid and makes sense based on my previous knowledge on working on my own cars. Actually theres been times were I wanted something done and they recommended against it was it wasnt prudent for the age of the vehicle. Keep it up team!!!

I was in need of an auto shop when my car just suddenly lost power and other problems arose. After contacting a friend for a referral, I was told dont look further than Auto Tech. Now I know why. Ryan and his team diagnosed the problem then informed me this should fall under my drive train warranty. They even called the dealership themselves. I had to then have my car towed to the dealership where they confirmed it was indeed a warranty issue. Auto Tech went above and beyond with their customer service. They will have my future business for sure!!

The crew at AutoTECH San Ramon are honest and good to work with. When I first moved to the area last year I was having difficulty passing my smog test with my Volvo. I took it to the dealer in Walnut Creek and they were no help with this issue. AutoTECH was able to find the fix and have Volvo send out an update for the system. Passed the smog test with flying colors. I would recommend and have recommended them to my friends and family.

We used to take our car to Walts next door but he will lump in random amounts or charges into the labor prices and hes way too expensive. Once I was comparing quotes for our Subaru outback for the timing belt, walt quoted me $700 over the price Autotech gave me!!This shop does everything the right way and fixed what a tire shop messed up on my car. I kid you not these guys are way better than the dealer, Ive worked for a few dealers and these guys hands down treat their customers better and their employees too and I support any place that treats their employees well.Auto tech always does great work, they are much better than the dealer, cheaper too. I made an appointment yesterday thinking that my car had brake problems and was crossing my fingers that the cost wouldn’t be too much, however I found out nothing was wrong with my brakes and I had about 4-5 other major issues with my car. The cost was going to make a big dent in my pockets and Ryan could sense that I was a bit stressed, but we both knew that it was something urgent and needed attention. Eventually, there was another part that needed to be replaced and it was going to cost me another $180, but Ryan did his best to work with me and found a coupon since it was also an unexpected fix that needed to be replaced. I’m really grateful that they went the extra mile to help me. Always both Ryan and David were friendly in person and on the phone. Their customer service made such a difference and the techs that worked on car were efficient and quick even with the many things that needed to be done. Really glad that I found them and my car was in good hands. (Will repost on yelp since I did find AutoTECH through yelp)
