I am blessed to have such an Indian store in the neighborhood which stores most things needed in my kitchen. Prices of some items like raw mangoes and dairy products is exceptionally high, but otherwise everything else is reasonable. Assortment of products and variety is applaudable !!One thing they can try is to add as many price tags as possible to help customers understand if its affordable.
Please look at your receipt closely. I caught an item on the receipt that I did not buy. I brought this to their attention and got the money refunded. I don’t think this is a mistake - it is done deliberately. They do not display pricing on multiple items despite requesting several times. They don’t care about customer feedback or even understand what customer service is.
I absolutely love this market. They have so many spices and seasonings, you just dont know where to look first. Their produce is very nice as well and they have a nice variety. Alot of things you cant find in your chain supermarkets. The people that work in the store are super sweet and helpful. I am on my scooter when Im shopping so if I ask where something is, if their not busy, theyll go grab it for my. They go out of their way to help out. The aisles are nice and wide too so it makes it very easy to get around inside. I would also like to mention that the last time I was in, the lady that was at the register even went so far as to look up some recipes for me, to use the fresh curry leaves I was buying to try for the first time. Always a very nice experience shopping here.
Whatever stock they have is good, fresh vegetables. Had trouble with specific items usually available at Indian grocery stores, but they didnt have it. Also had trouble because most of the items on rack do not have price tags.
I totally love the way where the store is located. Always there is parking space and you can just hop in go inn. U get all the stuffs of your list. Including the meat cut - the way the indian cooking is needed. But only thing that shocked me was the refrigerator- frozen items area had some water leakage and it was wet on the floor. Also I too saw some corners of the counters was dirty. If the he there place clean and tidy then they would really get 5 stars from customers.
A very convenient store and we had been shopping at this location for a few years. However, some of their products are past the expiration date and we had brought this issue to the attention of both the ladies working there. Also, some of the packaged products are very stale. This was a repeated problem. We sent them an email, but did not receive any feedback. The experience has left us disappointed and we have since stopped going to this store.
Rude very ugly lady working there. San Ramon location. She was working there on august 8 2021 night. Unprofessional! Never come here. If she gets fired only then will my family come here again.
There is a lady working at the San Ramon location. She is very rude and unsightly. We were disgusted by her and had to control ourselves slapping her ugly face. Rude aunty. This was on August 8, 2021.
Neighborly Indian Grocery. Calm and quiet to shpReasonable prices; friendly staff
Happy to have indian super market in neibhorhood.but some things are over priced and No price list on some things.return is difficult they are still saying because of covid .
This place has great, usually very fresh produce. Its also exceptionally clean and pretty well organized. Ive found everything I need here and then some additional gems like sunnunda and locally made gongura pachadi. Prices are a little higher than Im used to, but this is definitely my new spot.
No frills indian groceries store.
Store didnt list prices of most products. I had to keep asking the price of everything I picked up. You cant just assume that everyone walking into the store is rich and doesnt care about prices. Some people have a budget and dont want to overpay for things.
Love this place. Family owner storeVery helpful staff
Fresh vegetables, less crowd open till 10:00 p.m, quick and cordial service.
You can get halal meats on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sundays...that is very good
Nice selection of ethnic foods. Helpful folks. I prefer a Mom and Pop store like this
I love this place
Small Indian grocery store, doesnt stock all kinds of vegetables found at other Indian grocery stores, staff keeps changing, but they have always been nice and helpful. Has good stock of required items though it is small. I have never had problems like, infested lentils or flour from this store.UPDATE:The store name keeps changing and owners too. Now its well stocked with various veggies. Beware - The sweets or other condiments can be stale or old in most of the stores.
Two good places side by side. Most of the Indian items available. Hyderabad Biryani house is a great spot for food lovers in San Ramon. Even non-Indians are tasting this tasty and spicy items. Very next to freeway and good parking area. Wash rooms are not convenient.
Great Indian store. A lot of items available. The service is very good. The staff is extremely helpful
Went today at 2:40 to buy some grocery. The cashier didnt have a mask on and didnt put one when we went inside. San Ramon branch.
This one has all the essentials and some of the vegetables, not as well stocked as Fremont one but decent in size and stocking of Indian items. The two Telugu boys maintain the store are quite decent in interaction.Update: the store 🏬 seem to have changed owners the boys graduated and left from my last meeting them
Nice local grocery store with great variety of Indian produce.
Prices are very high when compared to the other Indian stores in Bay Area
Great place for fresh produce and Indian food
Not sure if this is a discount grocery but some items were looking like they were at the end of the shelf life. Still found what I needed and they were very polite which is more than I can say for Patel grocery off of canyon lakes Dr
Disorganized and messy. They have carts that dont fit in the aisles. Veggies are good but hit or miss. If the place was cleaner and more organized like Sikandar it would be better.
Great place! When I want some basmati rice, need some groceries, or naan, this is where I go when Im in a hurry or just want some great Indian merch!
Its a basic Indian grocery store. Their vegetables arent fresh. Have sent fungal infected reddish couple of times. Onion is always no.If you wish to spend a little more then head out for Sikandar or Patel in San Ramon.
Good veggies and Indian snacks. Find Indian food ingredients.
Cheaper than the other stores in the area. Nice place
Ok
Dis-organized. The cashier was on phone all the time when billing is and he took god awfully long time to complete or billing.
Good place to get all Indian groceries
Fresh Vegitables and all Indian groceries available
The staff is helpful
Ok ok store
Make sure you check the expiration on their products. Many are past expiration or worse, have no expiration mark!
Nice plaza and good food
