I did not expect that. Tonight I parked my car to go to Menchies across the street when I was Frozen Fruit Co… I decided to check it out and saw they had pumpkin spice ice cream. The first bite, my mouth exploded. The flavor, the creaminess, the texture. Game over. I wish I had never come here cause now I’m just gonna get really phat and addicted… For sure this place will be a successful chain one day. I’ll be back tomorrow. 🤤 🙏🏽 Oh and the staff was very nice. The cups are cute. It’s really just the bomb!

Amazing ice cream!Love it love it love it!Creamy, appropriately sweet (not too much, not too little, just right!).I can tell there was no excess sugar from the nice, round, natural and lovely flavor.The representative present this evening was fantastic, I did not notice a name badge, but it was a very friendly young man.The serving size for a single scoop was most generous! More so than any place I have been before, which is pretty amazing. The volume was basic equivalent to a double scoop elsewhere.I have no idea whether this is consistent since this was my first time at the shop, but whether it was the usual or just an especially nice guy who served me, the outcome was great!Highly recommend anyone interested in great product and service!I intend to take my friends from out of town here this coming labor day weekend.SUCH A NICE ALTERNATIVE TO THE SUPER SUGARY, FATTY ALTERNATIVES LIKE VAN LEEUN!Too much sugar in that product. Frozen Fruit Co remains one of my favorite dessert spots in LA. It still amazes me how creamy their chocolate ice cream is while still being vegan! Im glad that theyre still open during covid (delivery & takeout). Its a cozy shop so only one party is allowed at a time and you need to wear a mask.No samples since its covid but all the flavors are good (and thats not hyperbole). Nevertheless chocolate is, and forever will be, my favorite. Theres the slightest hint of coconut but its smooth and melts perfectly in your mouth. Since its dairy-free, it doesnt feel as heavy as regular ice cream would but still tastes just as decadent. The passion fruit sorbet also perfectly balances a slight tartness with natural sweetness from the fruit. Theres no ice participles like there would be from a lesser quality sorbet but its still refreshingly cool. Definitely make a stop here!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet, because it is one of my absolute favorites! As someone with a lot of food allergies, this is one of the very few places I can eat ice cream (maybe the only, now that there is no more Kippy’s:()Frozen fruit co has one of the best non dairy ice creams I’ve ever had, and bonus of no refined sugar. I’ve brought lots of friends here and we have all loved every flavor we’ve tried! The non fruit flavors are so incredibly dense and creamy, and the fruit flavors are always so intensely flavored of the fruit!This is the type of place where the moment you finish your bowl, you’re sad that it’s over and want to get another!

Really impressed by this place! I am lactose intolerant so always looking for a great dairy-free ice cream place and Ive tried a lot of different kinds. Frozen Fruit is definitely one of the best — as my partner said its just plain good, not just good for dairy-free. We got the mint chocolate chip which was wonderfully creamy and had a good distribution of chocolate as well as the strawberry — they differ from the traditionally creamy strawberry and do a sorbet, which was really delicious and fresh-tasting.The portions are really generous too; for about 5 bucks you get a huge single scoop. We actually saved half of ours because we were already getting brain freezes halfway in so it was very worth it. Will definitely be back to try the other flavors!

Sooo good! My new favorite ice cream spot (vegan or not) in Santa Monica!

Small plant-based dessert shop on Montana Ave. This is one of my favorite spots to come to for dessert. The people working there are always very affable and helpful. There’s metered street parking or you can try your luck on the neighborhood and walk. I like coming here after dinner at Fathers Office and I frequently take out of town guests here. You can try samples of the flavors, and there’s usually a couple of seasonal flavors to try. This most recent visit I tried the banana pumpkin spice which tasted like autumn. The texture was really creamy and you wouldn’t be able to guess that it’s vegan. However my all time favorite is the chocolate. There is a strong underlying taste of coconut so if you don’t like coconut, it may not be for you. However I really like how smooth and creamy it is, and it’s not as heavy as regular ice cream. You can customize your small or large cup with toppings (50 cents each, $1 for marshmallows) and there are some indoor seats where you can people watch. There’s also some benches and chairs right outside by the fountain. The coffee flavor I had with the chocolate was a nice complement and you can taste the freshness. Overall, love this place for the lovely staff, tasty dessert, and cute atmosphere.

When we pulled up to this place, I had quite low hopes and thought it didnt look as cute or trendy compared to many of the other ice cream shops in the City. However, I was very impressed with the ice cream though. I had a two scoop sundae with Date ice cream and a pistachio one. Many of the flavors were very different but also very good! The place is middle-eastern inspired so they also have baklava and other middle-eastern treats. The service was very friendly and patient. I highly recommend checking this place out as it was a very different vibe than most ice cream shops

Words can’t describe my love for Frozen Fruit Co... but I’ll try: Their non-dairy ice cream is a decadent delicious treat that tastes just as good (better, in my opinion) than traditional ice cream AND best of all they use simple ingredients, so unlike non-dairy ice creams made with tons of weird ingredients or soy, I feel great after Frozen Fruit Co. Plus everyone that works there is friendly and sweet. I LOVE this place.

Absolutely the BEST vegan ice cream we’ve ever had! Beats places I’ve been to in NYC, Seattle and Portland! Can’t get over the fact that it’s all sweetened only by fruit, no cane sugars! Cute shop in Santa Monica! I had the vanilla cashew fudge and salted chocolate! Also a huge hit with the kids! Can’t wait to go back!

Second time coming here, both times were absolutely amazing! Same guy working both times, he was awesome and the made the experience great!!! All three flavors I tried were great! Cookies and cream, chocolate and a peanut butter chocolate cup!! Raw ingredients, plant based amazing taste right up my alley and I would go again!!

It used to be real, delicious and healthy ! Not anymore ! Awfully sugary, liquid and made me feel sick .they changed the formula and lie, we think . No doubt there is some sweetener substitute or coconut sugar or some junk . My family tried it and gave it back to me . Never going back to this place again, we use to love the 1st 6 months when it was true, healthy and no sugar, no substitute, no sugars added . Stay away please . Total junk now !Now it is full of sugar

On a Saturday shopping trip, we ran across, parked on Ventura Boulevard, a bright pink truck, that dispensed plant-based ice cream.The friendly, knowledgeable, driver/server, Bobby, offered free samples of their house-made, three ingredient, gluten and soy free, vegan, coconut milk ice cream.I sampled about a half dozen flavors and ordered a scoop of the Salted Chocolate. It was served in a cup, at the perfect temperature, gently firm, unbelievably smooth and delicious. My partner loved her creamy, decadent Chocolate scoop. Servings are large. Cones are not offered.Fresh fruit, natural sugars, and coconut milk are used in their frozen wonders. And it shows. Bobbys teaspoon size samples are wonderful. They tasted of their named fruit with the underlying flavor of coconut - fresh and delightful. However, the Strawberry Sorbet, made without coconut, contained ice crystals.If you get lucky and find the pink truck, do yourself a favor and enjoy.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and encouraged me to sample any and all flavors I wanted to. The ice cream (or frozen fruit, I guess. Whatever you want to call it) was very flavorful, had a great texture, and filled me up quite a bit.However, the price was pretty steep. One scoop is $5, and its just a regular sized scoop. I also have to say, I HATED the wooden spoons. The feeling against my tongue was wretched, and I was paranoid I would get a splinter at any moment. These are minor gripes though compared to the product and service itself.

Yup, the good reviews do match up with this place, excellent quality ice cream with unique flavors and it is worth the trip when I am coming from the other side of town in the opposite direction. Yes I would love to come back and even head to the Neighbor Bakehouse and take out a pastry to go too! Both excellent places.

My friends and I all absolutely love this place. Such a delicious dessert and with no-dairy, no added sugar, and all vegan, you don’t feel guilty indulging your sweet tooth. Staff is always delightful.

What a unique concept for a frozen, sweet and healthy treat. I was craving just that while out on Montana running errands and Frozen Fruit Co delivered!The pineapple and passion fruit was perfectly crafted and I love the texture. The portion was generous and you can add toppings for .50 cents each. I took mine straight up and it was still perfect.The only drawback was not knowing more of how it was made and what else was in it. I asked, but the response was somewhat vague.Overall, a tasty treat, cute branding, plenty of seating and a lovely fountain just outside that you can sit by. I love this place! Really yummy vegan ice cream, and they keep it super simple with no more than 5 ingredients to make their ice cream! They let you sample each flavor and the staff is very knowledgeable in what to recommend for your taste buds. Theyre seasonal flavors of egg nog and pumpkin spice are surprisingly yum! And my roommate, who isnt even vegan, LOVED the chocolate mint! But they have something for everyone here, fruity or creamy and lot of toppings like fresb cut strawberries or a drizzle of almond butter! Cant wait to go back :)

Very enjoyable little frozen yogurt shop. They had six flavors and a variety of toppings. I had the salted chocolate and it was absolutely delicious.

Cant say enough great things about not only the delicious ice cream but also the staff! We had their ice cream truck come to our wedding and it was a big hit with both vegans and non-vegans! Amazing!

I went to the Frozen Fruit Co.’s truck (I haven’t been to the shop), and I loved it! I got chocolate with almond butter. It was delicious! Definitely not as creamy as ice cream (it also seems to melt even faster), but a great vegan/dairy free option.

Frozen fruit company is really tasty and a great idea! The owners quit their careers as lawyers in England to move here and chase their frozen fruit dreams. They work there sometimes and theyre super cool. Instead of ice cream they sell soft served fruit thats wonderfully delicious. Go try it.

This place is a vegans dream. I cant have dairy, and will always opt for a natural sugar when available and delicious. The cacao and coconut almost tastes like real froyo. Or maybe better. All the fruit flavors are tasty too. Ive become a little obsessed at satisfying my sweet tooth here.

Get the Macaron Icecream sandwiches!!! They have the best icecream sandwiches Ive ever had and their food is also pretty good despite the hole in your wallet you get after you realize you want a couple icecream sandwiches, a couple cookies, a couple cupcakes....Nuff said.

With things like nicecream becoming the hit these days in our own kitchens/blenders, its no wonder the idea of a wholly fruit based natural ingredient ice cream SHOP would spring up.
