I recently stopped by this Dollar Tree Store on Yulupa in the Bennett Valley Shopping Center. There are no frills here. But what they offer is value and variety at a single price point. For me, it can be tough on the finances after paying my bills. One option to making those last few dollars stretch is a store like this where everything only costs a dollar. Whether its household items, school supplies, beauty and party supplies and much more, they have it. I often find a DVD I want to watch, or a book I want to read. I also get batteries and some of my food supplies. When I checked out, the lady helping me was very friendly.The first Dollar Tree opened in 1953 and was called the K&K 5&10. They have changed there name and expanded over the years. But bottom line, they are in the business of helping make ends meet. Although the Dollar Tree chain is currently experimenting with a modest price point increase due to increased labor and transportation costs, they still offer great value at a great price.

In my experience, usually the lines at these stores are really long because they will typically only have one register open, but at this store they had two registers open and the lines and the wait were short despite fact that the store was quite busy at the time. One of the better Dollar Tree stores Ive been to in my opinion.

Love this place. Theyve actually got some great deals and fun DIY activities you can make with various items. My favorite, so far, ate the little lights made by using the light part of a solar light stake and putting it on the top of a glass candle holder or latern type jar. Good for outdoor/indoor use. Cant believe some of the stuff you can score here for a dollar! If youre on a tight schedule you may want to have someone get in line when you come in to the store for a few items because their lines get pretty long ( 1x to the back of 2aisles merging to one!) Wow!! I havent been to a Dollar Store in a long time but found myself next to this one while waiting for my food. They have everything in this store!! Lots of candy, candles, cleaning supplies, Christmas supplies and everything else. Best part is that its all only $1. Great place for just about anything you need!!

A few mondays ago I went to this dollar store and a young man at the register, I believe the name on his name tag was Emile, was wearing his mask around his chin. I could see both his nose and mouth. What’s the point of even wearing a mask! And to make matters worse when he was ringing me up he was coughing and blowing his nose. During a pandemic this is just not safe or ok. Wear your mask! I’ve been driving out of my way to avoid going to this dollar tree ever since!

Not too crowded. Enough checkout lines to get fast and friendly service. Plenty of seasonal stock. Good distancing and masking practiced.

They had a good variety of stuff. I found several things I wanted to buy, even if I could not find the thing I actually came into the store for. It was surprisingly clean and tidy for a dollar store during the holiday season. I wish the lines at the checkout had been short enough for me to actually buy something. I am sorry I ditched my full basket in an aisle. I didnt have 40 minutes to wait to check out. I am sure everyone was doing their best furing covid Christmas craziness. All the staff I saw were wearing their masks properly. Thank you

Two Employees were walking around with masks down. One employee/contractor had no mask at all. He was up at the cash register building a plastic barrier with no mask. The whole shopping experience felt like a joke. I picked this dollar tree because I thought it would be safer and cleaner than any other.

I appreciate that there was someone at the door keeping track of people coming in and out; she was kind. However, Im giving 2 stars for the lack of customer service from the cashier, Cheri. She was rudely telling me and other customers to get things out of baskets and judging what we got as essential or not. I understand were living in tough times and I work in retail but there is no excuse to treat a customer the way she did when we didnt do anything wrong and were trying to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible.

No item goes over a dollar. One of the most inexpensive places to buy stuff.

Had to stop here during this chaotic time of wildfires and theyre still open and helpful and quick getting in and out. Very grateful that they remained open when other areas have shut down despite having power still.

Lots of unpacked boxes in almost every aisle. Many empty shelves.

Always pretty busy, often with long lines. But its clean and friendly.

Fantastic selection of products that are of course super cheap. Had to go here to put together party supplies and it costed me like nothing and I was able to find everything that I needed. If you are ever throwing a little kids party this is the place to go.

A little messy but Great items some are good quality, you cant beat the price.

Friendly staff, not really busy (yay), lots of inventory...so much so that its in boxes all around the store. Still a great bargain spot.

Tons of seasonal kitich. Good selection of low cost school stationery and great selection of mylar balloons. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

None of the emplyees were wearing their masks correctly. All of them has their noses uncovered. They argued with me when I suggested they were wearing them improperly. DO NOT SHOP THERE.

This is a soul sucking depressing hell hole of a store. Its well kept. And really, what do you expect from a dollar store? But, I just get depressed walking in there so I strive not to walk in.

I wont say that I dislike the Dollar Tree. Its a good place to go if you need cheap crap. Or if you want to just grab some cleaning supplies its highly suggested to go here because everythings only a dollar

I really like to buy in the dollar tree stores.What I do not like is the staff today I went to buy some things and the cashier told me you want a bag and I thought about it for a second she got upset and weighs throwing things no matter that I was looking at the attitude and then she murmured saying why she did not take a bag, no It is for the 10, cents that it costs simply for not having so much plastic but really a very ugly attitude if I were another violent person, I would have answered him but that good that I can expose you how very bad employees. 😥😠

I think they should update the closing times. They say they close at 9 and at 8pm they close the doors, I dont know if they have had any changes due to the pandemic.
