Great cupcakes! Pretty and delicious! My only issue is that I sometimes feel like less frosting would be better, but if you love frosting this is your place! The cake is always moist and good and I love the lemon!

Cassie made my niece a custom paw patrol cake and it turned out amazing. The decorations were beautifully done and the cake tasted amazing. We were so happy with it! Thank you for helping me surprise her for her third birthday Cassie! You rock!

It had been some time since I last had a cupcake from Sift. I was in need of some cupcakes last minute. Sift was near by. I purchased five cupcakes in total; pink champagne, lemon, red velvet, chocolate and an OG. The total was $19 and some change. Unfortunately, nobody enjoyed their cupcake. All of them thrown away after the first bite. The frosting was thick, hard and way too sweet. The cupcake was dry, thick and chewy. A complete waste of time and money, I was sadly disappointed.

Came to pick up a few goodies and was disappointed. I got the princess cake cruffles and they aren’t made the same way as I had previously had them and they tasted bad. I got an OG cookie sandwich and it was hard as rock. I tried dipping it in milk but it didn’t help. Had to throw it away.

This is my go to for a lovely treat. The food is amazing and the people who work there are wonderful. Even the packaging makes me smile.

The perfect place for a “mini” dessert - avoid the $9 dessert entree at the uppity restaurant and head over here instead! I had the Samoa Cruffle - an incredibly moist coconut cake enrobed in dark chocolate. WOWZA.

Beautimous!! This is a Cupookie (Cookie within a cupcake, topped with cookie crumbs) and Now a Rumball cupcake! (Which is a brand new cupcake feautured for the month of December[It is an original vanilla cake with chocolate mousse and topped with dark chocolate ganache and dark chocolate sprinkles) . The presentation and taste [though fabulous and rich] theyre dangerous, I could eat them all day! ;)-Constant edit will update everytime I go and enjoy some delicious flavors and moist cake!-Cheers x

Walked in and picked out what I needed. One person helping the lady in front of me but other workers didnt say anything to me and on phone. The person who took care of me was very friendly.

This was the worst dessert I’ve ever had in my life! I used to come there a few years ago and the cupcakes and macaroons were the best ever, fresh and tasty. Now the cupcakes tasted undercooked and the recipe was atrocious. Macaroons were so so and those cruffles were the worse things, way too soggy. I’m throwing it all away! What a waste!!!! The most disgusting place, don’t order anything from them!

We came here for a light dessert snack and Sift Dessert did not disappoint. We tried a few of their cup cakes and their flavor was spot on; they were not overly sweet and the cup cakes were moist with the filling very smooth.

The cupcakes are pretty good, but Mustache in Healdsburg is much better. This is a good spot if you are downtown SR and in need of sweet treat and not a candy fan... Nothing special here, but nothing wrong either. Many folks love this place, so there you go ;-)

There arent very many bakeries and dessert places in Sonoma County and I agree Sift is one of the best it has to offer. However, I do find their pastries a bit too sweet rather than flavorful. Yes, there is a distinction when it comes to desserts. I enjoy the unique and variety they have to offer but even 80% of the sweetness level they have right now would suffice. There are superior places further down towards the city etc. The customer service was great and the prices were extraordinarily high but I think that has become standard so, I cannot complain too much.

Allie is the best and is super attentive to your needs. She always greets me with a smile and a cheerful hello and always asks how I’m doing which is great!

I was so excited to try this place and so disappointed after I did. We tried birthday cake and pink champagne flavors and both were undercooked and gummy. The frosting was cloyingly sweet and tasted like artificial vanilla flavoring. All of this was served up with a side of attitude we now call the Sonoma Sneer.

The ladies working here are always cheerful and the cupcakes are soooo good!

This location is one of my favorites. I will be back with my coworkers. Prices that wont break you.

I came into the shop to talk about ordering for a celebration of life service for about 100 people. I didnt specify what the event was for or for how many, but the lady kind of looked at me like I was crazy. I asked for the best way to order and got the feeling ordering online closer to the event was the best. I also asked to have it delivered and she said they dont deliver, but I knew Uber eats did and told her that. So after that awkward interaction, I asked if I could sample somethingand again I got the look like I was crazy for asking. She said I couldnt sample the cupcakes, (which was fine because I wasnt going to order cupcakes) but a macaron would be fine. I was too uncomfortable to sample anything at that point and bought two cookies. Not impressed and now Im looking for another bakery. I gave two stars because I didnt try anything else and honestly cant tell you how good most of it is. Bummer.

Great desserts but a tad pricey

Should not really be considered a vegan dessert place. They do not have vegan anything in the shop. You can order vegan cupcakes to ready 10 days later. You can only order chocolate and you have to order at least 2 dozen. Don’t waste your time if you’re unable to have dairy.

Sift has a nice downtown location. Best to park in the parking lot two blocks north of building. Buisness was featured on food networks Cupcake Wars. Cupcakes are super good. They also have some bomb cookies and cake pops and all sorts of delish treats. If you like cupcakes you should stop by.

I just walked into the store and asked about the holiday cupcakes and the girl working blew her breath and rolled her eyes and walked off and she was also complaining to other customers that she was the only one working and she was stressed out etc. Worst service ever! And Im a regular customer so Ill take service else where.

Cupcake seemed a day old or something, definitely not as amazing as everyone made it out to be (maybe it was the one I had even though I got one from in the case specifically for that reason) cause my boyfriends tasted fine.

The cruffles are my favorite! Triple chocolate. Theyre like taking a cupcake and smashing it into one amazing bite!

I was only able to get in there within the last ten minutes. So this review is based solely on their macarons. The macaron flavor was intense. We had a sampler box of 2 of each: churro, rosé, key lime, birthday cake, salted caramel, 50/50( orange). The crust of the macarons are dry enough for a good crunch, the filling weren’t so sweet but the flavor is bursting. Overall, I like it well enough to give it another go at their other offerings if i happened to go there next time.

Decent cupcakes. Nice strong flavors. The chocolate was a little dry but all the other flavors were moist. I love cake pops but the cruffles were too moist. I was expecting more from something trying to resemble a truffle. It is basically half of a cakepop without stick for twice the price. I bought two of each cupcake and cruffle for my family to try. Other cupcake shops gave me 10% discount or more without asking for buying two of everything. Sift gave me a wopping $2.00 off. I am normally a very heavy tipper too. I most likely would have gave it a 4* but all the little things add up.

We wanted to do something different for our wedding so we thought it would be a great idea to use Sift as we had tried their delicious cupcakes in the past. We set up a tasting about 7 months before the wedding date to decide on our favorite creations. As expected we were overwhelmed with all the options and combinations to choose from. We gave them our selections and they wrote it all down. A week later we had an estimate which was a fair price.At 35 days before the wedding we were starting to get worried as we had not heard from them. We sent an email and they responded with the following:--------------begin quote------------------------Im sorry - we sent your invoice to you 4 days ago (8/26). It came from notifications - Planning Pod and since you have gmail, Im sure it went in your spam folder - gmail ALWAYS sends them to spam.Im so sorry to tell you this, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate the order for your wedding any longer. Our event production schedule is set up to 30 days in advance and 9.21 is the second largest wedding weekend of the year for us. We are booked.I know you have someone else doing some other desserts for you, but if you are really in a bind - I can see what we can do, but it would mean we would be extending our staff into overtime...which translates into extra dollars unfortunately. For an order of your size, production costs would be 25% of the total invoice.----------------------end quote---------------------Needless to say we were less than thrilled. If your emails ALWAYS go to spam in the largest email provider in the world, perhaps you should warn your customers. A phone call to follow up would probably be appropriate as well.With less than a month to go before the wedding we decided that it would not be reliable to use Sift for our wedding and ended up finding two other small local bakers that were able to do the cupcakes and macaroons on short notice without any extra fees and in the end, only 75% of the estimated Sift cost. They were also available by email and their replies did not go to my spam folder.Recommendation: as stressful as weddings are, it is worth doing the extra research to find vendors that are professional and as interested in making your day as special as you are.2 stars because their cupcakes are good.

I swear Sift is heaven on earth. I discovered this while heading to eat at the Puerto Rican restaurant a few doors over on my visit from NY. I couldnt help but stop in and splurge. These are by far the best cupcakes I have EVER eaten. When I say ever I mean it as Ive had every cupcake in NYC and sampled along the East. I went for one cupcake and purchased a dozen plus macaroons which were equally phenomenal! I couldnt stop thinking about Sift so luckily I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for my 30th birthday and had them shipped to myself in NYC. The customer service to have them arrive on time was impeccable. When I had them come out for my birthday the bar went from loud to extremely quiet. Everyone was so involved in their cupcakes that no one had words and others wanted a 2nd cupcake. These were a hit and I knew it. A million thank yous to Sift for creating such deliciousness. I wish they would open up in NY. Then I would be in cupcake heaven.
