Used to come all the time but they no longer have bags with handles. You pay for a tiny paper bag with no handles and they fill it to the brim. DeCiccos has bags with handles and since I buy large loads its much easier to go there except for small items. I wish FM would do better with the bags. I wont bring my own, Im not doing that. If Im paying for a bag I want it to be a real bag.

I’ve always loved shopping at supermarkets however some are more unique than others. What I’ve always loved about the Fresh Market supermarket in Scarsdale is that it’s always spotless! The staff seems to really want to help their customers and they have a fantastic selection of fresh produce, olive oils, spices and great varieties of ice cream. Friends of mine love their beer selection and they also have an excellent bakery and seafood department. Their store is smaller than the big box supermarkets and that’s another reason why it’s such a pleasure to shop at The Fresh Market!

A nice variety of wholesome and organic options with great sale prices. Latina cashier was friendly, kind and quick, even though it was the end of the evening. She went above a beyond and even quickly helped us make a store card. They also have a fully functioning deli counter inside.

Picked up these amazing birthday cake donuts! We ate half of them as soon as we got home. The treats here are amazing.

I have shopped at Fresh Market for years until April of 2020. There was a very rude and nasty Latina manager, who would tell you what you could and could not have. She would bully her co workers and quite frankly it was just disgusting. To avoid her I went to Decccio and Sons. Much nicer atmosphere.I returned in 2021 to happily find out that that the rude Latina manager was fired. Now I can shop again although I still shop at Deccio.

I love the fresh market but the last couple of weeks the deli hasn’t been up to the usual standard . The deli manager Veronica usually prepares my stuff perfectly every week . The last three weeks she hasn’t been there and I’ve gotten my order wrong three times . I don’t know what going on but I hope she comes back soon because if I get my order wrong one more time I’ll go crazy ! Other than that everything is usually great .

My go to place for everything. Pricey but worth every dollar you spend. Stellar service. Always a pleasure to shop here. Very very clean!

I really enjoy the Fresh Market.The women at the prepared foods on Sundays is so nice and helpful, I dont remember her name but I believe she wears glasses.I love the music they play in the store and the open air layout.

Definitely, one of my favorite super-markets I have been to. Have been a customer here for a while, and everything about this Fresh Market location is great. I suggest looking at their fish/meat selections, as they are super fresh and a have a lot to choose from. Thank you, Fresh Market, for supplying wonderful products, especially during these times.

Ordered the Easy Entertaining Spread for New Year’s Eve. Veronica, the deli manager, was an absolute pleasure helping me and even asked if I needed help with getting my order out to my car! There was an abundance of food and it was delicious! Thank you Veronica for taking care of me!

Good selection of fresh produce and groceries, but terrible customer service experience at this store. They had advertised “buy one get one” on a number of products throughout the store, but when I went to check out, everything rang up at full price. When I asked the cashier, she insisted that nothing was on sale, and so I politely said that I didn’t want some of the items that I’d only opted to purchase because they were discounted. The cashier stared daggers at me and started shaking her head as she removed the items. Surprised by her reaction, I suggested that she could check the shelves if she didn’t believe the items were advertised as being discounted, but she refused to acknowledge or even to look at me from that point on. Very strange experience, and not one that encourages me to want to shop here again!

Beautiful and clean supermarket. They have a great produce section. Their roasted chickens are delicious with a variety of spices. The soothing classical music makes you forget that you are grocery shopping.

This is my favorite place to buy patisseries and whole coffee beans; they carry a variety of coffee beans from their own brand (excellent taste) to non-conventional, small organic family based companies. Their price is a tad bit steep but the quality of their products are worth the price.

Great place to shop! You find everything you need! This place was clean the employees were awsome! I had a few questions regarding to some of their Deli items, met Veronica Deli manager she went out of her way to make me feel welcome even though she looked pretty busy she stoped doing what she was doing and answer every single question i had! The weekly dinner for 4 is an incredible value. So easy to make dinner. I wish they had a new one every day, it is only a new meal once a week starting Wednesdays. Usually its $20 but worth $40 if purchased separately. I also buy coffee at FM. The produce is pricey. The meat is good and decent prices. Good place to buy spices. Bakery very good. Grocery section pricey but has unique items.

Since the world changed back in March, I have regularly driven from White Plains to Scarsdale to shop at Fresh Market. The store is spotless, well run, has top quality meat and fish counters, and all the staff are friendly/helpful. I really appreciate you all at this very difficult time. Thanks guys!

Fresh produce, excellent prepared dishes and and a recommended sushi section. It’s my first choice for hard to find items for cooking.

I ended up going here because I needed cheese. And I loved it! They have so many items that you definitely need time when going to this store. They have a whole section dedicated to candy so beware when bringing a kid they might not want to leave . I’ll definitely come here again they had a lot to choose from but I didn’t have enough time to browse .

I always shop at fresh market Eastchester and would give it a much higher review.However I just read a statement from someone who had just been there earlier. The employees are not wearing masks or gloves. If you want people to shop, please adhere to the rules.Plus this has bothered me for sometime even though I disregard it. You are too close to Trader Joe’s not to train your staff to greet each and every person coming in.Just a suggestion.

This is my new go to market. Upscale store with great selection of produce, stellar fish market and butcher. The Scarsdale store (across the street from Lord & Taylor) has hard to find items, like lemongrass and Aleppo pepper. Their Little Big Meals, available every day are a real bargain - today, for $20, I received all fixings for a chicken parm dinner for 3-4: freshly breaded chicken cutlets, a large jar of sauce, mozzarella, a bag of a salad kit, lb of pasta and pecan brownies. The selection changes weekly. I would go for the Little Big Meals alone!

Poor service never restock anything

A boutique supermarket thats on the pricey side - dont expect to go there and find Hellmans Mayonnaise, youll find a gourmet selection instead (Although, I do like trying the different brands they have there). Produce, fish and meat depts selections are fresh. I usually go there to buy lunch and my biggest issue with Fresh Market is not enough cashiers open and the lines (most times just 1, occasionally 2) are long (and when youre on lunch break, this eats up most of your time). I havent been to Fresh Market in the evening. There candy/snack section is AWESOME!

Amaizing store! Its organic food and displays are always magnificent. I enjoy going there. Its a good sized store and Ive found many things here to be great! They have food thats ready to go and their isles are always clean, produce arranged, and displays appealing.

Thought this place had high standards. Went to order from the butcher. They weighed the meat on the scale without placing any plastic or paper to protect the meat from contaminants. I asked the butcher to give me a new piece of meat and he grabbed it with his bare hands. In addition the meat turned out to be spoiled, which makes sense why it was on sale. This is absolutely unacceptable. People can get sick and die from their lack of sanitary precautions. Will be reporting this to the food inspector.

Nice range of goods but way too expensive. Who shops here when Yrader Joes is right next door? The answer: when you desperately need something that TJ does not stock.

The service here is good. I like the variety. I am a hipster millennial douche, who enjoys the finer things in life, like making my review ironic in the hopes 3 people will appreciate the meta humor Im shotgun style aiming for. As well as the whole been coffee & beer selection. A side note, google likes reviews to be above a certain number of characters. I think that means they see an opportunity to monetize reviews in some way? Which i think is kind of insidious, but ultimately I am just a shell of person and I would sell my autonomy for just the slightes recognition.

Expensive and dimly lit, but a unique selection of high quality products that are hard if not impossible to find anywhere else.

Their cold cuts are the best. Sourdough bread is delicious and some of their prepared fish and chicken pieces to be cooked. However, their packaged salads and sushi are not always fresh.Their empanadas are not great. They need to use better meat or at least shredded beef as to the two little chunks of meat and the rest is fillers. I have found meat cartilage instead of meat!Their soups have been great until they raised their prices so much it does not pay to buy them. The same for their sandwiches.

My favorite grocery store. If you like root beer, theyve got a few of the less common ones. The produce is always good. Huge beer selection. Its about as close as you can get to a farmers market in a chain stores.

This market is fresh. The prices are a little more then other grocery stores but you know what your getting will be fresh. The parking should not be an issue most days unlike Trader Joes.

Fresh market? Really? The salad bar was so not fresh that the food was really disgusting. Wilted mushrooms, tasteless ham, falafel’s that felt like dirt sponges, stale croutons, etc. Maybe it was an off day, but I’m disappointed.

Second time this happened- guess I forgot about the first time months ago. They put the soup and salad away at like 7pm when they close at 9. People are still eating dinner. Went there yesterday just for hot soup. Ended up buying the packaged container but I was in a rush to eat so not really convenient. I used to work at a supermarket and we never cleaned up food 2 hours before closing. At least the place is clean. I really only go there for the soup and candy.Update:I bought shrimp from the seafood bar Monday afternoon. Its now Wednesday night. The fish is garbage now because it smells awful and its slimy. Cooked fish should last 3-4 days in fridge. Mustve been a day or two old to begin with. Fail.

Fresh Market is a high quality, high price, specialty food market. Everything the sell is top shelf, but as I said, except for sale items, they all come at a price.

I bought some beautiful prime first cut rib eye steaks which I went in for as they were reduced 25%, a jar of Raos marinara sauce, which The Barefoot Contessa rated as good as her homemade, some Cambozola cheese, a favorite, fresh, (still warm) sour dough bread, and some almond cookies for my grandsons. All the staff that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. If I could have managed to carry more, there were tons of things that looked great, but my poor balance limits me to one bag.

Fresh market is one of my favorite supermarket in the country. I travel a lot around the country cause the work of my husband. I was surprised when I arrived to Scarsdale area, NY when I found a fresh market close to home, but when I visited it for the first time I was surprised with what I found: the worst bakery, poor, disorganized, repeatedly employees do not meet With the hygiene standards, the desserts they sell are not fresh, and are not well prepared to standards. It seems that the only thing they like to prepare are cookies ... whenever I go for croissant I cannot find one. In the food area you almost never find Panini and if you find them are not freshly made it. Sea food salads are not fresh. Employees do not know anything when you ask them. Apparently there are many flaws in the administration of this place. Nothing is working, no management skill whatsoever.What a disappointment... so good store, but bad experience not one, two or three times .... many times that I have lived this situation in this fresh market.I do not understand whats going on ....A simple Cannoli .... old, And without filling

Accidentally dropped cellphone while dealing with my toddler having a tantrum... several employees were close by and were watching the entire incident. After leaving store I realized I forgot to pick up my cell phone and returned back to store, but now none of the employees remember the incident or saw any cellphone. Find it hard to believe considering the whole thing happened in less then 30 minutes. Manager wouldnt even check cameras because he says they dont work. Will not be returning to this store... the employees didnt even seem to care or want to help me.

Disappointed, definitely NOT like the Fresh Market in Latham, NY, which is superior to this store. Very small aisles, not laid out properly, just seems not right. Not many in the store, surprising, as it IS Scarsdale and Eastchester! Not much of a selection of cleaning products at all. Did lick up a few things, but definitely Patronising the Latham, NY store, better selection, doesnt feel cramped, and surprised that upstate had it over down in Westchester!
