The rice is freshly ground, and theres a lot of Japanese soy sauce, sesame oil, canned fish, and all kinds of knickknacks. Its very delicate. The important thing is that the staff here are very friendly and professional and they will answer all your questions and give you guidance. I really like it here and I will come back again

The product they sell here are of very high quality. The cannef fish exceptional quality, when most of us think of canned fish we get, they are of mediocre quality but outside of United States there a lot of high quality seafood product that are canned. The sticky rice I get for sushi rice, get is really good, very huge grain. I cant find Japanese rice in the local Japanese mini mart/ supermarket that is big as this.

A lot of interesting goodies, stuff Ive never seen before. Some of the sauces are so good. They are so helpful and will explain things to you.

The rice factory sells unique crops of special import Japanese rice and refines the rice for you at the time of sale for maximum freshness. If you are looking for the highest quality rice, there is no other comparable store. They have a great home delivery operation, but its worth visiting the store yourself and picking up some of the other high quality Japanese products like cooking sake, soy sauce, canned mackerel (delicious) or my favorite - the fish-shaped kitchen sponges. I sincerely recommend this store.

So this is an odd little place and I hope it stays in business. They stock many varieties of short grain rice. They stock the varieties as brown rice and the mill it into white rice fresh for you to order. This is sushi snobbery taken to another level an I for one support it. The also stock aged soy sauce, high quality miso, and a small selection of Japanese pottery. Please check them our they are awesome. Also they have the best rice snacks I have ever tried.

I visited the store yesterday out of curiosity for the first time after seeing an ad for it on Instagram. The shop was very clean & had a several imported Japanese culinary goods to purchase. Satomi, the woman who was working in the front, was kind enough to answer all of my questions about the products & even offered me some rice samples. The pure brown rice from Nagano was incredible & I winded up purchasing a small bag. Satomi offered me plenty of much needed advice on the best ways to cook the rice to keep its rich flavor. I even bought some puffed rice as a snack for later & its delicious! Next time, id like to try some sauces.I highly recommend coming to this store for some unique high end artisan Japanese goods. It really is worth every penny. You can taste the difference in quality & the freshness right away! I haven’t actually purchased anything from this store but i went in today and the woman in the store was so friendly and sweet. i will definitely be back. they have a varied selection of rice, dishware, mochi and other ingredients for japanese cooking. all of it is very high quality, neatly organized and it is a very serene store. i love it!!!
