Prices for the amount was pretty decent. I had the old fashion with strawberries 🍓 Id like the strawberries to taste less canned and more fresh. But I know thats most places. Is definitely go again if I was in the area to try something different

Great quality, but sometimes they sell products that are just about to expire.

Tried their chocolate cake shake, first time ... Im definitely coming back for more! Love the range of ice creams available, along with ice cream cakes! You can dine in if youd like. The front half is sitting space where you can order and the fridges are slightly towards the center. Plenty of parking in the back. On a sunny day, it may get super busy! Will update once Ive tried their milk (plain, reduced, and chocolate) enjoy!

Went through the drive thru, it would be easier to read the menu if it were lit up. Got a double scoop if mango pomegranate sorbet. It was good but be warned sweeeeet! My hubby got the old fashioned strawberry sundae. Nice and creamy, Ill be getting that next time!

This is a great place. There are board games and chess built in the table. There are many products for purchase such as cheese, guacamole, milk, etc. The ice cream is really good. The service is good. The restaurant is clean. Its not far from my house so I frequent.

I absolutely love Oberweis! The birthday cake shake is amazing and the service is always phenomenal. My husband is a huge fan of their cookie dough ice cream. I like the consistency in quality and service. The Orland location is just as great.

Im a type of person that likes sweet stuff. The ice cream here is high quality but it wasnt sweet enough for me. The price is a bit high. All in all, if youre someone that likes less sweeten ice cream and prefer high quality ice cream then this place is for you.

The banana royal is so enormous and fulfilling. If you like roasted pecans then these are too die for the perfect crunch and so airy. I always get extra its well worth the up charge.

Awesome treat. Impressed by the ice cream. I’ve lived in Griffith my while life and never tried this place until today! I’m a health nut, what can I say..but I do wish I would have tried sooner! The strawberries in my Sunday were delicious. I will get myself a bday cake from here most definitely! Was a nice selection of breakfast foods including bacon, milk and eggs. Various ice cream cake flavors, as well as lemonade. My only gripe is that the service took very long, and it wasn’t that busy. They looked like they were short staffed. No big deal, just throwing it out there if anyone is on their lunch break and has a time limit.

Recently moved to Indiana and was hoping I would have the same experience I did in Illinois with Oberweis. That was not the case at all. Schererville had the poorest customer service that I have ever experienced at an Oberweis. They didnt have Dulce de Leche ice cream for the sundae I ordered. Then they said they were out of pineapple for my banana split, which they didnt even tell me until after they charged me. Then the girl making my banana split brings it to the window uncovered and pretty much has it hanging out the drive thru window to ask me which scoop of ice cream I wanted the hot fudge on. No apology for the inconvenience or even a thank you for my purchase. Besides that, the ice cream made me sick after I ate it. This is by far the worst Oberweis that I have ever been to and probably the worst ice cream experience I have had.

Love Oberweis.Great ice cream and great shakes. I understand its personal preference but the cookies and cream, as well as the strawberry are easily the most impressive flavors for me. You can buy a treat or stock up on some pints to take home. Good service although a bit slow.

I love their ice cream flavors, so many good choices but my seasonal favorite is the Black Raspberry Choc Chunk or Blueberry Pie. Chocolate, Mint Chip, and Strawberry always great their quality cant be beat by any other chain ice cream store. Coldstone may be more creative, but Oberweiss is better quality.Their regular and Chocolate milk is delicious, but I buy that from Stracks so just come here for ice cream!

The ice cream the course was very good! However, the entry and sidewalk and parking lot area near the door were very slick the day I went they needed to be salted something fierce!

The last 3 times I’ve gone there, they’ve messed up my order. Then, they charged us extra for their mistake? The manager watched the whole thing happen and didn’t say a single word to us. Overall, just so disappointed, especially since it’s not the first time and we have been charged extra each time. I genuinely don’t know how it’s so confusing to put ice cream on a cone instead of a cup 3 different times and then for them to question us like we didn’t know what we ordered.

First time there today. Ice cream was amazing. Wife and I shared the brownie Sunday and it wad delicious. Plenty big enough for the both of us. Staff was friendly and they gave our daughter a balloon! We will be back. Careful parking. Tons of traffic and parking is tight.

Would not spend that much money again. Their ice cream was good but paying 48$ for 3 sundaes was not worth it. I’d rather get DQ any day!

Great tasting icecream

I have visited this store so many times my mom and i love their Chocolate Shakes, however i have been very disappointed my last couple of visits with the fact that instead of getting a delicious shake i get a cup of partially blended ice cream. i called to complain and the young lady took my name and said on my next visit i would get a complimentary shake, itll probably be a while before i return honestly.

Its hard to go wrong with Oberweis - its the Queen of dairy! They still do home milk delivery, though in a very limited area. Thats still pretty amazing. Its still totally worth it to pick up - hormone free and not over pasteurized like grocery store milk which removes nutrients and the poor delicious flavor. Oberweis milk, however, is not certified organic.But, lets get to the ice cream. Delicious! Natural ingredients albeit the reviled corn syrup. Always and eclectic list of choices. My favorite is the Honey Butter Cashew, so rich and heavenly. But, my regular order continues to be the Frozen Caramel Coffee drink. Its unbeatable and special treat.

Oberweis has amazing ice cream! Love this place. Prices are reasonable and the staff working is always so nice. They always give us a cone or a chp for our dog too which of coarse we love! They have awesome addicting flavors and everything is always fresh. We go almost every weekend!

What is there not to like about Oberweis? I could take every item and loose myself in them. The Icecreams, milks, cakes. Everything is so delicious. The only thing I don’t like is I can never make a solid choice on one thing! Yum! It’s so great! I would recommend. Clean, friendly, fast!

Ice cream is rich, creamy and flavorful- especially the honey cashew, so yummy... I love it. A little pricey but very tasty. The staff are courteous and the establishment is very clean, cool place to bring the kids for ice cream. Restrooms are clean.

Excellent choice of relaxing music that brings back memories and enjoying the flavors and the awesome milk shakes. I brought my beautiful wife here in our first date. I just love this place.

We simply love Oberweis ice cream. Never had a bad experience with the personnel. Stores are clean. Personnel is friendly and helpful. Bring back the Brandy flavor :)

Delicious products and a super clean establishment. Friendly and helpful staff to top that off. The icecream is great, the milk tastes better than the cheaper store brands. The milk comes in a more environmentally conscious glass container as opposed to plastic which is a plus. Prices are a little high but that comes with quality. You can get your icecream or milkshake via doordash which is super futuristic. If I could make a suggestion it would be to add chocolate soft serve since only vanilla is available currently.

I visited the drive-thru for milk shakes and the apple crumble parfait.The milk shake we ordered had very chunky banana pieces that couldnt come though the straw. The Apple crumble parfait was average. However the service was pretty good and quick.
