My experience was amazing, like the ones of all the other reviewers. I severely crashed my Trek Emonda and was concerned about cracks. I brought the bike in on a Saturday morning, expecting it would take a few weeks. I am an hour away from the shop, and they did it the same morning. X-ray inspection, details about what they found (which in my case didn’t require repair), bike clean up. Very professional, very quick and friendly. I would recommend this service to anybody and I’ll certainly keep them in mind for future needs. These guys deserve the business.

I wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else for a carbon repair. I race and put a lot of miles on my bikes. Frank has repaired two of my frames, one of them twice. I have continued to ride them hard. One has over 20,000 post repair miles. The other just won a gold and silver medal at the masters national Championships. He does great work. He is busy though, so turn around time can vary. If you need an expedited repair, make sure he knows and if possible he’ll accommodate.

These guys took care of a cracked seat stay on my Canyon carbon frame. They did a full X-ray of my bike to check for other damage, and were able to tell me the extent of the fracture in precise detail ( 6 layers deep, 75% of the circumference, no longitudinal propagation). The repair is so well done I cannot even pinpoint where it is unless I feel the seat stay with my fingers and seems totally solid. They even cleaned up my bike for me, and were willing to go the extra mile to deliver great service. The repair took 1.5 weeks, and was at a great price. Their website says most repairs run ~$300 and the final cost was very close to this. God forbid I have another crack in my carbon frame or wheels, I will definitely be coming back. One word of advice - they are small operation with two guys. For example, the phone number listed here seems to be Franks personal cell phone. Having a bit of patience and being proactive with communication will help you get the most of their great service. If you want the kind of customer service that comes with a bigger operation, I hear there are other alternatives at higher prices and with longer lead times. But, if you are like me and want to get back on your bike ASAP and save your $s for artichoke bread at Pescadero, these guys wont disappoint.

Great experience. Im an hour away, so I drove my sons bike down to his shop for the repair. It didnt require any breakdown of the bike, so saved on that piece of it. They called and emailed when it was ready. Immaculate repair, all in under 2 weeks and at a very reasonable cost.

I went to Spyder to have a frame repaired with a crack in the seat stay. After dropping off the bike, I was able to work with the manufacturer to warranty the frame as the crack was not the result of a crash, but rather an unexpected failure in the carbon. During this process Spyder was not only understanding, but took photos of the frame for me, and was extremely helpful and attentive. Prior to dropping off the frame they were easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. I did not require their services this time, but I can assure you I will go to them for any future carbon repair.

I had a great experience with Salar. I brought my broken Kestrel carbon fiber frame repair about a month ago. He was honest enough to tell me that it wasnt worth fixing. And they had a compatible Jamis frame that they could sell me for a great price. I actually like the used frame better than the bike I brought in for repair. Thanks for hooking me up!

These guys are golden. Came in with a possible headset issue, but they were able to confirm its a bearing used that had the wrong form factor.They ended up not charging me anything for a half hour diagnosis.They were pretty helpful in diagnosis, possible fixes, implications on costs, etc. Would totally recommend them to anyone gladly!

Awesome experience!! Had Salar fix a broken spoke on my Santa Cruz Bronson, replace my valve stems and check my brakes. The service and turn around was by far the best and fastest in the area. Ill be back next time my bike needs work. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good honest service.

I chose a custom paint job after a small carbon frame repair. They provided a pro build when reassembling; and I took the opportunity to upgraded some key components. It’s like getting a new bike. Everything works flawlessly and silently.

I have been going to Spyder Composites bike shop pretty exclusively for about 4 years, there defintely my go to bike shop. I call Salar or Frank and they completely set me up with exactly what I need which helps because I am bike rider not a bike mechanic and most of time I dont know what that is. Always quality parts. There great for local bike trail advice too.
