Administrative rating: 1 stars. Terrible to total lack of communication when medications are out of stock, delayed, etc. Very frustrating.Staff/ customer service rating: 4 stars. The staff are really kind and one of the only redeeming aspects of this location.

Have seen a drastic turnaround in the pharmacy here. Used to dread having to go to the pharmacy due to long lines, rude exchanges, and a lack of willingness to offer aid. Thank you for going above and beyond multiple times now!!! Well done CVS!

With insurance is not free! “Free Flu Shoot “( it says 5” tall, easily read from the street! ) then “with most insurance” ( it says 1/2” tall, can’t even see from the street! ). So I go call and ask “are CBS giving away free flu shots?” And they say “yes” so I drive there from Boulder Creek 12 miles and it cost $40 because I don’t have insurance. If the insurance pays then it’s not free! The sign should read “no copay” not “free” if someone pays it is not free! The point is, me unemployed do to covid doesn’t have $40 for a “free flu shoot” I talk to the managers and she called corporate they said they thought their sign was honest.

I had absolutely the best service from Vin, Aaron, and Erika. I highly recommend CVS Pharmacy in Scotts Valley. Aaron was running back and forth to both registers trying to get everyone there prescriptions in a great time manner. Thank you so much for all the great service you guys give me . I will always come back to this Pharmacy as long as I get the same service I did today (: Happy New Year

Vastly understaffed at pharmacy. Good people butthey cant make up for company policy. Theyve lost RXs or claim theyve never received them; sent robo-calls saying an RX was ready when it wasnt, etc. Im going to try Walgreens to see if thheyre any better.

CVS is the worse pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Prescriptions are lost in home delivery and they lie to you after refusing to answer the phone for at least 10 minutes (worse at CVS Front street). They tell you your insurance wont cover a med you have gotten for over a year.A critical med I needed was on order for 2 weeks before I finally got thru to them and, all of a sudden, it was in stock only the day before. My Dr gave me emergency meds for 14 days.One needed rx I had to buy for $40 OTC instead of my usual $6/co-pay.If my insurance didnt require I use CVS, I would never have anything to do with this inadequate store.

Went to get my flu shot with my girlfriend our appointment was at 3pm i arrived at 245pm and checked in the person who checked us in saod they would call us in 5 minutes, checked back at 330pm because they never called us. Theybhad forgotten. Pharmacist helped someone before me to give them a flu shot after i had been there for almost an hour to then have them tell me they couldnt figure out my girlfriends insurance. So we left. CVS wasted an hour of my time and screwed me over. Never shopping there again i will take my business to walgreens or elsewhere for pharmaceutical needs. I hope they go out of business.

There are always three employees working for every one customer shopping, yet everytime I go in there there is a line built up on the one register open, bogged down over some philosophical discussion about coupon strategy. Im happy Aunt Gladys saved .04 cents in just 30 minutes of haggling but Ive walked out every time since I can just get what I need from the Safeway next store without waiting.

Rushed to get allergy medicine for fiancé. Store hours 8am to 10pm. Doors locked at 9:50; call store, clerk says no further sales.

Great place to get a wide range of Santa Cruz Roasting Company coffee and be able to grind it.The seasonal and holiday items can be a reasonable price and the after holiday sales are great.Get you fishing and camping gear and one day fishing license.Photo Dept: The system that they have to enter information for one hour photo is not quick and not all the staff know how to work the system. Jared was good about fixing things when the system kept calling me for a picked up photo order. They used to have a staff lady that ran the photo department and did an awesome job; she is rarely working the photo department.

Need shampoo or beach stuff. Need some aspirin or candy, not just a place to get your prescriptions they have a little bit of everything and pretty good prices. Always neat and clean with friendly service

Tried to pick up a script for my husband after having it transferred. They lost it twice, and then said they couldn’t refill it. We called back to our home pharmacy who called and found that they had received it. Our home pharmacy told us it was being prepared so we came back. Nothing. Here again this morning and it’s not ready. Now back and they are preparing it.🤔

Store is well stocked, and my limited pharmacy experience has been good. However, the place is usually near empty, and thats likely because of the pricing policy. On one of my rare visits (the Walgreens down the street is more convenient for me) I bought a box of CVS 100 Flexible Fabric bandages on my way walking to the nearby McDonalds. The price was $9.29 CVS and $10.99 Band-Aid brand. However, I found later that that the Band-Aid branded product is $6.11 at Amazon and couldve easily been added it to my next Prime order. Im willing to pay extra for convenience and to support local businesses for sure, but thats an unacceptable differential - paying 80% more. I couldve driven back later and gotten a refund but wasnt inclined to do that.. The problem for CVS is that I and likely others may shop there and later decide not to make the same mistake twice, which is why this CVS is usually so devoid of customers.

Started using Pharmacy recently and really liked it and I like their deals with their card thank you CVS

Be prepared to wait forever! Followed by a lot of we can’t fill that now and we are out! Keep waiting. Use Wallgreen in Scotts Valley! Way better!

Avoid this pharmacy. I came in for a scheduled refill of 4 medicines. I called ahead to make sure everything would be done and ran other errands. When I get to the pharmacy, they say, we are still waiting for one to get finished. Itll be 10 minutes. I sat OK and wait in line again. They check with the filler woman three times. 45 minutes later and on the fourth check she says she doesnt have that name to fill. After all that. My prescription was finished the entire time. Could have been a ten minute visit.

Open till 12pm and quiet, peaceful shopping at 9 at night. Good bottled water prices $2.44 for 24.

I would give this location a 0 if I could. They NEVER hav the photos printed on time. The staff is short tempered and not very helpful.

Horribly under staffed pharmacy. Long waiting lines of customers all complaining about the collapse of this pharmacy. Staff is so over worked and under staffed it is a true safety issue for the public.

The first CVS I went to in Pleasanton screwed up my order and now the CVS in Scotts Valley there printers are all broken very difficult to get my projects done through these two CVSs lets hope the one in Santa Cruz has their act together

Very poor service. I have had to ask them about six times not to auto-refill the medications I take, but they continue to do so. When I complain, they have no response. I suggest you avoid this pharmacy.
