I have only been here for parts. If they dont have it, they will get it in a very timely manner. They are highly knowledgeable and very wiling to help. This is the best place to go in our area for parts and appliances hands down. Highly recommended.
To say this company was unprofessional would be an understatement. I was incredulous by the the lack of communication. The service they provided was extremely underwhelming. They missed our delivery date and did not inform us of it whatsoever. We had to find out from the tenants a week later that the delivery simply never arrived. When we called to ask what happened they told us they couldnt deliver it for another 3 days and that no refund/discount would be provided (a clear sign that they do not care about a customers experience with their service provided). Once the NEW delivery day finally came, guess what happened?A) They didnt answer/return our 4 phone calls for a status updateB) They missed the delivery window by 2 hoursC) They installed the appliance incorrectlyD) All of the Above ?The correct answer is D!Even after completely dropping the ball this company still never failed to surprise us.If you value customer service this is your warning to NEVER use this company.
I have never experienced an establishment of any kind, with worse capability and customer service. The incompetence was astounding. To start, they were a week late with the delivery. Every time i tried to call, I would be informed that they would get back to me. You would think that if a business was a week late on a delivery of an appliance that was already PAID for, they would jump to rectify that issue. but not this store. they finally found me a delivery date 3 days later (now a total of 10 days late) did not offer any discount, store credit or even apology. 3 days later, the delivery was set to happen, and I had to call 4 times, and kept being told oh they will get there. Again, you would think that now being 10 days late, this would be the first item on the delivery agenda, but of course, it was not. They finally delivered it at 7pm that night, when the delivery window was 9-5. The best part? They installed it incorrectly!! We had to hire a plumber to come and fix their mistake as the first time we ran it, it leaked all over the floor. Do not ever use this establishment. What a horribly run business.
Called to buy refrigerator disconnected 3 times. Finally model asked for was told unavailable impossible to get in white or black. Asked for alternative choices in similar price range 700/900. Was bluntly told they had nothing nor could get me anything. Offered 0 alternatives and rushed me off the phone. Shocked as l had been recommended to them. Got original model within an hour from a box store and was delivered in 2 days
I recently purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator. The freezer freezes up I would say it has icicles in it. A service guy came out a week ago and told me he wasn’t told the reason for the visit and he has to put silicone around the freezer and I would need to reschedule as everything must be removed from both the freezer and refrigerator for up to 4 hours he would be able to come the following week. I then called Frigidaire to express my concerns about the problem on a brand new refrigerator. Said it was very important the service person upload the info to Frigidaire after the visit. She couldn’t locate Dunmore Appliance as being able to upload the info and made an appointment with another service for May 16 which she said I could cancel if I found that Dunmore Appliance can upload the info and take me sooner. I go back to the store and the gentleman told me yes after the visit they upload the info. He took my name and number and said he would put it on the service person’s desk to reschedule.Today a week later after not receiving a call I spoke to Andrea about my unhappiness with the refrigerator and the poor customer service. She told me I didn’t need to remove everything from the refrigerator. She checked to see who the service person was since I did not know his name and then told me “no one has been to your home” and that she would have someone call me. Again I haven’t received a call. Unless there’s an imposter driving a Dunmore Appliance van I can say with certainly a service person has been to my home twice.Needless to say I am keeping the appointment that Frigidaire set up with another service. I do like to buy local and after buying at least 5 appliances over the years from Dunmore Appliance. They just lost a customer.

If I could give this place 0 i would solely off the terrible customer service. Haven’t even walked into the establishment yet called for questions and the person who answered but the phone down and loudly said why do i always get these people with the questions and transferred me to someone who also apparently didn’t want to answer any questions either. They just lost a potential customer off the fact that the customer service experience was terrible before walking into the door.
Just left Dunmore Appliance and purchased a washer from Jason G. Transaction was quick and efficient. Jason went over all the details of various washers and advised me on the best washer to meet my needs. As soon as more refrigerators become available I will be back to see him. Just a fabulous experience for an unexciting item.

Before COVID-19 they had a great selection but everyone is having supply issues now. I did have to wait a little bit for a refrigerator but that is not the norm for Dunmore appliance, they deliver quickly. I wanted a specific stove and model for my home 2 years ago, that they do not sell and carry in their store and they went above and beyond to get me that appliance and I couldn’t be happier! Great service.

Used washer delivered with broken part. The delivery person ripped up brand new flooring and laughed. Called supervisor this lady has no customer service skills and likes to hang up on their customers. If they had a negative star that would be to good for this business. My suggestion not professional and they dont care. Was told how about we just take our washer back from you. Shame on your supervisor. Accidents happen yes but have the courtesy to treat your customers with respect. This incident happened to my daughter.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!! I WOULD BUY USED APPLIANCES OFF OF FACEBOOK BEFORE I WOULD TAKE ANYTHING FOR FREE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!To start, my wife and I ordered our appliances from this place on 12/13/19. We spent over $10,000.00 on our appliances with them. We decided to buy local to try and support local places vs big box stores.To summarize, we didnt get our refrigerator until October 27, 2020. Literally almost 1 year later. I caught this place specifically Andrea (I believe her name was) in a lie a couple times. She continued to blame the delay on COVID, but I found out that it was not because of COVID. They damaged my refrigerator the day it was coming to get delivered and tried covering it up using COVID as an excuse.We waited for about 6 months for this to get resolved. Unfortunately, it NEVER got resolved. The called me one day and said the only way to resolve it was if I was willing to pay an extra $1300.00 for my refrigerator and take a refrigerator that I didnt want. Since we moved into the home on October 18th, my family was living out of a loaner refrigerator which was not working for our family. The entire time I was begging and pleading for the truth and to give me real updates. They gave me false updates every step of the way until I finally had enough.My wife and I had our second baby boy on August 4th of 2020. While my wife was home recovering from a C section birth, they told me the only time they had available to deliver this refrigerator was on Tuesday when they delivered it. With my wife home with a 2 month old and a 4 year old, the refrigerator was delivered.The delivery guys delivered the fridge, my wife was home with our newborn baby and my 4 year old son in a middle of a pandemic. The delivery guys destroyed our brand new hard wood floors when they were bringing the fridge into our house. When I got home that evening, I saw the damage and immediately took pics and a video and sent it to the Dunmore Appliance rep. He got right back to me and told me he would immediately get this dealt with. That was on October 27, 2020. I waited until January 25, 2021 to follow back up with this nightmare because I never heard back from them. They obviously either forgot or just didnt care about ruining our brand new floors on my families dream home.I finally received a call on February 8th from their Insurance carrier State farm Insurance telling me they were not going to cover the damage they caused to our home because they said my wife who was home with a 2 month old didnt see where they ruined our hardwood floors when they installed it. In fact, she didnt even look because it was still very hard for her to get around. I immediately saw the damage when I got home and Immediately sent the photos and videos to Dunmore Appliance and at the time they told me they would take care of this and get it dealt with.ANOTHER LIE FROM ANDREA!!!I called State Farm back today because I called Dunmore Appliance to figure out what was going on and again, they blamed State Farm. When I spoke to State Farm again, they continued to tell me all about the issue. They said that Dunmore Appliance would have to pay a high deductible for this claim and they wanted to fight it and not pay it. They are hiding behind everything they can to try and not look like the bad guy, but DUNMORE APPLIANCE HAD MUD ALL OVER THEIR FACE WITH THIS. Of course, Andrea from the store denies everything and continues to lie to me about it.When I spoke to Andrea on the phone today, not only was she one of the rudest people I have every spoken to, she was so condescending when she was talking to me. She literally spoke to me like I was some piece of garbage trying to steal from them.I am obviously not going to lay down and let them do this to me. I do plan to take this to the next level and do whatever I have to do to hold Dunmore Appliance accountable for their actions.It is a shame that this has to go to this level, but they feel the can just tell me to shut up and I will go away.
A week before Christmas the glass on my oven door shattered, leaving me without a functioning oven. Ranges are almost impossible to find during this pandemic, but fortunately Dunmore Appliance came to the rescue. They had exactly what I wanted and delivered my new range two days before Christmas. Very friendly and helpful.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. totally unprofessional. My sister and a few friends have ordered and all had issues with both employees and product. She ordered a washer and dryer and when it arrived it was dirty. Then it stopped working on the first use. When someone came to fix it they ziptied it to make it run until they have the part. And THEN RIPPED the brand new vinyl in her apartment and laughed about it.
Lady that just answered your phone today was extremely rude!! Especially when I only called to get estimates on used dryers you have available and she yelled callback tomorrow! She needs to learn customer service skills especially in sales!!
Terrible experience. They sold me a broken fridge and then Andrea was as rude and uncooperative as possible about sending someone out to look at it. I was trying to support a local business, but that was a mistake. Will never buy from again.

If you need a part buy it online. Was charged 45 dollars for a 10 dollar part.
They had what I wanted it was only slightly more than if I ordered it online. Probably the same price after shipping and handling. And they had it in stock so no waiting my dryer is fixed and running same day. Even with social distancing two people in at a time. I was in and out within 20 minutes with part in hand.

First of all let me say that I was initially unimpressed with their delivery time. They told us between 3-5pm and it showed up at 6 after some phone calls. But heres why this place gets 5 stars (I would give it 6 stars if I could): My grandparents live alone and ordered two refrigerators, I just happen to be visiting when they got delivered. My grandparents took measurements as best as they could, but when the fridges arrived they were a hassle, the one didnt even fit period. Not only did the delivery guys keep a good attitude the whole time (they were friendly and apologetic about being late), but the owner of the store showed up and really worked magic. They helped with turning off the water, they manoeuvred impossible stairways, they took off railings, and doors. And when the one refrigerator didnt fit, the owner rushed to the store and measured all of the models they had. He ordered us the correct one, plans to have it delivered first thing when it arrives, and was generous with the restocking fee.It really made me happy to see these guys caring when clearly they didnt have to go as above or beyond as they chose to. Especially when I see my grandparents being taken care of with respect.So while you can probably get the same stuff from Home Depot, these guys are locals and they have heart. So I would highly recommend being patient with the delivery times, because when they get to you they are going to be worth it.

After several headaches at big box stores I realized I was overlooking a reliable privately owned business in my own back yard. It took me longer to drive there than it did to go through the hassle free purchase of a new appliance and the delivery men were very professional and very knowledgeable on my install and on time, big plus. The price of my appliance was less than other places and I enjoy keeping my business local.
We were greeted upon entering the store and walked through to see what we were looking for. I honestly expected to see a bigger variety in a store that is all about appliances and nothing else.I couldnt tell you if they are more expensive than other retailers for exact items because we werent allowed to have the model numbers of the items we were looking at. The employee said we dont want to do all the work, when the price I gave you is the best in the area, to just have you shop around.I wanted the model numbers to be able to look up reviews (as the same employee had suggested looking up reviews).I was off put enough by the comment about models that we will likely take our business elsewhere.

We visited dunmore appliances and enjoyed our experience, except we wanted to read reviews on the products that we were quoted on. They would not give us the model # of the units they quoted pricing on. Informed consumers do there homework and when a company will not give me the info on what item they are quoting a price, I will not buy from them. So you just lost a $4100+ sale.

I would give a zero if I could. I purchased a built in microwave, and at my own fault which I admitted, it happened to be the wrong size. I called and offered to pay for shipping back to the warehouse and I would purchase the correct size there. I was told “it was my own fault and they do not do returns”. The lady was extremely rude and just said she would have the salesman I worked with contact me and hung up before I could say anything. So now I am supposed to eat $2000. Also no one ever called me back. This is terrible customer service, especially for a family owned business. People make mistakes and I offered to cover any expense incurred to them to take it back. I typically try to support local whenever possible however I will never shop here again. No wonder people use Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowe’s more often.

Worst customer service ever. They did not deliver my dryer on the scheduled day. I got two different stories why they were unable to deliver my dryer on the scheduled day. I called and the girl on the phone started yelling at me. I will tell everyone I see not to buy anything from them. The woman was so disrespectful. She should be fired. 20 people in my family. I told them all not to go there and I hope each one tells 20 more.

I buy all my appliances here. They are cheaper than the retail stores that we came to know. The people there are very helpful and knowledgeable. GREAT PLACE TO BUY AN APPLIANCE
The absolute worst service I have ever encountered. My husband and I bought a dryer Thursday. Used twice. It has stopped working. Their website says:“Service - Our in house, factory-trained service technicians are also employed by Dunmore Appliance and have been for nearly 20 years and are experts at repairing any problems that arise - guaranteed.”And we have a warrentee. I call and first they try and get me to fix it myself then they tell me someone named Kieth will be out but he never shows so I call back and they say sorry they have no records of anything and they are closing for the day. I’m returning this dryer and buying from a reputable company. I urge not to waste your money on this junk. These guys are con artists.

I have been a long standing customer for Dunmore appliance for over 23 years and have previously purchased all my appliances from Dunmore Appliance refrigerator, stove, washer & dryer. Recently I purchased a new washing machine including hot and cold metal mesh lines so I purchase them. When it was delivered they did not bring them. When I called they stated I could come down and pick them up but if they had to bring them there would be a service fee.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ATTTT ALLLLLLLLLLL VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE ITEMS THEY HAVE WORKS JUST FOR THE MOMENT I BOUGHT 3 DIFFERENT ITEMS AND THEY ALL GOT FREAKING MESSED UP OUT OF NO WHERE. THESE GUYS WONT SEE A DOLLAR FROM ME EXCEPT A MIFDLE FINGER.

Called early in the AM with the promise of a call back which was never received. Finally decided to go to the store because I couldn’t get through on the phones all day. Older gentlemen asked if I needed help after wandering around. Told him I just needed to know if they had my part. He said I should have brought the part with me in which I replied “if someone called me back as promised,I would have known”. He “guessed they could look it up”. A bit more pleasant women helped me by looking up the product number as the older gentleman proceeded to tell me “its 2 days before thanksgiving” that “nothing and no one isn’t going to have anything”. They didn’t have what I needed,didn’t offer to call another location of theirs or offer any help other then telling me “try amazon prime” and writting down my product number. Never going back,never would recommend this place to anyone. And I hope for everyone else’s sake,that older gentleman gets a lesson in customer service.

I wouldnt give Dunmore Appliance any stars but unfortunately I have to give them one in order to write this. My fiancee and I prepaid on a washer and dryer with the expected delivery of January 28th 2019. I was told to call the day of delivery at 9am. I called at 859am and spoke to Joe. Joe stated the delivery drivers are not there yet and to call back at 930am. I called back and a lady picked up and stated she could not get in touch with the drivers and she would call me back in 5 minutes. I provided my callback number specifically so she would not call my fiancee as he was on strict bed rest as he just had a serious surgery and I didnt want him to be disturbed. I never recieved a call back and for curiosity sake checked his cell phone. Dunmore Appliance called his number back instead of following specific directions and not honoring there word in which they stated they would call my cell number. I called them back which was about 10 minutes later from when they called my fiancees cell and they said that we would now have to wait until Friday. I am beyond frusterated as I took the day off of work for this delivery and followed all of there instructions. I called back and Joe picked up. I asked to speak to the manager and as per Joe the manager was off for the day. Joe also hung up on me by accident and I had to call back. Go figure! Joe also stated they were low on staff and the lady that took my cell number down when I called back at 930am was the only one working...How is this my fault? I dont set the staffing schedule...I dont work there!!! I am a customer!!! I called one minute before 9am...I called back at 930am and spoke to the lady in the back office behind the counter...provided her my number to call back on and never recieved the call. I let Joe know that we are coming back for a refund and will do our business elsewhere. Joe never even apologized, he just said if that is what we want just let them know and hung up the phone. Joe appears to be very skilled in hanging up the phone. He had no problem taking our money a week prior to our delivery and couldnt even man up and apologize for the inconvenience that Dunmore Appliance caused us. I work in customer service and would never treat my customers like this. I looked thru the reviews and they are reflecting that other customers have had callback and poor customer service issues and this seems to be an ongoing issue from Dunmore Appliance.We went with a local business for the pure fact that we like to give small businesses our money instead of going to the big box stores...Guess where we are now going? We did get our money refunded and are now going to do our business with Lowes or Home Depot, even if we have to pay more money. I refuse to be treated like this when I work hard for my money and will never deal with Dunmore Appliance again. It is sad that they do not know there backside from there elbow and lack any form of empathy when dealing with customers. This was a bad 1st and last impression and I would think twice before using them...Go to the big box stores or find a local business that has experience with treating there customers well... Also, upon looking at the same washer and dryer at Lowes we will be saving around $150 as they are having a sale up until 02/06/2019. Big box store here we come!!!!!!Update!!!We ended up going to Lowes and we were able to get a Whirlpool brand name washer and dryer for $970.90. Dunmore Appliance wanted to try to sell us a Hot Point Washer and dryer which is a lower end brand for $1112.79. Lowes kept in contact with us every step of the way and continuously gave us updates of the delivery. Lowes and the delivery drivers were very courtious and professional every step of the way and provided beyond exceptional customer service. Bottom line is as a consumer it is very important to do your homework in this day in age before spending your hard earned money.

Bought a refrigerator 5 years ago. Came scratched, freezer leaking h2o from the get go. Then, the entire fridge/freezer broke, only 4 years old. The ancient, rude repairman that came to service our fridge offered no help, just made us purchase a whole new control panel. He also made me move the fridge for him while he sat in my kitchen and talked on his phone! After spending nearly $400, we only had a 30 day warranty. That should have told me something about their skills/service right there. Well, 9 months later, we had to buy a new fridge. 5 years old, $400 repair, for nothing.
