When I walked into this little shop I noticed two things, the wonderful smell, and everything was kinda dusty and dirty.There is an old electric stove behind the counter, as well as a recliner and a older man kinda napping.Also a sign saying cash only.These are all signs of a fine dining establishment in my experience. Its clearly been open for awhile.This is disguised as a grocery store but it is actually one of the best places for a take out lunch around. Skip Wendys get real food.I ordered a gyro. It was one of the best I ever had. It was definitely the biggest. It could have fed 2 large hungry people for sure. Also have kabobs, falafel and shawrma.Also a good selection of middle eastern groceries. They had falafel mix, imported cheese and halal meat. And super friendly service.Highly recommended. Bring cash.

Recently added a restaurant portion on the last 3 years or so and the food is absolutely amazing! Wife and I got two plate dishes with different meat and it was so great! The portions were huge, it is all fresh, nothing negative to say. We WILL be back many times in the future now that we’ve found this hidden gem

As everyone else notes on here, the food is legit, place is cool. Been coming here for last few years. True hidden gem, with delicious, real food, and a lot of it. Definitely support this spot, we need more of them.

Fresh, quality, reasonably priced Mediterranean fare. The shelves are scarce (mostly spices and sides) but food is great and the portions are plenty. The owner is friendly and always happy to give recommendations or serving suggestions. Grab a bag of flatbread near the front door, you wont be disappointed!

Sandwiches are awesome...generous portions, decently priced. The guy makes it fresh from the scratch so give him a little slack. Order beforehand on the phone if you are in a hurry. Eat in the shop or on the tables outside.Somewhat okay store for middle eastern and South Asian grocery. Halal meat is alright, but not that well stocked on other ingredients.Roadside parking available.

Falafel sandwich was fresh, delicious and huge. It comes with lots of veggies. Two sandwiches are enough for three people.If store gets more organized and look fancier the business will boom will attract many more.

It might be a good place to get catering for events, but in terms of the availability of groceries, it is not that great. Place is too small and it doesnt have a lot of stuff. If you want to get some good variety of Middle Eastern groceries and at reasonable prices, you need to drive all the way to San Jose.

A small halal market in Seaside. The owner is very friendly. In addition to the usual products he sells plates of kufta kabob, chicken, beef, or lamb. The plates come with rice, humus, tabbouleh and bread. I have lived in the Middle East and found his food delicious, with generous portions and at a really good price.

Halal meat is served here. Stopped by here for lunch since I was in the area for work. Its mostly a middle eastern & Indo-Pakistani grocery with halal meat shop. They also serve food and have a small seating area. I tried the gyro which was decent. Had a little too many vegetables and less meat. The owner is very friendly. Prices are reasonable.

Im just enjoying great Gyro right now. It was sooo great that i had to give 5 star while right here. Great service.

We got there a few minutes before closing. We asked for a cooked meal which they then offered to warm up for us.they had the largest and best tasting dates I have ever had.i bought a pound but if I had known how good they were I would have gotten two pounds. the selection was limited they are a small market.on the other hand they had traditional breads and meats and other foods that you probably cant get anywhere else in Monterey county I will go back for their dates and meats cooked kebabs and next time I plan to try some of there other foods. Many people eat using pieces of bread as a fork or spoon so they had long flat breads that serve that purpose.traditional Aganistan bread they said

This food was spectacular! And the service was unheard of! Long story short: I ordered through GrubHub and for some reason GrubHub canceled my order. Being an outstanding owner, he contacted me directly to see if it was GrubHub that canceled or if I did. Being that I still wanted some excellent Mediterranean Food, and being that he had prepared it, he arraigned to bring my order to me directly since GrubHub messed up. He literally shut down the shop for 10 minutes to run my food to me! Outstanding service! He went way out of his way for me, the customer!

Good selection of hard to find items. They had good pre made food also. The man behind the counter was so helpful and gave me the best falaffel recipie, it worked beautifully. We will be back.

I recently visited this market to see if I could get my hands on halal Meat. The place is really small but quaint. I was able to purchase my meat and a few other things at what I condiser a great price. The store has a variety of mediteranian breads and goods. He also makes fresh hummus and fresh tabouli. The owner was very friendly and I will probably be going back to purchase other products.
