I cancelled my MDINR service from Lincare of Sebring, Florida for the following reasons: The nurse who handled my set up and instruction bordered on being unfriendly and she appeared in a hurry to get me set up. She did not, nor did Lincare tell me that my INR service WAS NOT COVERED BY MY INSURANCE! Consequently, we have been charged $93.+ a month for INR testing. When we switched to Alere which is covered by Aetna, and since I have met my $150 in-network deductible for 2018, I will have no further charges for my testing for this year. A savings that Lincare does not provide. Further more, all of the Alere personnel I spoke with were very pleasant and helpful. Also, they sent me a great deal of useful information about diet and behaviors that will help me stay in range; MDINR provided no such information. When an Aetna rep set up a conference call between Aetna, me and a MDINR contact, the Lincare rep was rude, combative, and continually interrupted the call with his bombastic overrides. *** Alere also has an app for reporting, no phone call necessary, and our Alere account will keep our records for us. Much easier, faster and more convenient than phone reporting. *** INR testing is vital to me and I am glad that now it is being handled in a much more pleasant, efficient, and helpful manner.

This company has the worst customer service at their headquarters location. Calls are usually put on hold for lengthy times (I have waited multiply times of 20 plus minutes. They were overcharging me for products saying I had a insurance copay when in fact I do not. They over charged me $82.00 in a three month period. When I found out from the insurance company they were doing this, I called them. After speaking with three different people, they agreed they had overcharged me. They said a refund would be issued in 4 to 6 weeks. I called on 10/22 with not success of getting the refund. I called 10/30 and was promised by a supervisor that she would get it approved and hopefully mailed same day.

I was going to stop at the office in Sebring today but after reading the other reviews, I knew I was wasting my time. I don’t know why doctors refer their patients to Lincare. They are unreliable and never return calls. As it is, I am stuck with equipment I don’t want.
